Hopeless Wanderings

So I just got back from Hawaii today! And while I was there I had two lucids in one week! That's like a record for me since I dont really try anymore..

This first one was longer than usual but I don't remember much. My mom was talking to me, blabbing on and on about something and for some reason her annoyingness got me lucid. I went outside to try to decide what to do and did the first thing I usually do when I realize I am dreaming, try to fly. I jumped up and down several times but it didn't work out that great. I'm not sure what else I did but I know it lasted for a fairly long amount of time.

Funny thing is.. the day before I had this one, me and my sister went up Mt. Haleakala above the clouds at sunset and we were talking about how cool it would be to have a lucid about this. And that night I did! It was short, but awesome!

I don't remember how I got lucid, but right when I did I remembered the chat me and mhy sister had and closed my eyes to try to teleport to the mountain. I thought it would be really hard to do but it was actually really easy. When I opened my eyes, I was on a swing right above the clouds near the mountain. I decided to jump of the swing and fall towards earth so I could get that fun feeling in my stomach. I think I woke up shortly after that.

so I know its a bit late to be posting this.. past 11:30pm.. but I had an amazing dream last night so I just have to post it. I don't remember much anymore so I'm just going to post the main idea.

I was in an airplane with some other people, I don't remember where we were headed. We flew up towards the clouds and for some reason the top of the plane was open so people could get out and sit on top of it. Everyone soon piled out on top of the plane to see the thick clouds we were going through. It was a thin layer of think clouds, if that makes any sense. I was so excited to be able to see a cloud up close, so I rushed to the top of the plane and felt the clouds brushing against me as we zoomed by in the plane. I opened my mouth to taste them, and they tasted like thick mist(I guess it figures). It was so awesome though! I also remmeber at one poing I was high up in the air on a tree overlooking a lake up in the clouds and I wanted to jump to another tree. People were telling me not to because it was dangerous but I did it anyway and jumped in the air to grab a hanging branch of a tree nearby and safetly attached myself to that tree. It was a beautiful view throughout this whole dream.

Train

Me and my friends were going somewhere, I think it was to a Summerfest type of place because we had to take a bus to get there. Well actually, that bus turned into a train. We would sit on the edge of the train tracks until the train would come because it was surrounded by water. It was pretty dangerous because when other trains come, we would have to jump out of the way quickly and duck and it would go over us. It got to the point where we would have to lay down on the ground to avoid the train hitting us. I think one time we got knocked into the water somehow. I looked around and saw a few of my friends struggling in the water. Dani came up to the surface out of breath so I had to help her get out of the water.


Playing in the Clouds

There is one thing that I’ve always wanted to do in life, and that was go above the clouds and be able to look down over then without being in an airplane. I’ve also wanted to be high enough to be in a cloud and be able to touch it. I pretty much experienced this when I hiked up Pike’s Peak a few weeks ago with my family and clouds covered the mountain. For a few minutes, we appeared to be in a cloud so I went out and took some pictures. Well anyway, this is probably why I had this dream.

I was inside my house when it started to get really cloudy outside. These clouds were really puffy and they were close to the ground. Instead of being foggy and misty-like, they still looked like actual clouds do when they are up high in the sky, but they were coming closer and closer to the ground. I remember that I had always wanted to touch a cloud, so I looked in my backyard and saw a cloud within touching distance. I didn’t want to look stupid, so I quickly opening my door, ran outside and touched the cloud (which felt really cool, like you feel the cloud but you don’t because your hand just sinks right into it.) and ran back inside and shut the door. I wanted to try this again so I went to my front yard to try it but this time I saw people staring at me. I felt like they thought I was crazy.

Then, I appeared to be with my dad in his car. There were clouds everywhere now. We were at some kind of park and I got out of the car an faced a wall of clouds. It looked so fun, and I couldn’t help myself- I just jumped right in! I think my dad might have joined me at some point. It was an amazing experience. It was like swimming through the clouds. There was a child and a mother by us, also playing in the clouds. After awhile, the clouds got really thick and I couldn’t breath that well. I tried to make my way back to the car but it took some time. I was almost out of breath by the time I got back into the car.

Then I remember going home and telling my mom about the experience. But now, the clouds were really dark un my backyard and not as close to the ground. They appeared to be almost black. I also remember posting something on my facebook wall that said “My wish came true! I touched the clouds!”

This was a really fun dream
