      Glory of Love

I dreamed of Altaïr. Nothing much happened during the dream, at least not action wise. But Altaïr wants to get married. Although the bigger question is why in the world would he choose me? He says the one thing he would like to do more than anything else would be to find a way for me to get physically out of this dimension. He says using door that is death is not acceptable, but a door like the one on Roland’s beach or in the haunted house would be. He says that if he can’t get me out of this world, then he’d rather come here. To have the chance to prove that I’m wrong. Prove that I’m wrong when I say that no one out here could ever love me. Prove that I’m wrong when I think there is no love left in this world. And if that second part somehow proves to be true, then he wants to bring love back through the love that he feels for me. I just fail to see how that’s possible considering I’m so fat ugly out here. But he is said he doesn’t care how fat I manage to get, and he says he could never see me as ugly. Besides, he seems to think I might still be able to learn at least some of what it takes to be an assassin, including parkour, and he says that there’s a lot of exercise in doing that. And, of course, doing it with him would be fun. I wish I could. There is no way of making that a reality. I’m stuck here, and he stuck there. Although I wouldn’t consider him stuck.

Altaïr is singing a song to me. That seems surprising at first, but I think he knows very well that I am more receptive to music than to normal talk. “Tonight it's very clear, as we're both standing here, there's so many things I want to say. I will always love you, I will never leave you alone…. I am a man who will fight for your honor, I'll be the hero you're dreaming of. We'll live forever, knowing together that we did it all for the glory of love. You keep me standing tall, you help me through it all, I'm always strong when you're beside me. I have always needed you, I could never make it alone. I am a man who would fight for your honor, I'll be the hero you're dreaming of. We'll live forever, knowing togetherthat we did it all for the glory of love. Like a knight in shining armor, from a long time ago. Just in time I will save the day, and take you to my castle far away…” It enters my mind that Masyaf could be considered a castle… so he really does have a castle! Now if only he could really take me there… “I am a man who would fight for your honor, I'll be the hero you're dreaming of. We'll live forever, knowing together that we did it all for the glory of love.”

Altaïr repeats that he wants to get married, even if it can be only in his home world. He wants to get married at Masyaf, to literally take me to his castle. He says we should do it, and invite everyone we know that we can trust and share dreams with and everyone we know from the dream state that we can trust, there’s room at Masyaf! I’m not really sure what to say, I have realized I’ll never get married in the physical world, but doing it in the dream worlds… Altaïr says he thinks my birthday would be the perfect time to do it. He says to at least think about it. I don’t need time to think about it… my answer is yes… YES!

Game of Dreams – House of Fire

Arya: I am in a bed inside a room made of stone. I am Arya. I hear a sound. At first I think it is a wolf howling, but then I realize it is a horn blowing. And I immediately know it is a signal of danger. Everyone is scrambling to get out of their beds and get their clothes on and grab whatever weapons they can find. I climb up to the battlements of this fortress along with several other people. The man who is the leader of our group is already there. His name is Yarin. As I look out over the village, I see most of it is on fire. I wonder what the point of that is? A group of soldiers comes riding up to the gate. The one that appears to be their leader commands us to open it. Yarin says that none of the villagers are here. He says that the only ones here are members of the Knight’s Watch and we take no part in their war. That doesn’t seem to matter to that guy below. He says open in the name of the king. Yarin says we don’t recognize any king. We are all with the Kight’s Watch. Mostly children. The guy down below says children died the same as anyone else. I am thinking to call him a cowardly asshole, but I keep my mouth shut. It is clear that these enemies, who are flying the Lannister banner, do not give a shit who we are. They just want to kill people. The leader down below gives the command that they should storm the walls.

It is at this point that a strange cloaked figure stepped out from the side. It is a woman, dressed in white robes. She looks like she is from Assassin’s Creed. She tells the soldiers that they will have to get past her before they can assault the walls. They find this amusing. I realize that that woman down there is me. After a brief exchange between the enemy leader and me, there is a short fight. I watch myself easily dispatch three soldiers that come forward to kill me. This is really kind of interesting. I don’t normally get to watch myself being a badass. The enemy leader asks me if she really thinks she can take on all of them by herself? That’s when Altaïr shows up. He says I don’t have to face them alone. I am thinking I will watch the fight, but Yarin doesn’t seem to like that idea. He says that it’s only a matter time before they get past those two weirdos, and truth be told, we really don’t have a chance against all those soldiers. He says Gendry and I should run. He says to take as many of the others as we can. I am thinking there is no need for that, but then I remembered that the barn is most likely still on fire. I have to get the three prisoners out of there, and as many animals as I can rescue. I follow Gendry out towards the barn inside the fortress, that is where they keep the animals when they have to hide up in the fortress. And it is on fire.

There is a little girl with us that seems to cry all the time. Gendry scoops her up in one arm. He has no trouble carrying her. We get into the barn, I hear the animals around panicking. I also hear the prisoners trying to break free. Gendry and Hot Pie have opened a trap door in the floor. They tell me to hurry up and come along. I’m not ready to go. I ask where they left the axe that they were using to chop wood? They tell me it’s outside. I told him to go ahead, I will catch up. They disappear through the hole. I hear a lot of noise right now, both humans and other animals are panicking. Since no one can see me, are use telekinetic energy to blast out a couple of large holes in the walls. This allows for donkeys and horses and some other barnyard animals to escape. But the prisoners will need some help. I run outside and quickly grab the axe. I run back into the barn weaving around horses and donkeys as they run for safety. The smoke inside is thick. It’s hard to breathe. I follow the sound of the prisoners calling out. When I get close enough I throw the axe up to one of them. I can’t even tell which one it is. I figure they can free themselves with that.

Now I see I could be in trouble. This barn is completely engulfed in flames all around me. I know I can’t make it back out of the barn before it collapses, so I dive for the trap door opening that Gendry and Hot Pie used. I just barely get through the trap door when I hear a loud crash behind me. I face plant in the mud but I don’t mind. At first I thought the barn had collapsed completely, but I guess that hadn’t quite happened yet. Because I have only gone a few feet before there is an even louder crash behind me, followed by a cloud of dust and smoke. The dust and smoke make it hard to breathe. But it soon passes. There’s no way I’m going to be able to go back the way I just came. The dust has settled enough that I can continue going through the tunnel. But I don’t get very far before I wake up.

Game of Dreams – Night Assault

I am in a Game of Thrones world, but this time I am not inside one of the characters there. I am myself, Raven Knight. I look around and see that I’m in a town seems to be mostly on fire. There is clearly an attack underway. I hear the sound of voices not far off. I followed those voices. I see there is a fortress near the center of town. That is obviously where people go to stay safe from attack. There are numerous warriors standing outside of the main gate. The one that appears to be their leader is yelling at a guy up on the walls. I recognize the guy on the wall as the one who is collecting new members of the Knight’s Watch. His name is Yarin. I also remembered that he seems to assume everyone will honor the fact the Knight’s Watch doesn’t take any side in a war. I know that to be bullshit. The leader of the enemies calls up at Yarin that he should open the gates in the name of King Joffrey. Yarin says that the Knight’s Watch does not take a part in their wars. But that doesn’t seem to matter to the guy in the armor. Yarin says he will not open the gates. The asshole leader of the bandits, bandits fighting for the Lannister‘s, says that makes them traitors to the true king. He orders his people to assault the walls and kill everyone inside.

At this point I step out and walk right up to the gate. I am between the enemies and the gate. I tell them that they will not be able to assault the walls until they get past me. There is some laughter at that. The leader mocks me and asks what a little girl is going to do to keep them from getting into the fortress? I told him the only little girls around here I see would be him and his people, the one to seem to enjoy murdering children. Oh, and for the record, I personally think Joffrey is an ass and a bastard. The leader orders everyone there that they should kill me and then assault the walls. Before they make their move I ask them, is that your whole plan? Kill me? Because it’s not that easy. A couple of them come up to just clear me out of the way easily. It is not easy. I use the song Warriors by Disturbed. “I am now an instrument violence! I am a vessel of invincibility! I will not leave this undecided, stepping down to battle another day!” As they come in attack I form my right arm into an Alex Mercer blade. They have some pretty good armor on… and my Alex Mercer blade cuts through it as if it was tinfoil. I cut down three enemy soldiers that came forward to kill me.

“Surrender now or be counted with the endless masses I will defeat! I am one with the warrior inside!” Their leader says that’s an interesting blade I have fitted over my arm. He asks if I really think I can take on all of them by myself? A man’s voice says I don’t have to. I turn and look to see Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad. Now there is an Alex Mercer and an Assassin fighting them. One of them asked Altaïr who the fuck he is? He just says that they wouldn’t know him, but now they’ll never forget him. The Warrior by Disturbed continues. “Our dominance can’t be denied, the entire world will turn into a battlefield tonight! As we look upon you with warrior’s eyes, we can see the fear that will ensure our victory tonight!” Altaïr and I fight. The enemies are unable to stand before us. Altaïr also has some ranged weapons. I’m not sure what they are. But they knock enemies off of their horses without harming the horse. I am also aiming at the enemies on the horse, not the horses. I don’t want to hurt horses. Just as the song is ending it seems that the enemies have decided they’ve had enough. Many of them are dead, and the rest of them are retreating.

Now Yarin calls to us and asked which King were fighting for? I tell him we’re not fighting for any king. Altaïr says were fighting to protect the ones that all the kings seem to forget about. We are fighting to protect the innocent. I comment that I don’t think they will be bothered again this evening. But if someone comes back, then I’ll be back to. I look around in the burnt village for a bit. I am thinking that I want to find cats, so I wander off. Searching near the lake, I find a mother cat and some newborn kittens. They are stuck between a burning building and the lake. I scoop up all of the kitties. I pick them up in a basket that they were laying on as a bed. So now I have a mother cat and five kittens in a basket. It is about here that I wake up.
    4. Back to School Daze

      Back to School Daze

I am at Pima Community College heading to my class. It is a computer animation class. There are a lot of people standing around outside right now. And there is a serious weed problem. I’m not talking about the drug. I’m talking about plants. A strange plant has been growing out of control. It is a plant that looks kind of like human hair. It is blocking the pathways in some places. People who want to get by have to grab large chunks of it and throw it out into the desert. It isn’t hard to pull up, and I am actually thinking that this part of the plant is already dead. It looks like serious fire hazard. I am thinking we should try to do something about it, but right now my class is going to start. So I find the correct classroom and go in.

I sit down at a computer that has some 3-D animation software running on it. There are some premade models already in the scene. It actually already looks pretty cool. I see a planet, moon, lots of stars, and a person. A character model looks like Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad from Assassin’s Creed. I am just messing around before class, and I stand Altaïr on the moon. The model of Altaïr is much too large compared to the moon. When I pull him too close to the moon, he automatically bends his legs. I am thinking that my work isn’t very good, because I see someone else working on their project and they have some weird space entity that is eating up all of the other objects. But they don’t seem pleased with it, so I guess that’s not what they wanted to do. My computer does strange things. More models appear. There are now two characters and three moons. The new character looks like Desmond from the Assassin’s Creed series. He is trying to balance on the smallest moon. He fails to do so, and falls right out of the monitor into the room with us. I am sitting there looking at him, he is on the floor next to my seat. All I can think to say is, Desmond! You’re real!

I wake up in bed and get up. I am thinking that I have to go to school. I go out into the other room where my mother is watching television. It looks like she is watching an old episode of MacGyver. I start telling her about my dream. She doesn’t seem very interested, but pays a little bit of attention. I am telling her about the features on the 3-D software, and saying I wish the real ones did that. I have just gotten to the point where Desmond falls out of the computer. My mom stops and looks at me, and asks if he’s cute? She says I should marry him. I tell her he was only a dream. I can’t marry a dream. My mother doesn’t pay any attention to the dream part, and says I should marry Altaïr. I am considering that maybe I am still dreaming, but I wake up before I can do anything about it.
