Seeing that you do a running start and feel a push with teleportation made me think of jumper. Never made a connection between moving with the purpose of teleporting before.

I have played a few party games, nothing intense or with that mechanic. I think my main idea comes from the mmo Guild Wars. I should consume some cool media to get more ideas in my subconscious/dream brain tho!

Have you ever played any VR games?
Some of them have a teleporting mechanic for movement, I may be trying that soon just to prime my brain.

Yay! Reading your entry brought me back a forgotten dream I had a while ago. It was on a white illuminated building with balcony on a hill in the middle of the night. I was taking short cuts through the balcony to get to the other floors

in dreams like these, i wake up as if i was lucid
the details are more, the sound are more, i remember everything just like a lucid.
they are proof to me to me of the strangeness and actuality of the dream plane,
or of the powers of your mind (whichever way you lean).

This is so interesting. I have had discussions with with mods or dream guides about being semi lucid. Some said that in a lucid dream, you know you are dreaming, and there is no such thing as a semi lucid dream.

Of course, they would likely say that knowing you are dreaming doesn't mean you are lucid, though if you are lucid, you know you are dreaming. Anyway, cool dream.

Awesome dream establish. The whole thing was classic, but my favorite part is that you came away with a title for a book, and rather possible, even down to how the title wasn't negative as it could sound on the face of it. I kind of knew it wasn't meant negatively, so I was glad to hear you vocalize it.
