    1. Supercharged Dreams

      by , 12-26-2012 at 04:51 PM
Based on the results of the night before last, I decided to go a little nuts this time. I originally fell asleep on the couch in the living room before waking up a couple hours or so later. I never have any dreams when that happens, guaranteed, but it does usually count as a mini-WBTB since I have to get up and turn off all the lights around the house and everything. Starting from this point on, every time I woke up I smoked weed before going to bed again, so that all three of my dreams were enhanced by it.

      #1 - A Day In The Life [Non-Lucid]

This dream is a little patchy in my memory because it was kind of long, but I remember near the beginning I was playing Pokémon White Version, except that it was a Game Boy Pocket game and had the old Red/Blue style of carts (except white-colored) and everything. I think N was there, and I had this little chip that I could stick into the cartridge to unlock some kind of debug mode or early designer version of the game or something like that, but I don't remember much about it other than that it was fun to mess around with. My memory skips forward a little and I remember being in some small diner or something in some huge industrial port town with a ship quickly getting closer in the distance through the window behind me and smoke stacks all around the town. I was talking to this guy who I remember not really trusting, but I can't remember what about. He kept telling me to turn around and look through the window (which is how I saw the ship), and I was hesitant to even turn my back to him but I finally did and noticed that there was some gigantic sort of dragon-like monster destroying everything in the distance. And I remember thinking about something in relation to cigarettes as it was destroying the smoke stacks.... But anyway, I decided to use my super hero powers to fight it! I phased through the wall of the building we were in and flew up in the sky above the city. I can't quite recall what it was now, but after doing some quick thinking I was able to deduce what the monster's weak point was and attacked it with some kind of fiery rocket dive bomb move. It was defeated, and then my memory jumps forward again slightly. I was in a room surrounded by my so-called friends all sitting on barracks and laughing at the fact that somehow during all that I had apparently been stripped of my clothes. I found out that they had been left in that room and while I was away all of my friends had taken them and I didn't know which of them were hiding them, so I decided to use my X-ray vision to see which of them had them and then phased through them to grab them. I then phased myself through the wall into a locked room and started putting the clothes back on. And I think that's about where I woke up.

      #2 - There's A First Time For Everything [Non-Lucid]

What came before and after this part of the dream is hazy, but I'm sure this part stands out mainly because of the adrenaline rushes I was getting. >.> I was in a department store with someone else who I can't recall right now, and basically I was in this setup where I was standing at the side of the isles looking inward (where you can see down each one), and beyond the isles there was this big high up balcony visible in the distance where a band was playing. The two of us were being chased by two guys with guns and I decided that I wasn't going to take their shit anymore. I pulled out two pistols myself (which I've never used before, even in dreams) and started unloading on them, but the whole scene was really hectic so we just kept missing each other at first. Finally we got to a point where one of the guys was walking back and forth on the other side of the isles and the other was hiding behind the wall next to the drum player in the band up on the balcony. It took lots of quick thinking and maneuvering, but finally I was able to take out the former, followed closely by the latter as he would peak out to shoot at me. Cue lots of relief, and then I don't really remember much besides being back at high school until I woke up.

      #3 - Just Shapes And Patterns [Non-Lucid]

This one is just odd. I believe I was with R, and we were sitting on the floor in my kitchen next to the refrigerator convinced that we were playing some kind of Super Smash Bros. game, when in fact what we were doing was using green markers to draw trajectories, that our characters were meant to be following, through the air. We also had the ability to purchase large structures made out of, like... those white plastic pipe tube things, and we got one that we were calling a "Mario tower" (it looked vaguely like the Eiffel Tower, actually). As I was drawing more green lines around it, it started occurring to me that I should be hearing some kind of Mario music playing in the background, and it just suddenly kicked in. I couldn't help but notice how incredibly bizarre this all was, and that there were suddenly green words floating in the air around our marks. I stared at one, though I can't remember what it said now, and the edges of it started glowing red slightly as it inflated and become closer and closer to me, but then I woke up.

So yeah, that was certainly an interesting night. Lots of fantasy, action, and trippiness. Now that's what I call a success!
    2. Dreams are the new hallucinogens.

      Alice In Wonderland Syndrome [Non-Lucid]

There was a huge storm raging all night long, so the thunder (and my cat meowing) woke me up occasionally. At one point in the early morning I was pretty awake but I didn't really want to get up for Christmas yet, so I rolled over to the side of the bed and ended up smoking a little bit of weed. I closed my eyes and then started drift off again. In the past, smoking weed with a WBTB-ish has led to some very trippy experiences with non-lucid hypnagogia, but never actually into a dream or OBE as of yet. (Though I have had it happen at the beginning of the night.) This was the first time I really got this far, and it was pretty interesting.

At first there are many indistinguishable voices and other noises running through the background of my mind. These would persist throughout the entire experience. Suddenly, I was in what appeared to be a dorm room, and I believe I perceived it as mine. I wasn't totally sure what was happening, but I noticed a TV sitting on the floor. On it, there was some video game room that was sliding and turning in a very smooth and rendered fashion, it had a very unreal feeling to it which matched exactly the patterned effects I get when seeing a room heavily distort and shift perspective on a hallucinogen. I began to feel as though I was having an out-of-body experience, even though I was just watching this on TV (and strangely, this isn't the first time TV sensations have transferred to me in a wake-induced dream), and I could even feel myself going into third-person camera mode and leaving my body even though none of this was visually happening. I looked over and there was someone there, though I can't remember who now, next to a tray of used dishes and champagne glasses, and in the glasses there were bees flying around. This seemed mildly odd to me, and I remember talking to the person but I can't remember what was said. I still felt quite bizarre and I turned around to find that my perception of reality was becoming very distorted. I felt as if I was sinking into the room while it was simultaneously sinking into me, if that makes any sense. I also had Alice in Wonderland syndrome, where size proportions are not correct. I felt extremely big and like I was trapped in this now very tiny room, and the voices still playing through my mind were starting to make me paranoid. I vaguely remember thinking that my parents were going to be coming into the room and that I wouldn't be able to face them like this, or something along those lines. Not long after, the whole thing fell apart. I continued hearing voices momentarily as I was waking up, and then when I returned to full consciousness they finally faded away.

Bizarre stuff. I'm starting to wonder if the weed is pushing the dream into really trippy territory in the same way it would enhance the effects of a hallucinogenic drug. And if that's the case, I definitely have some more experimenting to do....

    3. Day 0: Lucid Fragment IV, Jello Cubes and Drugs, First Experiment

      by , 06-08-2012 at 12:22 PM
Before falling asleep last night I decided to smoke some medium-grade weed to see if it helped with meditation more than the high-grade weed I've been smoking. The reason for this is because all of the high-grades around here are body highs, which means they have a good THC/CBD ratio rather than the mostly-THC head highs of the medium-grades. Since THC works through CB1 receptors which colocalize with and also indirectly stimulate D2 receptors, I figured this would be a much better bet for achieving a dream state; THC-dominant strains also make me hornier and trip harder in a psychosis kind of way, all evident of dopaminergic effects. The CBD strains have anti-THC action and then add their own serotonergic effects, which is wonderful for getting high and probably even for meditating in a non-dream-related way, but that's not what I'm looking for here. The outcome was pretty successful, I didn't achieve a WILD or OBE or anything because I'm inexperienced and it was right before going to bed originally, but the vibrations did get very strong, I felt warm and tingly all over and I had basically melted into the flat surface of my bed. I also used a light machine the first 10 minutes of it, and that created some pretty intense patterns that were pushing the high into complex visuals like cascading faces. After I finally pulled myself out of that, I fell asleep.

Dream Fragment - "Flying in a jungle with N, commemorative dollar coins with jokes written on them, school/mall food court, Facebook, talking about shared dreaming?"

      Lucid Fragment IV [DILD]

I remember becoming lucid based on the fact that something I said didn't make much sense, but I don't really remember what it was now. This wasn't an "oh no, another lucid lost to a fragment!" dream, I was just really tired when I woke up and I didn't think it was interesting enough to merit taking the effort to write it down. Yeah, I was feeling lazy.

      Jello Cubes And Drugs [Non-Lucid]

In an auditorium, I was in a new class with lots of confusing things going on, and my mom was sitting next to me in some kind of stadium seating. She had stopped talking after some red jello energy cube showed up next to us. I was pretty high and I started playing with it, unsure of what exactly it was. I was also talking to some really drug-dealer-stoner-looking guy about a new powerful drug I was planning to synthesize, and my description was complete with cartoony breakthrough visuals with bugs and galaxies and veins and blood vessels and etc., and I was saying it could basically either make you trip balls or it could kill you, we just don't know yet. The visual was pretty intense! That part of the conversation happened as we were walking through a hallway somewhere after leaving the auditorium, but I can't remember much after that now.

      First Experiment [Sleep Paralysis]

After I woke up I got on DV and checked new threads for probably not longer than five or ten minutes. Upon checking the Post pictures of sexy hawt females thread, it occurred to me that I still hadn't officially reset my counter to zero for the one month of no masturbation challenge, and I was finally in the mood to do so. So that was fun.... Afterwards I thought about how long it had been since I originally woke up, and decided what better than now for a WBTB experiment? I got out my bong and smoked some more of my medium-grade weed, then positioned myself lying on my back in the bed, facing up.

At first I just felt extremely relaxed and zoned out. Then I started getting some mild hypnagogia coupled with delirium, i.e. thinking it was actually happening, but only a little bit. The first thing I remember is repeatedly thinking that I was walking into my bathroom and looking into the mirror, but still being faintly aware that I was really still in bed. There was more than that, but it's hard to remember now. After a while I got lazy and intended on giving up, so I flipped over to my side.

Suddenly, there was a large number of things going on in the room. First, the TV was on, I couldn't see it but I could hear it quite clearly. I don't remember what was being said. Second, my cat was meowing loudly in my room, and I couldn't see him either. Third, my mom was telling me something about my cat which I don't remember now. Same story, heard but not seen. And fourth, I was on DV talking to StaySharp about everything that was happening. Throughout all of this I was aware that this wasn't actually happening, except for the thing about DV. I was able to completely open my eyes and think at least somewhat lucidly. "Okay... I can't move.... So I'm in sleep paralysis? Alright then." With eyes open everything was dreamy and extremely distant, as if it was being perceived but not really processed. I looked at my laptop (which wasn't even actually there) and saw it start floating around the room, shrinking and growing in only one direction as it did so. There was a mild sense of "That's not right....", and then I closed my eyes again. I was back in my bathroom, looking in the mirror. This image wasn't completely solid, it was like 90-95% there, basically enough for it to be a fully structured dream sequence but with me still maintaining bodily awareness. I had a baby carrier positioned on me so that the baby would be in front of me, covering my chest and stomach, but there was no baby in it. Instead, there were two long, feminine, and beautiful legs protruding downward from somewhere in it that's hard to recollect now. I could also hear the voice of my cousin K talking about how I was going to turn into her or something, but I think it might have been more of my train of thought than something that was actually happening. This weirded me out a bit and, without fully comprehending the situation, I decided that I'd had enough of this. I opened my eyes again and just stared at the wall with the intention of ending the whole experience, and before long the dreamy feeling faded away, and I could move again.

I'll certainly be using this weed for more experiments in the future!

    4. Wonderful, Shark Attack

      by , 05-10-2012 at 11:46 AM
This night was rather bizarre. I spent a lot of the night smoking some really strong weed so I unfortunately don't remember as much of it as I would have liked to, but frankly I'm amazed I remember anything at all. Not long before going to bed I took a capsule of valerian root and was smoking an herbal blend that R had put together. It contained calea zacatechichi, blue lotus, wild dagga, baybean, and skullcap. I blame that blend for... this.

      #1 - Wonderful [Non-Lucid]

There was a lot leading up to the end of this dream that I don't remember, but it started out in a large school/fortress somewhere in the middle of a massive mountain range. There were lots of buildings on giant stone platforms that were floating in the sky, with tiny wooden bridges connecting them all. I can't remember exactly how the dream progressed to this next part, but I was controlling a young Link (like in Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time) in third-person perspective like in a game, but I still perceived it as if it was happening to me in first-person. And I was fighting another young Link, like literally he was an exact copy. We were swinging around on strings like Spider-Man and we were just going back and forth sort of in opposing figure eight patterns where we would fight once we approached each other at the center until we got too far away from each other again, and I remember knowing that we each had 2000 life points. I'm not sure what the strings were connected to as they went up above my vision, but we were floating just off of one of the stone platforms with a building on it, but too far away to just land on it again, and we were circling a giant open mouth a good distance below us, but large enough that it still took up a good amount of space in my vision. My perspective was oriented downwards so that I could always see the mouth. Essentially, what we were doing when we fought was throwing bombs and boomerangs at each other, attempting to make the other fall off of their string and into the giant mouth where they would be eaten. It was extremely nerve-wracking the entire time, and I could never seem to land a hit on the little asshole, so eventually I swung my string enough to jump down but miss the mouth and fall waaaaay down on to the ground below it, where I landed in my pool at my house. This part was extremely confusing, but I remember "knowing" that what just happened was a dream (more like random logic that just happened to include that rather than actually being lucid) and thinking to myself that I must be out of the dream now, and there was sort of a fade out effect on my environment, though it just faded into itself, which is hard to describe but was very noticeable at the time. After that I woke up.

      #2 - Shark Attack [Non-Lucid]

There was some long high school dream leading up to this, I remember the guy AB who keeps appearing in my dreams recently being there, but that's about it. The part of the dream I do remember was all in third-person. The whole family from American Dad! was sitting at the end of a laundry shoot-like slide, with their feet hanging over the edge, overlooking some large pool of water. There was something said about a shark, and then I got a view of a gigantic shark sliding down the shoot coming toward them with its mouth open. The family screamed and Stan went up and grabbed the shark and was sliding down with it, and he said something about how it's not allowed to change it's mouth size. The whole family ended up falling into the water with the shark, and while they were underwater I got Stan's perspective. An old man who was essentially a mix of a Chinese martial artist and Jar Jar Binks from episode one of Star Wars (that's honestly the best way I can describe it) floated up to Stan and said "I require your assistance...." I'm pretty sure that man was somewhere in the dream before too, but it's hard to remember now. After that I was woken up by R.
    5. Something New

      by , 04-13-2012 at 09:45 PM
This was first dream I can actually remember that I've had in days, likely due to all the weed brownies. The day leading up to this dream I ate a brownie and a half (I think?) and smoked some in the morning, but then in the evening was only drinking. That's probably why this dream was... the way it is.

      Something New [Non-Lucid]

I was watching something, I have a vague feeling of it being South Park. There was also some talk about The Beatles going on, but just in the background somewhere. Whatever I was watching, it grew and took over my entire perspective, and I shifted into third-person. I was panning my view left over a wall, and everything started taking on deep hues of neon red with twists of golds and purples and some other colors to a lesser extent, and the world started flattening and becoming somewhat cartoonish in an ancient hieroglyphics type of way. Patterns were being drawn and morphing around on the wall, and eventually the wall opened up to reveal an enormous panoramic view of some house from the point of view of what appeared to be one of the living room corners. This created a very bizarre feel to the whole scene, it was simultaneously flat and curved. The panning stops when there's a door to another room directly in front of me. A woman walks through the door and the scenery around her starts rapidly shifting and morphing into various patterns in a sort of rapid-fire flow, and her appearance is frequently changing as well, and she occasionally phases through other objects in her surrounding. The background has taken on sort of a salvia-esque spin and the woman seems to be made of some strangely stacked cardboard-cut-out-like building blocks.... It's really hard to describe, but I saw people that looked to be made out of the same material a long time ago when I mixed diphenhydramine with psilocybin mushrooms. The whole environment is becoming incredibly unstable, and suddenly the scene ends.

False Awakening - I'm driving down the service road of a highway in one of my old cars, and I just look around and for a moment think that that bizarre scene was something I was just thinking about, but then I remember how vividly I experienced it and it occurs to me that I must have been dreaming and now I'm awake. I tried typing up the dream, but then became concerned about the fact that I was apparently sleeping while driving.

False Awakening - I wake up again, still in the car. Now I'm getting really concerned that I'm actually driving while asleep but I can't force myself to wake up. I still take time to try to type up my dream in my phone, but the time is really messing with me. It looks really wonky at first and then keeps changing around randomly. Of course, it doesn't tip me off to anything.

False Awakening - This time I woke up in M's apartment, where I actually did spend the night after we finished drinking. Her big dog gets up and climbs on top of me in a really uncomfortable way and won't get off. I'm again trying to reach my phone to log the dream, but am unsuccessful.

False Awakening - Once again, I woke up in M's apartment. She's already awake and tells me that she's late for work, she has to go "feed the whale". I get up too and tell her I need to go soon, so I probably won't be there when she gets back. After that, I woke up for real, and almost completely forgot the actual dream.

Dream Fragment - This one I don't remember much of, but there was a big texting conversation going on between me, Linkzelda, M, M's boyfriend, N, M's previous boyfriend, and C. (Maybe some other people, too?) It's hard to remember now, but I'm pretty sure I saw part of this dream through my own perspective, part through M's perspective, and part in third-person. The only visual I can really remember now was that M's previous boyfriend was at his house wearing one of those cone-shaped birthday hats and there were balloons tied to a chair behind him.
    6. We're In Heaven

      by , 03-26-2012 at 03:40 PM
      We're In Heaven [Non-Lucid]

The first part of the dream is hard to remember, but I was at my house with just my parents and my mom decided to take ecstasy, and then she started playing DDR in the living room, and I remember one of the songs was "We're In Heaven" by DJ Sammy, which I was listening to all last night.

My mom has never taken ecstasy before and she's not normally as open about drugs with me as my dad is, so I'm pretty surprised by this. I go and tell my dad and he asks her about, but it looks like she didn't actually want him to know. Oops, oh well. :T Around this point my dad turned into N, an old high school friend, and my mom turned into A, the girl that I actually had some feelings for in waking life from my dream not too long ago that I almost got to start fooling around with her in in my room and then people started barging in. >.< For the record, A has never taken ecstasy either. A sits down on the couch in my dad's usual spot and is starting to squirm and writhe a bit, and she's starting to get a pretty goofy euphoric smile on her face. I walked up to her and she motioned to N and said "Does he know?" and I said "Yeah, but don't worry, he's a bigger druggie than you'll ever be." (TOTALLY not true, not even remotely. ) She looks at me in a sort of drunken cocky way and says "No... I'll be bigger." and looks off all pleased with herself. I just laugh and say "You're starting to feel it, huh?" and she says "Yesssss. >w<" and writhes around some more with her eyes closed. At that moment she ripped off all her top clothes and underwear, and just stretched back on the couch. (I think she did it all in one swift movement too, damn that's impressive. ) I lingered for a second then went to tell N that it was starting to kick in. I go out to the kitchen and grab myself a good-sized strawberry, then decide to get one for A too since it'll probably taste amazing right now. She happily takes it and says that she is feeling a little nauseous, but she's still rolling around on the couch seat and acting like a little kid and doesn't seem TOO upset by it. I told her I'd get her a trash can and if she has to puke then just do it and get it over with because the feeling won't come back after that. She smiled at me and I walked off to do that, but then I woke up.

Okay, seriously.... I am getting a ridiculous amount of drug dreams lately.

    7. Return Of The Mall School, Hunted Down, Reconnecting With Old Friends

      by , 02-21-2012 at 06:35 PM
Welp, I had two lucids last night! My recall was kind of crappy because of smoking weed during the day, which I'm definitely taking a break from again because it's negatively effecting my dreaming. :T But I did smoke calea too right before bed and that increased the vividness of what I do remember, so at least there's that. Before falling asleep, I started off the night with some meditation, and I tried to push the idea into my head that I would be lucid and that I was looking for Link, preferably at school. I'm not sure how much progress I made on the latter since there are a few dreams I can't remember at least. :\ But at least the former worked!

#1 - Return Of The Mall School [Non-Lucid]

This one starts out at a mall school, a thing I usually often get in dreams where gigantic malls are interpreted as schools (with individual stores as classrooms and stuff like that), but actually haven't had in quite a while now. I see this one annoying kid from high school walking around and want to avoid him so I go into the bathroom. While I'm there I think I have to pee, but I decide not to. I remember that I'm supposed to be leaving school with M so I walk out and see this girl L and another girl who's hazy in my memory talking about me. I suddenly start sliding on the floor, something which I've noticed I've been doing a lot lately in dreams, like I'll purposefully slide myself on the ground and ride the slide over some really long distance as if it's just some normal thing to do, and I even have good steering during it. So I do that and end up over at Barney from How I Met Your Mother, and I think I became Robin at this point. (And I just realized that we're in a mall, which is funny if you watch the show. ) We just start making jokes and walk out of the mall school and end up at my car, and we get in to drive off but then the dream starts fading and I wake up.

      #2 - Hunted Down [DILD]

This one is rather bizarre. Though some of it seems almost first-person at times, I'm pretty sure the whole thing was actually third-person. So there are these two guys on a plane, and the plane crashes into a cloud (yes, a cloud) that turns out to actually be a mirror that was just floating and reflecting other clouds. Both guys jump out of the plane trying to hit the water below (they're flying over the ocean or something, but there are also lots of glaciers and the like, so maybe around Antarctica?). One of the guys hits the ice too hard though and doesn't make it. The other guy is swimming around in the freezing water and then someone comes down and is scouting for them, which makes the guy think that this was no accident and they were being hunted. So the guy starts acting like he's dead and just floating in the water, and he almost gets away with it but then the scout figures him out, so he jumps out of the water and starts running forward with the guy chasing after him with a gatling gun. Suddenly the scene changes back the mall school's food court, and the scout is firing like crazy but the guy easily dodges it all and people standing around are stunned. Then I think the dream started falling apart because I'm back at home, but still third-person but without anyone to see, my perspective is just quickly bouncing around my living room. I became lucid during this part, which was very odd. I remember thinking something about games in relation to what was going on... but unfortunately that's the least vivid part of the dream in my memory because after that I had a false awakening where I managed to write down every single part leading up to that, then woke up for real and had to write the first part down again out of fear I would forget it so the lucid part became really hazy.

      Must. Start. Doing. RCs.

#3 - Reconnecting With Old Friends [DILD]

This one is practically a fragment, but I did become lucid for it. I remember watching people playing video games in my house, and then I noticed that our old cat Karma was there. She disappeared (died most likely, she was really old) when I was in like second grade I think, and I really missed her. She also seemed younger than I ever saw her and maybe meshed with some properties of Miu, our most recent cat but who also disappeared around a year and a half ago. They really were similar in some ways and my mom frequently accidentally called her Karma. I really felt like they were both there again in this one dream cat and I became lucid when I felt their presence, so I just pet her for a minute and played around with her until something else grabbed my attention and I lost lucidity. I don't really remember what happened after that, but I really enjoyed this dream anyway.

Fragment - Waiting to hang out with J but at my house, though I remember walking up the staircases at his apartment complex....

So that's it for this night. I'm not going to smoke any weed today, so hopefully I'll remember more tonight!
    8. Creating A Troublemaker, The Wall And The Robot, The Car Thief

      by , 02-17-2012 at 06:33 PM
Nothing too insane tonight, though I suppose maybe a little wacky. I smoked some weed yesterday so I guess that's to be expected. I know I had one dream before any of these, but my phone battery was really low and it's acting kind of odd right now, so I wanted to just let it keep charging and never wrote down any notes, so I forgot it.

      #1 - Creating A Troublemaker [Non-Lucid]

I'm in high school and I inadvertently get some guy I don't know as well as this girl S who was in my Chinese class to take ecstasy with me. (I'm not sure what I meant by inadvertently, that part of the dream is hard to remember now, that's just what I have written in my notes. ) We're in a class being taught by my old European History AP teacher. Afterwards the guy and I end up sticking around until everyone's gone and I ask him how he's feeling, he's starting to get a nice strong roll going so we leave and I'm getting him all set up to have a good experience. He wanted to drink a tiny cup (like one of those things you can get for ketchup and mustard at most fast food restaurants) of warm pee, and I was trying to tell him he didn't need to do that as long as he made sure he had lots of water. I got him to try smoking weed too to increase the psychedelic edge to his roll and he started taking massive hits from a joint, like so big that the entire hallway we were in was suddenly filled with a haze of smoke. I had a joint too but I never started taking hits from it. :T Anyway, so this guy is showing off his incomprehensibly iron lungs in the middle of a school hallway, and I'm just saying "Uh, dude.... >.>" (not that I wasn't holding my joint out in the open as well, but at least I wasn't smoking it ) but he keeps walking further and further ahead of me and I get separated from him through the crowd of people walking around. I could tell that all the stoners around were mad that he was smoking weed so openly and blatantly at school, so they decided to go beat the crap out of him. (Not a stonerly plan at all!) So the dream ended with my watching that from the distance without being able to stop it.

#2 - The Wall And The Robot [Non-Lucid]

I was in a new college class on the first day and hoping for some friends to have the same class as me, but in the end they didn't. There was a girl, M, and a guy, J, who I both knew though. I had been wanting to sit at one of the long tables with a friend but since none of them showed up I wasn't sure where to sit, but then I saw that there were individual desks too. M was sitting in one and J had taken the one in front of her, so I went to the one in front of him but the chair there was only half there so I went one further and sat down. I turn around and thank M for making me realize there were desks. She asks why it seems like I never do anything myself, and J and I simultaneously answer that it's because I'm lazy. Then he goes on to talk to her about me texting in class and stuff. I turn around and start contemplating my laziness, but then I notice that our teacher is a... is a... well... like... a gigantic wall of colored squares (from what I recall, mostly blue, green, red, yellow, and orange), and each square is on a bar so they can flip around forward or backward and act independently, but they tend to move in patterns, like waves or symbol designs. My view goes third-person and zooms up to the wall so that I can stay directly above wherever the current pattern is in flipping the squares, so I quickly zoom all over it to follow it, and the wall tells us a story about some robot he knows that's in the hospital, that is apparently not true but one of the conditions of listening to the story is that we have to act like it is. After his story things go back to first-person and he tells us that we have to go visit the robot for him, and we point out that the story wasn't true but then he calls us on breaking the condition. Then, all the squares go flat again, and then several rows of them flip over to reveal a chart that stretches pretty much all the way across the wall. On the bottom of the chart there is a row of names listed sequentially, and he starts reading them off in order slowly and awkwardly, claiming that this whole thing was the robot's name (I think it was mostly an extremely long gibberish first and maybe middle name, followed by the last name Hillary). And then I woke up. o_o

      #3 - The Car Thief [Non-Lucid]

With an old friend, D, I go to my old community college to pick up some food (Subway, I think?). On the way there we were talking about some "Taco Bell girl" who had apparently done something bad at the college and gotten arrested, possibly involving my car. We get there and park by the side of the building right by a bathroom first because I really need to pee, but when we do there are a group of girls from my high school standing there looking strangely at us. I could tell this girl N wanted to get into my car for some reason, and when I had walked far enough away from it she started running toward it, so I ran back to catch her. She started trying to jack it and almost drove off, but I stopped her and she just started digging through all of my stuff. I finally ruined her efforts and she told me she was sure I'd have a trophy from the Taco Bell girl incident or at least my laptop on me or something worth stealing. I pushed her out of the car and D (who had done absolutely nothing to help) and I drove off, talking about how not only did we not get food but I didn't even get to use the bathroom. Suddenly we're back at my house and joking about how we hope next time she doesn't try to brainwash us into handing over our cars or something because I'd be fine (even though I wouldn't because it's my car she wants??) but if they got D they could use his car to bribe me into handing mine over, and then I said "Yes, finally it is mine, hahahaaa. " and we laughed and D says that if I had his car I'd probably put a gigantic tank cannon on top. >.> And that was it lol.
    9. Deliriant Relapse

      by , 02-11-2012 at 08:08 PM
Well, my recall was practically destroyed last night since I smoked too much weed too close to when I went to bed. :T I did wake up and fall asleep early in the morning though, so I managed to get something from that. Other than that, all I really have is this note I wrote down, I don't remember the dream connected to it.

Fragment - Checking DV in the morning, later afraid to ask someone out.

      #1 - Deliriant Relapse

This dream had a very surreal feel to it. I remember that my cousin G was in it, and somehow he and I came to the conclusion that we were having a shared dream (though I wasn't even lucid, kind of disappointing ) and then we started getting ready to go to McDonald's. Then my cousin K, G's little sister, shows up and gives me some really cryptic warning which I don't remember but it tipped me off even more to the surreal feeling. Unfortunately I STILL didn't realize I was dreaming () but I noticed how everything was shifting and inconsistent and incredibly trippy - much more so even than regular dreams - and I started to fear that I was on a deliriant trip. I got really pissed at and disappointed in myself because I thought I had successfully kicked deliriants for good and it started making me really depressed. Fortunately, I woke up not long after that and realized I was just dreaming.

:\ I talked about being in a dream AND explicitly noticed how dreamy and non-reality-like everything was, and I still didn't realize I was in a dreaming. Damn you, subconscious! I mean, I know I've had like three lucids in the past couple days so I don't have a ton of room to complain, but still... I want more. D:

      *sigh*

    10. Lucid Sex Attempt #1, Hard Happies, Best Prison Ever (Part 1), Best Prison Ever (Part 2)

      by , 02-10-2012 at 06:13 PM
Two more lucid dreams!! This was a pretty awesome night of dreams. I smoked some weed a few hours before going to bed and got a pretty happy, energetic high, and I think that carried over into my mood in the dreams, and I'm sure it made them a bit crazier too. The one downside is that it also made the feelings a little more fleeting when I woke up, but at least I still remember them.

      #1 - Lucid Sex Attempt #1

The beginning of the dream is kind of hazy, but I remember being at school and I was a superhero or something, and I met a fan of superheroes. That was an important part of the beginning plot, but where my memory comes in is in a classroom when I suddenly become lucid. There was no stabilization required to make it last a little while, but I kind of wish I had so it'd be a little easier to remember. :T Oh well. I had tons of energy and got to remind myself of how awesome I am at my tried and trusted lucid power, flying. I zoomed around to different classrooms at supersonic speeds spouting nonsense at people because I just felt like acting insane (seriously, I had way too much energy ) I remember flying down a hallway in what I perceived to be the music class area of the school, and I pass a girl whose face I don't see, but I perceive her as Dianeva and I slow myself down and try to look back and see her but she's gone. Since I'm already back on my feet, I decide to walk into the classroom next to me which is in a pretty big open room like it's for Band class or something, but it just has normal tables with people sitting at them. I go up to the front of the room and yell "Who wants to have sex me!?" This one girl in the front row smiles at me so I think "Lol, sure." and leap over on to her. I'm getting ready to do something but then she starts fading away and the dream is becoming blurry. I say "Hell, I'm not wasting my time with you, I forgot that time is of the essence. Who ELSE wants to have sex!?" I look around and see a gigantic, buff, shirtless guy with dreadlocks standing in the back. I run over to him and rip off my clothes and he rips of his, and people gather around us to watch. Ahhh, he got it in and everything, and then RIGHT before he actually started the DREAM ENDED! Oh well, it was a good first attempt.

HI - Quick hypnagogic stuff about being drunk with my aunt and still having tons of energy, then being at a hospital where the image suddenly dissolves in a really trippy way.

      #2 - Hard Happies

This dream was kind of long as well, but I only remember it as one fleeting thing followed by haziness and then the ending. So first I was walking through an airport talking to this guy D about how the planes were all "down" but they were letting them fly again, and then suddenly there was a massive swarm of planes all coming right into the area around us in a way that if it were real life they would have all crashed into each other. Of course, I looked away and it was never mentioned again lol. Then blur.... Then my memory picks up with my having created some kind of department store/house fusion with someone, though I don't remember who. We had made a bunch of "virtual food" and there was a crowd of people there eating it. Suddenly I remember having flown waaaay over the area up into a jungle, of course. I watched a stream of water that looked like it had a raft coming down it, and at that point I became lucid and snapped back to the store/house. (it was mostly just a house now). I heard Minh and Kahn from King of the Hill arguing about getting some Japanese food, and I noticed that everyone in the house was eating some. That made me want to try to find some Chinese food to see how it tasted, so I went looking around the house and the first thing I found was this weird lump of meat that was solid and cold and sort of slimy. I decided against that and went back out to the table. Lily from How I Met Your Mother was one of the people there eating, and the asked me about the "hard happies", which are apparently a type of fruit. They were in slices exactly like orange slices, and they looked exactly like oranges only they were white except for the tip (the innermost part) which had rainbow blotches on it, mostly dominated by cyan, magenta, and yellow though. I picked one up and she said "Hard happy, happy hard. " Yes.... happy hard, I agree. (DCs are awesome. ) I start eating it and it's DELICIOUS! It's also making me super energized again with every bite, to the point that I'm frantically walking around the house like I'm on a load of speed. I finish and grab a regular orange slice next, which also tastes really good. I notice someone sitting down on the ground so I stop to talk to him and try to keep myself calm and centered so the dream won't end, but it does anyway. Oh well, it was fun.

      #3 - Best Prison Ever (Part 1)

I have a hazy memory of being in some boat escape involving German kids, but we get caught out in the middle of the ocean by a bunch of prison ships or something and end up at this weird confinement camp. Apparently, I'm also some kind of cyborg and have been having memory problems, so where I come in next is after we've already been there for a while but my memory of everything that's happened since we got caught was erased from my mind so I had to relearn it all and meet everyone again. I'm sharing a three room suite with my friends J and S who were also caught with me, and I later find out that D (a different D from the last dream) is there as well. I say a suite because despite this being some kind of prison camp it's actually like the happiest place on Earth. One of the first things I do is smoke a cigarette with S and it tastes so unbelievably amazing, so smooth and refreshing, and makes me so exhilarated that I say "Holy crap, this is like weed in tobacco form, it's so great." We go to the food court and there's tons of free food and also a whole grocery store's worth of food that you can buy. I get introduced to everyone again and then go buy myself some black Gushers. When I go back and talk to everyone it turns out I don't even remember how we got caught correctly, and they're about to start explaining it to me but then I wake up. I honestly thought to myself right when I did that I almost wish I could go back, it seemed that awesome at the time. And now I especially can't wait until the day I remember to smoke a cigarette in a lucid.

      #4 - Best Prison Ever (Part 2)

So back in the prison, I start to learn the way the building we're in works. The food court is on the floor above our rooms, and our rooms are on the main floor, but it's not the lowest floor. Each floor has different "rules", even things like weather are different for each. On the main one everything is normal, but it amazes me to find out that below us there's a floor that's totally covered in lava. :O I decided to trek down there through some sort of... well. (That's really the only way I can describe it.) While down there I discover it's really risky and almost don't make it back up, so I decide not to go down there anymore. Next day (I think?) it's snowing outside on the main floor and inside the well, so I want to take this opportunity to get a picture that has both snow and lava in it on my phone. I get right up to the edge of the well to get a good point of view, and some couple comes by and asks me what I'm doing. I tell them and the girlfriend gets all excited and jumps down there. I tried to stop her, but she ends up getting stuck down there and the dream changes to me watching some anime about this happening in third-person perspective. I don't remember much about it except that there was a fight when the boyfriend got mad at another character and that she made it out alright. It zooms out to me being in my house (but it's still registered as the prison) in my parents' bedroom with a bunch of other people who were all watching the anime. I say "Aw, I was kind of hoping one of them died." (A little morbid considering that it was my fault she jumped down there. >.>) I remember to look at my phone and see a picture of R2-D2 from Star Wars, when I had been pretty sure I got a picture of a snowman. Not that I remember that happening, either lol. So I put away my phone and notice that some more of my friends have shown up there. There are old game consoles and Gameboy games with Gamesharks in them spread out all over the bed, and we start discussing how the owners of the prison must have put them there so we can play any game we want and even however we want (normally or cheating). We can't stop thinking about how great this place is... and then the real mindfuck comes. I start to consider that the truth is that I'm dead and this is the afterlife, and that's why it's so amazing and all of my friends keep showing up. O.O Of course, it didn't even occur to me for a second that I might be dreaming. After that I looked at the consoles a little more, then woke up.

So that was quite an interesting night. I'm so happy I got two more lucids, I think that was the first time I ever had two in one night!
