Deep Inside The Lucid Dreamer's Subconscious

I'm in an amusement park with a few of my friends/family. I get on this rollercoaster with my sister. As we're going up the hill I realize I never put my safety bar down. I told her that and she tells me to put it on before we go down the hill. It won't budge so I hold on for dear life as we go through flips and spins.

I remember we had some motive to overthrow the park from the leaders. We were sort of sneaking around when a manager came up to us who sort of looked like the dad of my childhood friend Thomas. I ask him how the kids are but he's onto our scheme to overthrow the park so he suspiciously follows us to the second floor. We tell him we need to go to the bathroom so we sneak into there.

At some point I'm just in this overhead view like rollercoaster tycoon trying to decide which rides to build and then trying to build the paths to the entrances and exits but they're messed up due to the slant of the hills. There were all kinds of rollercoasters and I remember I had accidentally built 3 of the same kind right next to each other.

Another non-lucid I'm back in college at JMU visiting my friend Kyle. I'm in our old apartment in the bathroom but it's some sort of closet. He comes in with my buddy Grayson and they're talking about drinking and smoking weed. He offers me weed but I decline because I didn't want to get messed up at the moment. There are girls with them as well. Chandni was there but wasn't wearing any pants and I couldn't recognize the other girls.

Dream fragment where I'm in my back yard from my old house in the woods. There's a tv there and I think I'm playing mario party with a few other people.

I'm back in high school in the back of the school. There's a girl from my grade who I think is attractive. At some point I'm looking at her instagram and her pictures are very revealing. The back parking lot always has this weird upper platform on the left side next to the soccer field where people are standing on top, I think it's made of wood. I'm eating some sort of fruit roll up thing which I decide to hand off to someone else. I'm walking out of the parking lot towards the football stadium. That area is dark and my surroundings are getting very dark. A vehicle that seemed a little bit evil drove past me and it felt like someone riding in it was staring me down. I had a blanket or cloak around me so I wrap it tighter around my head and body.

Dream fragment about how I'm back in high school. I'm in show choir trying to remember the dance moves for our show. I ask my teacher what my schedule is but he doesn't know. I go to my computer science teacher and talk to her. We go to the lunch room. I remember I'm talking to her, and for some reason she was very overweight in the dream. As we're talking, I see other students looking at me. Her and I are laughing about something. She goes and sits down next to another overweight gentleman. I sit down at a table next to some guys I'm not really friends with. I look around and see my friend Alseny. I sit down in front of him and ask him how he's been.

Fragment where I'm on some sort of flying platform with a group of people. We are flying above a lake that has a city around it. There's floating docks with disney characters on them. I remember someone was pointing out the different disney exhibits on each different floating island. There were people swimming in the water up to the docks to go to the exhibits and townhouses on docks surrounding them. At some point we flew down and joined an exhibit with cannons shooting fire.

Different location where I'm at a beach house with people from my childhood. I'm up on the second floor with some old man telling me things that will happen while we're lying in bed. I look up and see an old man and I feel that I'm working at a spa. The man starts to pleasure himself as myself and the workers are yelling at him to stop. I wake up out of bed and the old man is telling me that was going to happen.

At some point I'm downstairs at the pool of the house. I see my friend and during conversation I say something like "I told you so Chappy." I see my childhood friend's dad named Frank and another dad so I greet them. We have small talk. Jaden Smith is there and whatever he is performing is just awful. I'm jumping in and out of the pool.

The dream interrupts. I realize that I'm in sleep paralysis and am sort of thrown off. I didn't expect this to happen. Usually when sleep paralysis happens I sort of see it coming and then get hit by it, but this was instant. I'm lying in my sister's bed at home. There is not a door right in front of the bed IRL but in my actual room there is so in the sleep paralysis I imagine one. As soon as I imagine it I know where this is heading. As the door appears I close my eyes. I hear it slam open. I can feel my body flinch into my bed although I could not move. I try to throw myself upwards but nothing budges. My imagination brings someone into the room. I know who it is, it's Pennywise the dancing clown. My eyes are closed. I feel the vibration as he walks up to the bed. His deep voice speaks at me from my right. He says "I told you not to say this Grey." I can feel that when he says that, he moves very close to me. I become very calm as I want him to come closer.

I wake up not wanting to go back to bed.

I was at a casino resort for a long time. I don't remember much of the beginning of what I was doing there, but I know I was downstairs in the lobby moving around. I jumped outside to the back where the was lazy river which I jumped into. I was in there with some of my friends, I think JP was there, as we tried to swim against the current. The current was too quick so I jumped out to the right closer to the casino. I walk back into the casino and go into a hallway. I was following this group of people into a large and dark space. They had a dog with them. Come to think of it, there were a lot of dogs in this casino walking around. I eventually get upstairs to the second floor. The middle of the floor was open and around the outside were rooms were people were outside partying. I walk past this group of college kids. Some come up to me and ask me for their advice. They tell me that there's a kid sleeping on the couch in their room and they wanted to switch rooms so that the quiet people are downstairs and the kids partying are upstairs. I open my mouth to give them some advice but I look at one of the guys who's giving me this look that is telling me not to say anything. I decide not to say anything as I walk away. My walking starts to get very difficult, like my right leg was wrapped around my left. Eventually I get to my room. As I walk up I decide to jump forward, slamming into a huge window that shatters. I freak out and go into my room. I think maybe my mom was there with me. I ask her if there's a hottub downstairs and she says "yes."

I was at an amusement park called "Kings Dominion" with my mom dad sisters friends and a girl from my uni named Judy. I believe it may have been my birthday because they kept asking me what I wanted to do. At some point we all get separated and I'm back at the front of the park with my friend Moo. He tells me where each person is at and doing. My vision changes from location to location seeing my friends and family on these rides. I see my friends Grayson and Sam on this bouncy house thing that has water and a lot of dirt/straw. I walk around the park in the dream. I remember waiting in line for this really huge roller coaster.

I'm at some pizza place with my family and friends on a vacation. Everyone has decided what they want but I can't make up my mind. I've already ordered a pepperoni slice with no sauce on it. My mom asks me if that's really what I want. My aunt Ameigh is raving on about some combo deal of chicken alfredo pizza. I ask the person waiting on us how much the chicken alfredo is and she says that it'll be $10,000 for a big pizza and $10.99 for a medium slice. I tell her to show me the back so we can negotiate a pizza deal. I jump behind the bar and follow her back to this massive warehouse full of uncooked pizzas with a bunch of people there. I'm looking around and I'm seeing people licking and touching on all of the pizzas which was disgusting. She walks me back towards the bar where I see an chicken alfredo pizza on the ground which she says is mine. I look at it and it has some sort of sex toy and other liquids on the pizza which makes me decide I won't accept the pizza. It was so bizarre and surprising.

From the pizza place we travel very close to a beach. My aunt Heather is there with her family and there's a bunch of random strangers I don't recognize. There's particularly a bunch of kids around the age of 10-15 with us on this vacation. We're playing in the ocean, jumping through waves. I keep trying to tell my friend Moo the story about the pizza place but he kept interrupting me. At some point fireworks are shooting off in the distance and everyone's focusing on that. Out in the distance of the ocean is a boat that's playing James Taylor. Everyone was sitting down watching fireworks but once they heard the music they get up and start to dance. I remember thinking it was crazy how these kids are getting up and dancing to someone as old as James Taylor but it was nice, I was dancing too.

I come to remember the dream as being near the coast at this house. Bam Margera and his crew are there doing stupid things, driving cars out of control, doing drugs, etc. I'm looking at my phone trying to get an uber. My father says that he will pick me up, but then leaves as I'm looking confused at my uber app. The car was there, and now it's gone. Another one might come for me, but it never does.

At some point I'm shifting locations on a geographical level, heading over to a city. There, I come into a building that has two guys in an office on the first level looking at a computer. I go up the stairs to see there are a lot of desks with interns at them. I am an intern at this large accounting firm and it's my first day. Everyone is very nervous. There are two separate managers who come up to our level and yell at us to get to work. This was a nightmare for me. It was very scary because I remember thinking that if I fucked up, they'd fire me on the spot. Our task is to look at a list of foods and then determine how much of whatever is in each food. We're frantically scribbling things on the page like we're taking a test of some sort. I remember writing things like "1x eggs, 2x milk." I didn't know the exact answer but I would write things down anyways. One of the interns starts to pack up her things. She gets to leave at 3pm because she says she is done. She is wearing a prom dress and saying that she's going to a dance. I start to work on my test again when a huge commotion happens outside. I go outside to see the girl in the dress getting aggressively shoved into a cop car by a cop. The two managers are outside looking mean. We're all forced back inside as they yell at us.

I remember thinking that I would take a vacation at this point. My view is shifted high to a geographical level as I'm trying to decide which place to vacation at. There's a water park in the south and a water park in the north. The southern water park has a bigger outside area and the northern water park has some water areas that aren't for leisure and then some crazy water slides next to each other. I can't decide which one I want to go to because I remember I'm not from the area. I ask one of my fellow interns who's my friend IRL named Irene where she wants to go. I told her that it would be more fun if we went together so that we'd know someone there.

I'm at my friend Mason's house. He has a very open yard with some huge trees dangling down branches. I want to fly. At first, I cannot get off the ground. I start to spring up, thinking that I will do a double jump like Mario and the third jump will get me off the ground. It works. I'm levitating about 20 yards in the air, and then I'm flying very high into the sky. It's day time and the sky is a dreamy blue. I remember there were more trees than IRL with branches getting in my way. I'm very high up into the sky now, looking down and thinking that I might fall to the ground, but I don't. I'm simply up there, levitating maybe 100 yards from the ground now. I get caught up in the dream and forget that I'm the dreamer. The branches start to entangle me as I return back to the dream, coaching myself to remember that this is a dream. But it fades.

I'm at a football/baseball game at a new college that I do not recognize. There are 50,000+ in the stands cheering for this game. I remember I'm in the lower section of the stands taking a video on my phone of the game and the crowd chanting.

Went to bed at 5AM and woke up at 3:40PM.

From what I remember, I was at some sort of camp. We're up very high in the trees with ziplines and our harnesses attached to wires. My mom is there. I'm trying to transfer myself over to another wire but the clips aren't working. There's an old man in the trees with me who I recognize from my pool who is trying to help me.

I wake up. I start to sleep again trying to go back to the trees.

I'm dreaming I'm back at college on this place called Devon Lane. There's townhouses with decks next to each other. I look over to the left and there's a fraternity and sorority next to each other talking on decks. The house I'm at has a bunch of my fraternity brothers out and about drinking and hanging out. I remember it felt like I had just woken up, but it looked like it was pretty much night time. People keep talking about how it looks like it's night time but it's only 2PM. It looks kinda like the sun is setting. I see my friend JP opening a beer. I ask if anyone wants to split a case of beer and three younger brothers on chairs jump up and come with me. We're walking up the street to the gas station. There's a pool to the left of us that we recognize some people at. We walk in and my friend Ali is there at the end of the pool, or someone who kinda looks like him. There's kids jumping like 30 feet in the air and then diving into the shallow pool but they're fine. I start to walk back to the door when I pass a girl in a white shirt. As I turn around, I see it's Dana. Someone asks me who she is and why we don't date anymore and I tell them a lie saying that she cheated on me. I wish I could have talked to her.

I walk outside of the gate and pass my childhood friend's mom Dorris and a posse of people including this famous girl that used to be in my friend group in high school. I tell someone that. Then, everyone in the dream starts to tell us to look up at the sky. The sky to the right is incredible, there's these really colorful and elaborate shapes in the sky moving in some sort of pattern, and they change every 10 seconds or so. People are getting their phones out and I get my phone out as well, changing the patterns with some sort of filter I have. I remember feeling like the world was going to end in this dream, like things were starting to align and everything felt so right in that moment. It was all making sense, the sky was acting up that day, someone famous was in town for some reason, the girl I had wronged in the past was there for me to forgive. And I was okay with the world ending in that moment.

I'm suddenly in this view of different regrets in my life coming before me. People I didn't like would come up, and I would simply just tell myself that I didn't care anymore and let the grudge go. Dana came into view, and I apologized and washed that regret away. Dirty things were appearing and I was just forgetting them from my life. I felt this high that I only get while in dreams. I felt like my body was floating upwards and I was telling God to take me away and I had tears coming out of my eyes.

And then I was paralyzed and couldn't move. Those dirty things were there with me in this small space, and I was struggling to move. In that moment, I started to take on the form of my friend Kolby. Then I jerked myself awake.

My alarm was set for 1:15.

I had a false awakening where I went from under my covers and changed the alarm to 1:30.

At some point I awaken into the moment where my body is going back to bed but my mind stays awake. I get that amazing high feeling of this in-between. I enjoy it for a second and then decide I'm going to ride this transition into a lucid. I think "okay you are going to try to float up from your body" and then try to do this, but it does not happen. I think that maybe I'm going to float up and imagine a girl that I can be with in my room.

I'm at Firefly music festival. It's the Wednesday night for the early camping and I'm with a group of my friends. I ask if there's a show, knowing there's a show. A friend tells me "yes" being surprised, and then says that it's a rock band and most of Firefly will be rock music. We walk down a path as I can see a stage with a rock band performing in the distance. My friend Allyson B. tells me that rock is better because she's done acid and seen a lot of rock, to which I reply that I've done a lot of molly for electric music and it's been great. We walk up to 3 huge guys and the one in the middle smiles at me. He lifts my hat up to check what's under it, and then I wake up.

The dream scene was this giant beach with different rock cliffs on the outside. The left side was mostly rolling fields and the right was a big cliff. There are rock cliffs in the water and on the sand as well. I believe that I'm in some sort of summer camp like Rockbridge that I've been to in the past. There are cabins in the fields and kids are in there for free time. Kolby is there hanging out with some other people walking around. I remember thinking I didn't fit in with them. At some point, a younger girl and guy come up to me and say my name to me which startled me but we sort of laugh. Then they're on the beach with me doing whatever. Someone tells me that the boy is cute looking but a douche. There's this rope that I'm holding onto which is attached to the middle of the sky and swinging me around the entire map. I'm swinging and spinning around the beach and around the cliffs.
On the right is the cliffs made up of separate rocks. It must be 100 yards or more high. I'm climbing up with some friends and people are falling off. There's a group of older moms there for some competition at the top and they are telling me to leave but I'm trying to hold on. I'm afraid I'm going to fall off.
At some point I'm in a gas station that I think is a McDonald's. Two of my fraternity brothers are there and I ask them to make me a frappe but then I feel bad making them do that so I just say I'll get coffee somewhere else.
Another dream I'm in these hallways with a group of guys. The point is that there are girls trying to freak us out, like a haunted house. At the end of the dream there's a girl from my high school named Bridgette tickling me.
False awakening, my friend Mason is in my college bedroom. He asks me if I've told my dad about his recent grandfather's passing and I tell him that I don't talk to my dad much, to which he replies with something about being born by him which confuses me. I get into the shower and he's trying to mess with me.

Off and on sleep at around 11am, when I noticed my body was very sleepy and I knew I was about to go into either SP or a lucid. So, I thought to myself 'okay let's go lucid' as my body started to feel that numbing high feeling that comes with lucid sometimes. I needed to create a dream scene, so I decided on the skydiving example that I've used in the past. For a moment, I could see the open door of a plane and blue sky out of it, but then that faded quickly. I tried to imagine another scene. For some reason, a girls face appeared in front of my view. She was blue and had darker hair, I couldn't make out any of the details in her face but I've seen her before, probably in the same way as last time, coming into a lucid.

The girl's face fades away, and now I appear in my room from Mechanicsville, except the bed is against my window looking at the wall. The first thing I notice is my hands. I flip them over a couple of times. I notice that the room is very dark, so I shout "illuminate!" but nothing happens. I can sort of tell that the dream is collapsing, so I tell myself "no" and start rubbing my hands together. I can feel friction, and the dream stabilizes. Next, I look up at the ceiling fan and shout "illuminate!" again, and this time the room flickers and then lights up. I celebrate to myself and then decide I was going to go look at myself in the mirror because the image is fucked up in dreams. So I walk into the hallway and into the bathroom. There, I see myself in the reflection, except it's like I'm in a carnival fun house or something where the mirrors distort how you're shaped. I get up close and see my face is all smooshed together and I laugh. Then, I remember that IRL I wrote an "A" on my left hand for the "awake" reality check. I looked down at my left hand and see that where there was an "A", there was just a semi-circle with some lines coming off of it. Then, I noticed under that symbol the words "A MOOSE OWWES" written in red pen. This confuses me one because I thought that people couldn't read in lucid dreams and two that sentence doesn't make any sense at all.

After that, I walk downstairs but halfway through need to take a seat because the dream is collapsing. I rub my hands again and shout "illuminate." I can hear my mom yelling at me from the kitchen. She's telling me that I'm going to distract my sister who is sitting at our counter doing some sort of puzzle. I walk past them and then the dream collapsed.

I don't really have much to say about this lucid.

I was walking in this passageway with bushes to the right of me and a hill into forest to the left of me. I realized this was a dream. I started to run and look at my hands becoming lucid. The dream turned into a realistic reality. The dream started to shake. I shouted "ILLUMINATE" and the dream flickered. I shouted it again and the dream stabilized. I decided I wanted to fly. I remember I was thinking about how people can't fly in their dreams if they doubt themselves so I believed I was going to be able to do it and then I started to fly forwards. I flew into the blue sky forwards with the field under me. Eventually I turned around and fly in the other direction. I was so amazed by the view, I thought it was so real. At the end of the lucid I started to float up into space and saw the earth underneath me.

And then I woke up.

This past summer I went solo backpacking in Thailand. This dream takes place there.

The lower level is this oval shaped blue lake. The entire dreamscape is like a mountain, this is near the bottom. On the left side is this giant whirlpool that people are looking at and possibly throwing things into.

I remember the feeling of coming home and seeing my friends. Near the top part of the mountain are these waterslides made out of off-white tubing. I was walking up a path to go down one of them. Someone told me that the one I was going to go down was gross but I go down it anyways. It starts in a hill and then starts to wind very jaggedly. The tubing is a dirty brown color under me.

I rode through several different water slides before trying to find my friends. I get down towards the bottom level near the whirlpool where I see my friends and a bunch of adults from my neighborhood. It seemed sort of like a party. My friends and I reunite and we talk about missing each other and I'm using curse words which piss off one of my religious friends. I think maybe we went down the waterslides together or something of that nature.

Then, I was on this giant ferry thing trying to decide if I should go to the mainland or stay on this island which I thought was Pai, IRL Pai is just a small city on the mainland so that doesn't make any sense. I had a motorbike with me. I decide I was going to stay when the boat starts to take off. I try to get off but can't.

I couldn't really get to sleep last night until about 5 and had to wake up at 8:30 so not much dreaming occurred.

Frag: I'm in some sort of area with my father, an open space with dirt or concrete floors, open sky, sort of like a junk yard. We were running around. I do remember Pennywise the Clown from IT was there with us jumping around to different locations. There was like an overhanging stage thing that was sort of dark. I wasn't really afraid of Pennywise personally but it did seem like a darker dream.

Semi-Lucid: So I went back to my house after class to take a nap. Eventually, I was right on the edge of sleep and awake. My body started to get that really high feeling from edging on the line of dreaming and awake, my whole body feeling it. I started to hear music in my ears, but as it got clearer my ears would suddenly buzz and hurt. That cycle happened a couple of times. After that, I tried to get out of my body. So I was trying to float up and then trying to sink down. My dream body ended up rolling backwards off of my bed towards my closet, hitting the ground. I then started to look at my hands and say "woah" before I went back into another dream.

Frag: Something to do with a giant pirate themed place, walking on wooden rickety bridges, ships in various locations.

Frag: Over at this playground which is lakeview playground IRL, there with a group of people my age. We're on the playground and then on the other side of a chain crossed fence. I was talking to a girl named X and now I had my arm around Dana talking about something, I could see X behind Dana glaring at her jealous.

I'm in a class group in some sort of mansion that doesn't really contain any walls. The teacher is asking us to pair up so I'm looking around at people, everyone seems to be getting partners but I'm all alone. The teacher asks where Hayden T is and I check my phone to see he texted me telling me he wasn't going to class. It appears to me that I'm sorta in a Mario game, specifically Super Mario 64 in the castle level where you slide down the red carpet. On the opposite side of where you'd go to the carpet is a staircase which leads to blackness on some sides except the middle which has a swirling portal kinda like an instance portal from WoW and maybe some boosting portals before it. We start to go down the other side and the path is not a red carpet but a snowy slope. I'm still looking around for a partner when I see Hayden behind us. Everyone in the class group is now sliding down this snowy slope. I'm sliding on my butt up small hills and off of jumps, grabbing onto overhanging tree branches to do tricks, trying to impress the teacher and landing perfectly down sloping angles so it doesn't hurt. My alarm wakes me up while I'm mid-air.
