So we got a new home in this dream and it ce with a small house in the yard which I set up as a pet house for the kids. I flooded a room with water somehow and put fish in it.

When I came back I could not approach the small house from one side because the was a giant pit filled with water in the middle of the path. So I went around the small house to the door on the other side.

First thing I noticed was a fish gasping for air in a room without an water. I realized that the kids must have opened the door to the aquarium room and the water must have all gotten out carrying the fish with it all over the place.

There was another room that had a hamster that belonged to the boys' cousin B, and strangely the hamster was fine and not killed by the flood. I did not question why the hamster lived here even though the cousin in waking life lives out of state.

I tried to figure out how to redo the water for fish so it would stay in one room, so the fish would be safe (and kids and hamster). Strangely the solution of using an actual aquari did not occur to me. I started thinking about the option of an indoor pond.
