In this dream my husband and I had two small dogs, but no kids - at least none present in the dream. We took the two dogs to the park and they ran and got very muddy. I was worried because we were about to go somewhere and leave the dogs at a friends so would need to clean the dogs. I looked for them but could not find them, so asked my husband, where are the dogs? He said I should get them from next to the McDonalds. I thought that was weird that he left them there. I went to get the dogs. Only once I got there did I discover that there was a pet grooming service there. The dogs looked much cleaner but much less happy than when they were muddy. I didn't know how to pick the dogs up though because I had not expected to have to pay, and had left my money at home.

Contractors we work with in waking life came from the west coast to help us solve some issue. Then there was an important meeting scheduled - it seemed like more than a meeting - and we expected a female contractor from same organization to show up, but she did not. So we called her. Turned out she was planning to come in a week instead. We were not sure whether this was due to her lack of confidence in her coworkers ability to resolve the issue on time, which was a prerequisite for her part of the job; or whether she was always scheduled to come in a week, but we got confused because of the emergency scheduling of her coworkers visit; or whether she got confused and booked her flight for the wrong week. Note: in waking life, she is out on maternity leave. In this dream there was another coworker of hers supposedly, who was visiting, and he was in the room with me when we called her. She heard his voice, so she asked him as part of the conversation whether they had resolved the issue, and he said yes. His last name got mentioned, and if I remember right it was the name of a street I passed two days ago when I was heading to or from a meeting that did indeed in waking life include some coworkers of this woman who had come in from west coast for this meeting. However, none of them were like this nonexistent guy with the last name of the street.

In my dream fragment, I recall I dreamed that the fact that my older son's teacher had said that he is doing well in math (true in waking life) was actually hiding the fact that he is in a remedial math class, so he is doing well in the group of students who have trouble with math (not true in waking life).
