non-lucid

1. Kazemaru and Hiroto (from Inazuma Eleven) lying on their backs fully clothed in a made-up bed. It was kind of like they were on stage, you could ‘feel’ the audience’s assumption, but when the characters open their mouth and say something deadpan, it turns into a comedy when you realize what’s going in, and everyone laughs.

2. I thiiink the setting was like in a cave on slab-like beds and maybe it was in a game. We were ‘watching’ some Saw-like horror movie. When I saw a character holding a device that cut out tongues (looked like a tongue cleaner), I had to bury my head under something. I remember at one point I ‘swam’ through the tunnels. I think I realized there was no water, and that’s when some seemed to appear to carry me. That’s when it seemed like in a game somehow.

3. Rane came in while I was on the computer, asking for help. I scrolled through an area in Firefox like ‘Group Your Tabs’, only I was scrolling through my tab pages like a picture slideshow. I was trying to find a ‘safe’ page to open and leave it on. Near the beginning, I passed by a page thumbnail showing a chest-up hentai girl with orange hair. I remember thinking that how would Rane know that was one of my pages, I could be anywhere on the net and it could be someone else’s content.

~Dipping a finger in creamer and tracing it around text on a yellow sticky note. Rane says “you’re weird”. I realize that I had used my dad’s French vanilla creamer instead of my own.

I walk into a new room and realize that mom is the one who needed the help. She wanted me to get her some corn, and ‘milk instead of water’ (or the other way around).

1. I was in a part of a neighborhood of where I used to live about ten years ago IWL, I’d only been there once or twice. I’m walking away from a house, and suddenly slow down to take in things around me. Things come more into focus. I look down beside the sidewalk and see some yellow(?) and purple tulips growing.

2. About a strange family. In one room, two people are having sex. The one on top kisses the other, who freezes. The one on top thinks it’s because they don’t like it, but it’s actually because they were surprised by it, because the top one apparently had a hangup about kissing? Something about shark teeth??

Someone is outside the door spying through some opening on the door.

Something about a little boy.

3. I find some manga on the bottom of one of mom’s bookshelves and wonder what they’re doing there, since she doesn’t read them. Except that they’re longer, wider and thinner than manga. At least one of them was Sailor Moon, and there were four I think. I take them out and away, after scooping a few other bits up into my arms to leave. There was a yellow card and a white paper?

Notes: Soo I wonder if my practicing awareness is why I slowed down in #1 and focused? :O The shark teeth in #2 could come from Rin in Free!.

Standing behind the van talking to a girl about World of Warcraft. I keep rewinding the scene to fix things. I’m inside the van and realizing the back isn’t latched shut, Mom tells me what to do. I reach back carefully and press the small black latch in (like the ones to hang things on). Mom wasn’t concerned, she was going to leave it open.

Inside someone (Sarah’s?) house, something about a bag of half-cooked popcorn (the popcorn was inlaid into the bag) and another bag, I take it with me but worry about burning it since I don’t know how long it had already cooked for. It looks burnt already.

I ask for a pill and go to the bathroom. I take it, but there’s another pill left on my tongue, it’s half of a pink pill.

I think I’m being kept contained. I think something about Loki (The Avengers).

Notes: Really cool bit when I kept rewinding the scene, I think I remember thinking of it as ‘going back in time’, but in the dream or IWL?

1. Rane throwing longer than usual and burgundy-colored packets of taco sauce at me. We were in a car? A girl from outside was throwing me some (maybe the right kind? I like Mild orange packets).

2. I’m looking at a collection of coins. There were Supernatural ones with Dean, Sam and Castiel on them. One coin was worth ‘122’. I wondered what guys thought of these coins.

3. False awakening where I go downstairs and see mom on the couch. I’m confused about what time it is and look at the clock, which says something like 10:59. I realize that it’s still nighttime and go back to bed.

~Outside, a woman with short, cropped brown hair is between two arguing men. A third one comes along and pulls her off, and puts her in the trunk of a car. The first guy muses that she was ‘asked, not told’ to leave with him (so maybe it was willingly). I think maybe the kidnapper was her husband? A nearby woman hears her and sneaks in the back. She had shoulder-length wavy brown hair. She talks quietly to someone on a phone(?) about what’s happening, almost in an I’m-a-cop way.

~In a hospital, a woman with dark hair in a ponytail is talking to the lady from the trunk.

~The name ‘Jim’ on a cart and something about two dogs. An African-American nurse lies about knowing him. She had marked on his chart ‘-50’. (I feel like he must have been the kidnapper,)

~A song plays in my head like in a medical show drama. I recall the lyrics ‘you’re not something dying’. It sounded like the band ‘The Fray’. Actually the way the lyrics were sung reminds me of Our Lady Peace’s lyrics from the title ‘I’m Not Made of Steel’,

Notes: Ugh my dreams were so confusing last night, and I know I woke up multiple times. I think I need to focus on getting proper sleep for a bit instead of waking up during the night to type up dreams. Also, I can’t remember if I had an FA before, but wow, that was weird. It wasn’t very vivid though.

1. I walk up to a big light-brown bag and scare the shit out of the people in it. Similar to this in size (but still bigger).

Apparently it’s a vehicle. I had gathered a sack of BL manga to read while in the ‘vehicle’. They were bigger and heavier than normal. I sit them on the floor inside the door. Melly is there and shows me some candy she brought. Twizzlers was one. I brought some too and lay them out. One was really long multicolored Twizzlers (red and green), one was small twist Twizzlers. The multicolored ones were half and half and the red and green blended into each other in the middle where they met, and they were almost translucent.

We’re waiting for a horror movie villain (think Michael Myers). I see in my head like a movie scene the figure standing on the road. He’s walking funny as if injured, and I see a car pass by him as if they’d run into him.

Inspiration: I got a bag of Twizzers a couple of days ago. Horror movie thing probably inspired by Friday 13th.

2. I hold my breath as a vehicle with a bad guy in it passes me by. The lady inside with blond-hair just past her ears smirks at me. I remember her, she’s a woman ‘I’ helped in a hospital when I was a doctor and some crisis was happening. She fell down the stairs and I rushed down to help her while everyone else was just trying to get away. “Look at me.” I urged her, checking to see if she had a head injury. Her hair was longer and in a pony then.

She turned out to be a stalker.

3. In a school (TTU)? Brought Sarah clothes, she was feeling down about something so we didn’t think she’d join in on what was going on (others were wearing them too). But she appears wearing jeans and a purple sweater with writing on it. We’re happy and walk out of the building, me quietly singing a song.

Mom is already getting in the car when we step out, and I burst into song, ‘Reflection’ from Mulan. Sarah stares. As we get in the car, she compliments me and says she gives the performance a four. I say something about how I love to sing when the weather is like that (‘windy’).

“Who is that girl I see
staring straight back at me
when will my reflection
show who I am inside?”

(I sing the last world as I get into the car.)

4. As I was getting up for the day, I saw my mini flashlight by the laptop and remembered something that happened. At some point during the night, I crawled across the bed and over to my desk, scrabbling around on it until I found the flashlight. By then, I realized that I had dreamed that there was a big spider in my bed. By then I already had the flashlight so I checked for ease of mind. x_x

It’s really weird when I react to something in a dream in WL. I think last time this happened, I walked over and got a sweater from somewhere, put it up on my bed with me and went back to sleep, lol. No wait, I think the last time was me coming to to find myself standing up on my bed…

Notes: Woke up half an hour early again. Two songs with dreams, seems like listening to music before bed might be the cause. :3 Also, one of my dream goals I’m trying to remember for if I go lucid is to sing a song (not ‘Reflection’ though!). I can’t do that IWL because we live in an apartment and I have a high voice.

1. I’m at a library flipping through a thick, floppy book. I stop when I see an entry on No.6 (with a chest-up picture of anime!Shion). Apparently it’s some sort of reference book.



There were notes by people written on the back(?) of the book. Two said, in the same handwriting and not far from each other, ‘No.6 season 2’. I show it to the person with me, who is apparently grumpy. I don’t think I ever actually see this person.

‘I miss you nanna.’ Was another of the messages. There were a few similar dedications with a word starting with ‘n’ in it.

We try to find the publish date at the beginning because we’re wondering why No.6 is in the book so soon. It says 2008.

I’m watching an anime I’ve never seen before and am unfamiliar with IWL. I feel and hear a guy behind me telling a girl that I’m watching an anime and he’s going on about it, it’s distracting. (I don’t think it was actually anime though, the style was off.)

I went to turn the TV off but couldn’t find the button. Actually, there was one labeled OFF but the person with me, told me that that wasn’t it. It turned out to be a square black button on the bottom right on an inlaid panel.

~I look up at the TV and think how, since I’m not watching it, I may as well turn it off. But I look back and see a bunch of people, and think that since the TV is so loud, turning it off will make the silence really thick.

2. A woman hanging out with her family, then goes to pick up a boy waiting grumpily in a van. She looks mid-age with shoulder length auburn hair.

Inspiration: I meant to look up up my old lucids from 2008 and thought about it before bed. No.6 actually came out in 2011. Besides seeing No.6 posts on my Tumblr dash often, I listened to the anime opening/ending last night before bed.

‘We’ were being held hostage by some guys. We were lining up Mexican dishes (refried beans being one) on the back of a couch (or was it the porch?).

There was a room in the house with cats and dogs, I thought it surprising that they were getting along.

For some reason I was allowed to go outside. I walked through heavy rain until I reached a waiting group of young people (17-20).

Inspiration: Mom threw away some leftover refried beans yesterday.

Notes: I’m fascinated by the ‘heavy rain’ thing, this is the second time. I wish I could actually feel the water and temperature of it. Maybe it’s something I can work on in a lucid dream. I wonder if I should put ‘food’ as a dream sign since it’s become a common theme in my dreams.

I’m racing Rane around the yard of grandma’s house. I’m going really fast, it’s so fun. At one point I really push myself and feel the strain. On the fourth lap, I see she’s not far behind me so I concentrate really hard on getting to the end mark.

I remember seeing a bunch of vivid green leaves on the trees on the left on one lap.

-Lost a dream due to not realizing I was awake. I got a glimpse but lost it before I could try and coax it out. :/

Inspiration: Rane was over last night until late. Can’t believe I didn’t have ‘running’ as a goal already since I love it so much IWL.

Edit: Just this could have come from Cheetu from Hunter x Hunter since I had just seen an episode with him, and I had added running like him as a goal recently.

Notes: I stayed up an hour late hanging out with my besty since it was her birthday. It’s probably when I’m really tired, but I noticed that sometimes I won’t realize that I’m awake and going through my dream in my head until the memories start fading. Sucks!

I joined the Intro Class yesterday evening, and am going to be working on the DILD technique for a while. :3

The order of events in this dream were a bit confusing.

I’m in ‘my room’ with mom looking at an article in a paper. It’s about The Lord of the Rings. I see two little pictures in circle shapes of Dominic Monaghan and Billy Boyd with ‘DomDom’ written underneath.

Mom is drawing a line down 3/4 of a page and ripping it out of a book. I say something (to dad?) about not being able to put it up on PaperBackSwap now.

I’m eating a red popsicle. Something about Dino from Katekyo Hitman Reborn!…

Dad comes to get a book from me. I get upset.

Mom (wherever she is) says something like “I told you that we weren’t keeping it!”

It turns into a screaming match.

“Fuck you!”

Me: “I hate you!”

Mom: I hate you too!”

Me: “Fine!”

I spit out the popsicle piece in my mouth and throw it at the open crack in the door at mom.

I start packing my bags to leave.

Notes: Woke up 30 minutes early. I really hate dreams like this, they linger on in RL. @_@ I guess ‘screaming matches with mom’ may as well be a dream sign by now. At times like these I feel lucky that I rarely actually experience the emotions in the dream.

1. I’m in a building (store?) looking for someone. When I find her, I realize the woman has dyed her (poofy) hair blond (it was red before). Apparently it was to match someone/thing.

In this room, there’s a cute little wild kitten. Maybe a guy too?

2. At my cousin Davon’s house. There two bugs, one tiny one (like a gnat) and a bigger one, we’re supposed to be taking care of them for something, and I’m carefully walking to somewhere with them on my hand.

Notes: I did well waking up enough to type stuff up! And I had more dreams than I have in a bit, so that was nice.

1. I’m trying to park the van at Walmart and mom is getting on to me so much because I’m doing a bad job of it (running over the curb/grass). She mentions someone who does the same thing.

I go to my room and hide in the corner beside my dresser and against my closet door. I’m picking at a white rope that’s tacked into a hole in the corner of the dresser. Mom comes into my room and tries to cheer me up but I won’t have it.

2. Seeing Melly up on a balcony (apartment-style) with a golden retriever.

Inspiration: I believeee this could come from a Shingeki no Kyojin post on Tumblr where someone posted what everyone’s breed would be as dogs, and one of them was a golden retriever but I can’t remember who!

3. Kingdom Hearts II. Roxas reminded Axel of someone (there was like a faint image in his mind), and hesitated to bring their relationship to another level because of the past. Axel tells Roxas about it and cups his cheek (I clearly saw Axel’s face around this time, otherwise it was mostly faint). I think they were on a boat?

Inspiration: Read a volume of KH2 recently and had looked up some AkuRoku things on Tumblr.

4. Talking to Pillywiggin about the most popular dream tags. I’m looking through a list on a program with a black background, but it has subcategories so it’s hard to find/sort them. ‘bindsbinding’ or something was a tag. I remember various numbers in parenthesis beside each tag group name, one was 274?

Inspiration: Before bed, I meant to look at the tag cloud on DV to see what the most used tags were.

Wednesday: Angel wings on someone, a wolf (me?)

-A man gets in water to heal, but apparently there’s some (light gray) stain left over that a woman points out on his chest. He thinks it may just be a stain on his shirt, but when he lifts up the shirt, the imprint is on his body too.

He’s at home and wondering how to tell his family.

-Someone (me?) is drawing in pen. They lean back and see that it’s a picture of Kabeyama (from Inazuma Eleven), but he’s a bit off on one side.

-A girl (possibly Ella) in a house talking (to me?).

Note: Still fixing my sleep schedule, so I’m tired lately and my recall/productivity is suffering.

1. I’m modeling and I look in a sideways full-length mirror hanging on a wall. My hair is long and brown, and I’m wearing overalls. I’m supposed to be modeling as a guy, so I’m not wearing a shirt underneath and don’t have breasts. I believe I had a conversation with someone before this.

There’s a box with a smaller black cat in it, and the cat is my best friend Pillywiggin. She was using her powers to turn a different color and to blend in to the box.

I remember leaning back against some pillows on a bed at some point, and there was mom’s heart-shaped pillow.

2. Cupping water in my hand and freezing it with the F8 key (after trying out other keys). I held up a chunk of ice and was showing it to someone.

Inspiration: 1) I was looking at some old pics of myself this week. I used to have long, brown hair in one of them. Bed/pillow comes from my reading on my mom’s bed every night.

Notes: I managed to get to sleep a bit earlier than usual but woke up early again. Since I am worried about oversleeping, I’ve been subtly shifting my schedule to wake up an hour earlier. Today was a tiring day so I know I’ll get to sleep pretty fast.

1. Impression of a boy who might have actually been a girl + something to do with soccer, and two bulleted lists

2. I ran out of my grandma’s house to escape from a scary dark-clothed shorter man. I’m running down her gravel driveway as he comes out the door. The scene jumps into one of me running down a road in heavy rain, I can barely see where I’m going. I believe it was dark out.

3. I’m in a big jacuzzi-like bathtub, my dad is off to the left. I think it must have been on a TV, but I’m seeing a scene of Xena and Gabrielle from Xena: Warrior Princess making out/as lovers.

4. I have to pee but I can’t go downstairs because the bottom steps are blocked off by a curtain because we’re bombing for bugs downstairs. Apparently the bathroom up here didn’t exist in the dream, because mom says I’ll have to use that one - she points to a bathroom squeezed in in the space between at the top of the stairs and mom’s cabinet.

I pull the doors (there were two) closed, but then realize I left the way to the stairs open, so I push the outer door back open (even though it doesn’t really block the way well). I’m sitting on the toilet but there is no door anymore. Mom looks in and I get really upset. I run to my room nearly in tears, slam the door (it doesn’t work right as usual, so I pull up on the handle as I do because it’s messed up) and throw shoes at the door.

Inspiration: #2) No idea but it was scary! Although the rain part was interesting, such heavy rain! #3) I get the feeling I saw something about Xena in the last few months, but before that I hadn’t thought of it in a while. #4) We sprayed for roaches this morning. I woke up at 6:40 before the spraying and went back to sleep so the dream came after that. Come to think of it, that’s the longest dream I’ve had taking place in a house I currently live in.

Notes: I had a hard time getting to sleep and woke up multiple unrestful times. x_x Just realized all the dreams but one involved water… I did sorta have to go when I woke up but not that bad. Hm.

I’m down an isle at Walmart looking at these colored square boxes with cloth covering (x) on a shelf. Before I saw them, I’d been looking at some other shape. The boxes have voices coming out of them, spewing phrases. The label on the blue one (that seemed a more purple color before) has a paper for it that says the voice is Uchiha Sasuke in bold.

My sister, Rane, was talking to a person at a nearby checkout desk about a faulty fancy lamp with several small lighbulbs (at least six). I was tweaking them, trying to get them to work, and the lights kept flickering at different levels, but none of them very brightly. There was another smaller lamp nearby that she could alternatively get, but she wanted the bigger one.

Two girls down the box isle ask me to call their mom to come there because they want to buy two necklaces. I gather the pieces on them in my hand - they’re flat, colorful gems with metal working around the edge. One is bigger than the other and I wonder if the other girl won’t be jealous, but neither one seems dissatisfied.

I call the number the girls give me (had a 7 in it). A woman answers but doesn’t seem to be their mom.

“Does a woman and two kids live there? I’m looking for a…” I look to the girls while covering the speaker. “What’s your mom’s last name?”

They tell me - it has some l’s (like four) in it at the beginning and end.

“Okay, I can’t pronounce that.” I try anyway over the phone.

The woman says, “You mean Becky L____? She’s next door helping out.” Apparently with a rummage sale?

I tell her the situation and she goes to get her. I hear her tell someone in the background, “I gotta go get my roomie.”

Inspiration: Was feeling nostalgic for Naruto yesterday and had read some comments about Sasuke’s attitude after the latest chapter. Phone call probably comes from a previous dream. So many store dreams… Come to think of it, I get food money in a few days and have been desperate for it for a while. Foooood, need it.

Notes: I woke up once before with some recall, but shirked it in favor of sleep.
