    Texas Tornado To Be

A nonlucid, plagued with obvious dream signs.

I don't remember the onset of this dream, but it seems I was dropped into a story, where I was at my parents' house. I was dressed as a geisha, and my parents had managed to come up with 3 suitors for me for possible marriage one night. I know, geishas don't marry, but this is lame lily white American geisha apparently. My outfit was beautiful though. It looked like a traditional geisha costume/uniform(?). Also, the entire ensemble was made from gold silk peu de sois. I saw my reflection once in the reflection of the bay window in my old bedroom. And my hair looked like this:

So the suitors. One was Octavio, a baker I used to work with, who looked confused as fuck to be here at this, "suitor competition." The second was Cheech Marin (thanks, mom). And I don't remember the 3rd, but I remember he was also Hispanic. Not that any of this matters to me, I married a man from Venezuela irl. I have no idea why suddenly I was a geisha, betrothed to one of 3 Hispanic men. At any rate, the entire party was stopped short, because a horrible storm began. In the sky, there was a giant patch of gray and black clouds, pouring rain and forming the usual wall clouds. We all remarked at how they would probably form into tornadoes. Then I noticed, in the center of the cloud mass, the shape of Texas, only it was backwards. I rationalized it like this: the storm was aiming for Texas. And from the storm's point of view, the shape of Texas wasn't backwards. It only appeared backwards to us because we were in front of the oncoming storm. Then suddenly we were all in front of my house instead of my parents', and my mom yelled at me "Where's Chris?!" I noticed he was standing under the mimosa, completely drenched from rain water. It was as if the only rain cloud was over him and the tree. I took him inside and it became the interior of my parent's house again. And his baby shoes were all over the floor. I remarked how cute and nostalgic this all was.

Read a couple of your dreams, and I like them ... very interesting. I'm going to have to try one of these lucid dream challenges!

Somehow, I think I'm gonna like it here!
