I’m sitting towards the front of a coach bus with a smaller group of unfamiliar others. Sitting on the right side, i watch as the bus starts to tilt to the right. At first it almost seems as if it’s just settling, but then the lean intensifies, and I can feel tension arise. It hesitates and then unavoidably completes the lean, tossing us out of our seats as it crashes down on its side. After it’s over, I think it’s not as bad as it could’ve been. Everyone is walking away, just shaken. The driver, a lanky older man, walks away completely, looking embarrassed, which I find cowardly. Now Melissa is here and we’re going through the luggage we have. I notice that I’ve completely forgotten a toiletries bag.

I’m in a house with Melissa (it feels like our house in the dream and looks nothing like our house in reality). I’m in what feels like the living room, which feels like a big open room with a single-level pagoda built into it. It extends up to the high ceiling, its own roof just below? There are some hanging plants on the structure - in mostly ceramic pots - and Melissa has taken them down, I think without intending to return them. I liked how they looked, but I think they were the previous owner’s.

I am outside at an apartment complex with Melissa and Stella (It looks pretty similar to the Lakes complex). It seems dark out, yet well lit with all the patio lights. We’re on a narrow, straight alley of grass between two buildings. Stella has pooped and I don’t have a bag on me, but I see a station straight away at the end of this grass alley. We start to go there when a door right behind us starts to open. A dog on a leash and then a man step out. Stella doesn’t freak out, but is slightly standoffish. We let them interact and soon they are starting to play. We praise and pet her.

I’m in what looks like Dad’s neighborhood with Melissa. We are walking Stella down towards Brown School. A person walking a small dog passes by and Stella does not react. We comment on this to each other. Now, we are going into the school. I think that it’s my childhood school. We walk through the hallways - it seems to have one main square of hallways - and I thought we’d be alone because school isn’t in, but there’s a group of kids in here. They seem to be some kind of program. We pass by a few different large rooms in search of the library. I think I’m planning on taking a book home. I don’t think we ever find it, but we end up walking past a lady or two, each holding up a few books. Others are here, walking past, grabbing a book as they do. Ben from work is here and grabs a Don DeLillo before I can. I thought the one I grabbed was also DeLillo, but I look at it and it’s a book of medium to longer length by an Indian author. I think it might be fun to read it without knowing anything about it.

I’m doing something in the kitchen of some house when Makayla gently interrupts me to get me to make some art for some CD cases for her. The first one is just a paper slip case, but there are a couple jewel cases too. I notice at least one of them is a Tool CD. I wanted to be doing what I was doing, but now I don’t mind doing this. I cut two long strips about 1 ½ inches wide that I’m going to set vertically about 2 inches apart on the first cover.

Melisa and I have moved into a new house (I’m not sure if there’s any concept of our current house or not). I’m in what seems to be a bedroom - the place feels small, like rooms blend together. I’m up on the bed, which is level with a window. It overlooks a gravel lot. There is a parked, dark gray truck and 1-2 other cars. There’s also a house across the way, though I think I don’t actually ever see it. I do know that we feel like the neighbor, Mike, is watching us. He sits in the front seat of the truck, reclining slightly as if he’s napping, but I catch him looking through this window a few times. I use a pair of binoculars and quickly lower them when we make eye contact through them. We think that he could just be wanting to meet us, since he hasn’t yet. Now, a lady sets out a stack of six packs of Sierra Nevada Summerfest with a sign that says 2 for $10 (I think it’s referring to cans). Another guy (another neighbor, I think) appears and grabs a beer with the other guy. I think that they are coming over to meet me.
