    1. 08/20/10 My 4th Lucid Dream: Familiar? maybe.

      by , 08-22-2010 at 01:06 AM (Sydney's Nightly Adventures)
This lucid dream was really close to my 3rd one. I think my LDs are starting to get more frequent now. I am so excited!

      Some notes about the dream:
FOR THE 4TH TIME! This dream seemed like a normal dream, but I felt some of it, and I remember feeling the RC. Again, I didn't have COMPLETE control over my actions. This seems to always happen in my lucid dreams. Isn't it true that DILDs aren't as vivid as MILDs or WILDs?
      Anyways, here it is.

I was walking down a familiar street in our downtown. I remember it like I WAS lucid from the beginning. I thought to myself, "Well, this is weird. I thought I was asleep..?" So just to make sure it was a dream, I RCed. I was dreaming! I love the way plugged nose breathing feels. Like I said, some control. The dream was a little blurry too. Since I fell back asleep after I dreamed this and I was too lazy to write in my DJ, I can't recall the second part of my lucid dream.

I'm not sure if I tried to fly or not, but I went over to what was supposedly, my friend Mike's house.
I think I teleported or something. I can't remember. I remember being in the back of his house. I tried to remember my dream goals, but I couldn't. I simply didn't know what to do, so I decided that I'd walk around. (See, it's things like this that your not prepared for!)
I saw Mike's pool. To me it looked almost like a hot tub. Well, it was as small as one. I saw Mike and some other people, but I don't really remember them.

I turned around, and I saw this gigantic swimming pool. It could have been 14 feet deep. Um.. I guess to show off; I tried to fly. I closed my eyes, jumped up, flapped my arms; and to my disappointment I was still on the ground. I guess I just didn't believe. So I closed my eyes again, really believe I could fly, jumped up, then flapped my arms. I opened my eyes and felt myself hovering.. sort of. I was about 3-4 feet in the air. And as far as I could tell, I was gliding towards the pool.

I glided towards the water and splashed in (almost like a goose, lol). I felt the water and saw all the droplets like it was in slow motion, beautiful. This moment was also embarrassing. I think I got out of the pool, but I wasn't so sure. Just to check to see if I was still lucid, I did another RC. Ahh. It felt great. I wasn't so sure on what to do next, so I started spinning. I reckoned I would start fresh from a different place. But it didn't work. I must've needed to close my eyes or something.
I can't recall what I did after this, but there was another whole half of the dream that I had forgotten.

    2. My First False Awakening and my 3rd lucid! And my other dreams..

      by , 08-18-2010 at 11:01 PM (Sydney's Nightly Adventures)
I am so excited to share this with you, even though it was really short. :/ But here's my 3rd lucid: *giggle*

Now, before the series of dreams and then my FA, I had woken up and decided to WBTB. I just went to the bathroom though. Then I laid back down, and tried to think of nothing. My mind kept wandering off but I tried to keep as many thoughts as I could out of my head. It kept going on like this until I fell asleep I think, when I had the dreams. At the end of the dream before my FA, I saw an iPad that didn't look like one far away. I looked closer and it had the cover of my phone around it. It was a red cover. So I sorta thought to myself. "Hmm..this is weird.. do you think maybe i could be dreaming?" Then the dream ended. That's when I had the FA.

ONCE AGAIN, this dream was hardly controllable. I really didn't feel like I was in it, I just remember feeling the RC. All of my LDs so far i have had little controllability (if that's a word) and little feelingness.

      ANYWAYS...

I woke up in my bed, It was really dark except for the dim light on in the bathroom. Like I was taught, I did a reality check to (just in case it did happen) catch a false awakening. As soon as I plugged my nose and breathed in I thought, "Holy crap I'm dreaming! I've never had an FA before!" After this, for some reason I started daydreaming about Taylor Lautner with blonde hair, lol. And once again, I was scared that I would see something scary around the corner, or that something would pop up freaky, or that I would be just plain afraid. I don't know why. I guess it's just because anything can happen in a dream. And to my bad luck, my alarm rang. I woke up with a start. I was happy that I got lucid for the third time, but not happy it ended so quickly. stupid alarm!

I'll post the dreams I had last night in the "MILD Class Dream Entries" post. Thank you for reading DV members!

    3. My First Lucid Dream

      by , 07-05-2010 at 08:48 PM (Sydney's Nightly Adventures)
I am so very excited to share this!
But anyways, there was also a small dream before it, and I will share that too.

      July 3-4, 2010.

I'm not sure if this one I was lucid or not, but I don't think that I was lucid.

My cousin, her friend and I came to a place with a lot of food, and I think we were supposed to feed someone. Later on, my cuz and her friend got into a fight about something stupid. I shouted, "Don't do this! You guys are supposed to be friends." My cousin's "friend" came up to me and siad, "Fine then." She put her arm around me. "let's be friends." She added. I can't remember what happpened, but they had to leave. My cousin hung her bracelet on some lady's necklace. "Remember." She said. Waved, then walked out. I somehow appeared in their car; it was littered with all sorts of junk.

      My First Lucid Dream:

(Some things in here were not mentioned, for the dream was so long)

I was sitting on the ground outside my house. I was unaware of where I was. I guess I remembered that I was at my dad's house, not my mom's. So just to be sure, I thought it was a dream, I pinched my nose, and breathed in. I'm dreaming! It was the most amazing feeling. I did a couple more, then pinched myself. I didn't feel anything!

Unlike some first LD's, mine did not end. I got excited, but I remembered to calm down. I had so many thoughts swirling around in my head of what to do next. So I just decided to walk around and examine my dreamscape. I walked to where the garage was supposed to be, but it wasn't there. There was a LOT of weird looking animals, I can't exactly explain that scene. I tried to fly; first by jumping up and flapping my arms. I went up in the air for a minute, then fell back down. I tried again, but to no avail. I just stood there for a second and watched a human bird thing pass by. I walked away and went through the front door of "my house".

Inside looked like a giant attic. It had like a brown theme to it. My mom, sister, and brother was there. I told my sister, "Guess what! I'm dreaming." She didn't really believe me. So I said, "You know you're asleep, right?" She was like, "Really?" She was just kinda sitting there in a daze. So I talked to my mother and told her that this was a dream. She wasn't very surprised though. She said something like, "Oh that's great honey."

I forgot to stabilize, so I rubbed my hands together but nothing really changed. Then I wanted to run away so I could shout "clarity now!" out loud. But I just stayed where I was and said it in my mind. After that, lines of vividness and color splashed across the dream scape. It was amazing.

Then I stepped outside. The sky was so amazingly beautiful, it was indescribable. The country of the USA was outlined in red (what was really ironic was that the 4th of July was the next day) in the sky. The sun was behind it too so that it was shining in rays. The clouds were amazing as well. All of a sudden; the world just tilted or the gravity tilted slantwards, like that new movie which I can't remember the name of. I ran inside, and everyone was wondering what was going on. Then, my brother wanted to go fishing. We "clicked" on the door Sims style and pressed "fish all week". Then we popped up in a small brown cabin. All of a sudden, the dream switched to...

I don't know how I got there, but I was still lucid. I wanted to try telekinesis. So I ran up to a girl, focused really hard, then she started floating. Then she was thrown into a pool. Then I woke up.

I really found that dream ironic; for the 4th of July feel.
I hope I have more LDs to come.
