    1. My bed really is a magnet... (DILD) 8/1/15

      by , 08-01-2015 at 03:13 PM (Sydney's Nightly Adventures)

I remember laying in my bed at my dad's house. By the white light coming from the window in front of me, I could tell that it was morning. I also noticed something else in front of me. A black shape. It looked like a silhouette because of the light behind it. However, it did look like a person.

The thing talked. It was my brother. I did a nose plug RC just to make sure I wasn't dreaming. At first, I didn't realize it. But I had breathed like it was nothing. I was dreaming!
I was now aware that Sam was in my other sister's bed beside me. She was awake, talking to my brother.

I had to keep myself calm. "This is a dream." I said to myself out loud.
I tried to get up out of my bed, but, it was as if there was a hundred pound weight on my chest. I could barely move one way or the other. I didn't want to try too hard, either, for fear of "breaking" the dream.

So I tried to through expectation. I looked over to Sam, however, I could barely see her because my fixed neck wouldn't allow me to look that far. "Sam," I said, "I can get up out of bed, right?"

I saw her look over at me, "Uh, yeah." she said with a snort.

I tried to get up, but to no avail. I was glued to the bed. I tried again.

"Sam, I can get up, right?" I said with more force.

      "Yes!" she hissed.

I tried again. I was actually able to get up this time, but very, very slowly. I also found myself unable to lift up my head at all. It was as if I looked down at my navel and my neck became fixed in that position.

Frustration overcame me as I slowly made my way around the bed. Suddenly, it felt like something was pulling me back towards the bed, like a magnet. I tried to escape it, but within a split second, I found myself back in my bed in the same position.

"I am DREAMING." I said a little louder. "I have control!"

I flicked my eyes over to my brother, who was still, creepily, standing in my doorway.

"Hey, can you help me get up?" I asked.

I saw him move a little, but he didn't come near me. I sighed. I tried to think of something that I could use to almost "gravitate" my body towards. For some reason I thought of my computer charger. It seemed to work, and I was suddenly beside my bed with the charger in my hand. However, one of the ends was snapped off, revealing open wire.

I don't know why, but an urge overcame me to put it in my mouth. I did, and a small electric shock coursed through my body that started in my tongue. It scared me at first, but I wanted to try again. I did, and held it for longer. It was a very weak electric shock that tingled my tongue, and I could almost imagine the individual currents that were running throughout my mouth and down my spine.

I tried to take a step forward, but suddenly, I found myself back in my own bed again. I silently cursed. I had to do something even more rough to get myself out of this predicament, but I didn't want to end the dream entirely by doing it.

While I was still thinking about it, the dream ended.

    2. Teleportation (DILD) 7/20/15

      by , 07-20-2015 at 09:36 PM (Sydney's Nightly Adventures)

This was a HUGE dream. When I woke up, I just remembered the last half, and then slowly, bits of the first half came back. But I can't promise that I remembered everything.

      - - -

I was at my mom's house. I think I was in my bedroom first. My mom was doing some sort of renovation project, where she was removing a little "hallway" to my desk, and just making that whole wall even. She also added an extra, large window in my room. I could hear the workers still working on the outside of the walls outside. I remember being surprised once I walked into the room. I had an extra window! Awesome! More natural light!

The scene shifted. I was now out on the back porch. A lot of people were there, from my little brother's age to my age or older, whom I didn't know barely any. We were apparently having some sort of party. There was at least 40 people there, either on the back deck, in the living room, or in the basement.

I don't remember performing an RC. Well, I do remember the sensation, and seeing my hand clutch my nose, but I don't remember exactly when I did it.
I was still on the back porch. Not completely and totally lucid, but I was somewhat aware. I remember I think someone was being rude to me. Some guy... I lifted my hands up, above my head, and "pushed" my hands back down like I was pushing some invisible force. As I was thinking of it, small droplets of rain began to drop around this guy. I looked up. The rain was only happening a little bit above his head, and no farther up. Like his own little rainstorm.

I turned to my left. I could see over the deck fence over to where a main road should be. About 10 people were around me. Suddenly, the sky got a darkish grey. Flashes of cloud-to-ground forked lightning happened several miles away, over and over. The first time, the lightning was a light purple. The next time, it flashed a bright yellow. Then, a bright red.. I remember hearing myself say, "Oooh, that's pretty..."

Suddenly, in the lightning's place, a huge tornado was forming. Too fast. It was already a cyclone. I could see it heading for the house. It had just overtaken a house that was about a quarter mile away. Forgetting that this was a dream entirely and that I should have just stood my ground, I ducked inside the house and hurtled myself towards the basement.

There were several people down here, but some I specifically remember were these two boys watching something on a small TV that was on the ground. I looked closer at what they were watching. It was some old black and white show.

I think my lucidity dipped here, but I regained most of it when I found myself in a small city that looked like a town over, but a lot less cars driving around. I remember standing partly on the asphalt road. I wasn't the only one walking. There were several people around that were walking, standing, or pushing carts.

I looked up to my left. I could see the road went up a large hill, and blocked everything on the other side. I decided to walk up the hill and see what I could see. First, though, I remember stomping the ground, to try to get some of my senses to fully function. I felt like I was on autopilot, though. I then dropped to the ground and felt the road beneath me. I think I tried to crawl, or I just layed on the road.

I finally went walking up the hill. I got to the top, and I could see a Walmart on my right. I thought I would walk in to see if I could find some candy.

Time moved forward. I was inside. I think I saw E in there, walking around. I remember walking down random aisles, mainly in the bottom left corner of Walmart, looking for candy. But all I was seeing was hardware, and fishing stuff, and other things. I was walking down another random aisle when I decided to stomp my feet again. The pressure of my feet hitting the floor kind of hurt; the force vibrated up my calves. I kneeled down to the floor again, but this time, only to examine it. However, while I was crouched there, I remember thinking how I felt like I wanted to "go to sleep" or like I was sleep deprived. I couldn't shake this feeling, no matter how alert I tried to make myself. I still felt like a zombie.

I walked forward a bit, reached my hand out to a lower shelf, and closed my eyes. I imagined to myself that my hand was about to touch a small box filled with something chocolatey. Sure enough, my fingers brushed against something. I opened my eyes. A small orange box of Reese's minis was lying there. I got excited. I picked them up, ripped the top open, and gorged myself. They weren't bad, but then again, I wasn't really focusing on the taste.. as I was trying to find what next to do.

Another dip happened in my lucidity and now I was in a small shop. J and her roommate were both standing beside me. We were all looking around at things. I remember seeing a stand close to the checkout counter that had decks of cards in it. I thought to myself, "I do need a deck of cards, I've never owned one before." But then I reasoned, "Hang on, this is a dream. I can't take this back (but I wish I could)." So I tore my eyes from the display and walked out the door with J and her roommate.

We were walking down the opposite way of the road I had been on much earlier. We came to a kind of deserted, graffitied building. Sam and my little brother were with me now. We all walked in, and found two guys in there, rolling on the floor or something.

They laughed and walked out. I realized that this was just a bathroom. The walls were also graffitied in here as well, and the main wall paint was black. I walked into one of the larger stalls and looked around. A small light bulb hung over everything.

We were back outside. We walked to a gravel/rock parking lot that was beside the building. I wanted to go somewhere else. I had never tried teleportation before, so I thought it would be cool to try.

Using expectation with the dream characters/people around me (Sam, my brother, J, and her friend), I remember looking around and grabbing a semi-smooth stone that was about half the size of my hand if I had made it into a fist.

"Guys, look.." I said. "This is a summoning rock."

I don't know why I called it that. I showed it to them. They were a little surprised by it and thought it was cool. I tried to etch something into the rock with my finger by expectation, so as to make it seem more.. "symbolic". I silently thought to myself that I could. The top of the rocks surface was then able to be chipped away like a half-baked cookie. I etched a small cross into the top of it with my fingernail.

I held it in my hand. I wasn't sure how we were all supposed to teleport there at once, but I decided that if I believed we could, then we could. I told everyone to get into a circle, and all hold hands. We all did. "I guess I put the summoning rock into my hand.." I muttered. "And hold yours.." I said to, I think it was, Sam.

Now, we were all linked. I closed my eyes and shouted, "To Hogwarts!" That was the first thing that came out of my mouth. I didn't even plan to go there, I just wanted to go somewhere.

We "appeared" in what looked like the Great Hall without any tables or chairs. I could see a much larger Hagrid standing beside a weak-looking Dumbledore like a guard. Dumbledore was seated in a throne-like chair. Hagrid was not happy to see us.

      Then I woke up.

Note: At one point during this dream, I remember using the spell "Incendio" with just my hands, on someone. I didn't have a wand. This resulted in a small flamethrower-like fire coming out of my fingertips.

    3. Another FA (DILD) 7/16/15

      by , 07-16-2015 at 12:46 PM (Sydney's Nightly Adventures)

I remember being in my room at my mom's house. My older sister was asleep on my bed, while Sam was under my bed (the bed was slightly taller) on her laptop. I walked into my bathroom. My sister had woken up and followed me in there. "I'm about to take a nap." she told me.

She then made to go back into my room, but then I became annoyed. "Go to sleep in your bed.." I growled. She gave me a pissy look. I looked on the floor. Percy, my bearded dragon, was looking up at me.

Suddenly, I wasn't in the dream anymore. I was back in my bed.

'This had happened to me last night,' I thought. 'I woke up from a very short dream and I had a false awakening. Maybe it's happening again. Nah, maybe not...'

I was laying on my side with my left arm under the pillow. I heard my family downstairs, talking low; 'probably getting ready for breakfast,' I thought.

'That can't be right, though. my step mom has work, and my brother wouldn't be up at this time...'

I slipped my hand up through the covers, clasped my nose, and breathed in just to make sure.

Sure enough, it was like my fingers weren't even there.

Before I moved, I remembered where I was. 'You're in a dream. Hang on..' I tried to prop myself up on my elbow, but was having a very difficult time doing so, like I was stuck to my bed by a very large wad of chewing gum. So I tried to take it slowly. I still had my 'eye mask' on, and I didn't move to take it off yet. I remember feeling the coolness of my pillow as I was trying to get my arm out from under it.

I reached out my right arm with much difficulty, and felt for my bedside table. The cool corner of the table brushed my fingertips. At first, I was grabbing on for support, but then I just placed my hand fully on it, trying to ground myself and increase my sense of touch. To test it, I wanted to see if I could 'break' the corner with expectation, but before I could finish expecting it,
I was back in my regular bed in RL.

    4. An FA from a WILD (DILD 7/15/15)

      by , 07-16-2015 at 12:44 PM (Sydney's Nightly Adventures)

I remember I was doing my WILD technique, when suddenly I found myself in my bedroom at my dad's house, sleeping in my sister's bed. Sam called my name. She sounded close. I grunted in reply, because I was "asleep," doing my WILD attempt. She threw something at me on the bed. I opened my eyes and looked at it. It was her phone. A message was open on it that was a conversation between her, my mom, and some guy that wanted a dog [that we didn't have]. I read the messages for a moment, then I found myself back doing my WILD attempt again, in my bed at my mom's house (where I started). A couple seconds passed. I realized where I had just "been."

'Dang, I was just dreaming.' I thought.

About a minute passed. I could feel slight vibrations in my body, and, now that I think about it, I didn't really feel anything at all. I almost felt "wide awake."

I heard thunder roll outside my window, and rain began to pick up. I wondered what time it was. Then I heard my sister and my brother come into my room. They were talking about the storm, "It's starting again." I heard my sister say. I wondered why they were in my room, but my main curiosity was about the thunder and rain. Were we under a thunderstorm or tornado warning? I decided to call this WILD attempt a bust. I sat up, and RCed just in case.
I almost knew it before I even did the RC. Sure enough, I was in a false awakening. I tried to control my emotions and actions, but they had already begun to take over me, and I started to rush like I normally do in my lucid dreams. I was ripping my sleep mask off and getting off my slightly larger bed before I told myself that I need to stabilize and remember where I am. I stopped myself moving with MUCH difficulty. I was excited. I could see a little bit of white light coming through my window.

"Okay," I said out loud, to myself. I closed my eyes (which was probably a mistake) for a second, then opened them again. "You are in a dream right now. You can do anything..." But before I could finish grounding myself, the desires of myself started to take over. I walked over to my bedside table and tried to turn on my lamp. But of course it didn't work. I almost told it to light itself, but something else occured to me. I realized I was halfway hunched over, staring at a stuffed animal on my bed. It had a frightened look. I realized what was making me hunched over was my hair. It weighed a good 10 pounds on top of my head, and was all in front of my face. I tried to move it out of the way, but it would barely budge.

So I said, "Hair, UP!" Suddenly, my hair began twisting around to the back of my head. I felt around for my hair. Sure enough, it was "up", like the direction. I don't know what was holding it up. And then I added, "like in a ponytail..." Then, my hair began twisting itself all around and formed its own crude ponytail holder. It felt a little loose and I could see that it was bumpy in my mirror that was now very close to my bed. I then said, "Erase bumps."
But I didn't get to see what would happen, because, before I knew it, I was back in RL, in my bed, still doing my WILD attempt. My chest felt hot. My heart was pounding. 'This can't be good to feel.' I thought. I tried to stabilize my breathing and focus on the lucid dream I had just exited. But, to no avail. I decided I should probably get up and record the dream, anyway.

    5. First Day At College (DILD) 7/2/15

      by , 07-02-2015 at 01:29 PM (Sydney's Nightly Adventures)

We had just arrived at our college, and our first day of classes would be held the next day. I remember walking through what looked like a small town inside the campus, with a giant jumbotron reminding us about our first day of classes that would take place the next day.

The scene shifted. I was now in what seemed like a large dorm building, but it was only one floor, and there could be three or four people to a room. The kitchen was in the middle of the whole dorm. We had our own bathrooms, though.

I shared an open dorm (it wasn't fully closed off with four walls) with J, L, and Sam. I remember we were all sitting on our beds, which were side by side and across from eachother, watching the little TV that was perched on the wall to the left. L was sitting on my bed, which was the closest to the TV. Somehow, I kept hitting her in the face with my elbow or my hand. She quietly just shrugged it off. I felt really bad, so I didn't move around or talk much anymore.

      Time went forward.

I had just woken up in my bed and looked at the clock, it was about 6 AM. Everyone was starting to stir around me. I thought I had better get up, because classes were going to start soon.

But my heart sank. I didn't have a map or anything, and I didn't even have my class schedule printed out.

Sam was awake. I asked her if she had a map. She told me she didn't either. I then remembered my dad saying something about using your GPS for the campus. I assumed that could work, so I didn't worry about it further. However, I was still upset about my class schedule.

People were moving about now, taking showers, getting dressed.

I got out of my bed, kneeled on the floor by my bed, and used my bed as a desk for my laptop. I opened my laptop, and was about to look for my class schedule.

Suddenly, I fell asleep on my closed laptop.

I woke up later. Apparently some people had fallen asleep again, too. All was quiet. It was still a little dark outside. I rubbed my face and wished I hadn't fallen asleep on the laptop because I might have drooled on it or something. Picking it up, however, I noticed the laptop had bent at an angle almost as easily as a piece of cardboard.

I thought this was odd. Just in case, I RCed just to make sure. I plugged my nose and breathed in, and sure enough, I
was dreaming! However, I never really believe the nose plug RC sometimes because the result of it feels so weird, so I did it a second time. Yep, I was dreaming!

A thought hit me. 'Oh no, but don't I have class in a couple of hours? Maybe I'll make this quick and get my goals done...'
(So I thought that I fell asleep and had a lucid dream there, and that I wasn't actually just dreaming the whole time)

I got up from the floor. As soon as I did, my right sock fell off. I remembered feeling it, but I thought I would just keep walking with it off. The sensation felt odd, but it didn't bother me too much.

I started to fast walk down our hallway. I reached an open doorway on my left that looked like it led into an empty room, and I tried to go through. But as soon as I did, a powerful force or wind that seemed to be eminating from that room knocked me back and I hit the wall behind me. It didn't hurt, but it stunned me. I decided I wouldn't go that way.

I went back up through where I came, and turned right into a larger hallway that opened up into the kitchen. It was dark, and I was worried about seeing someone in the shadows. But I did, like I was expecting, but it didn't scare me. I saw Sim sitting on one of the kitchen counters, and E was sitting at an island chair.

I thought about my goal of eating a chocolate bar (I heard that everything tastes a lot better sometimes in dreams).

"Sim," I asked. "Do we have any chocolate bars in here?"

To my surprise, she said, "No, I don't think so, I haven't seen any."

I thought about what I should do. 'I'll just look in random cabinets, I'm bound to find something then.' I went over to the sink that was in the middle of the kitchen and bent down. I moved over to the right, and opened the cabinet on my right, with the intent of finding a chocolate bar. All I saw were toppings to put on cookies, like peanut butter M&M's, shredded peanuts, pecans, and the like, but no pure chocolate.

So I gave up on that idea.
(I'm surprised, I should have asked her again, or tried to summon one again) I went to the outskirts of the kitchen. I then yelled, "Boyyys!" (I have no idea where that came from) I then heard a chorus of deep hey's coming from the opposite side of the house.

I went back to the room that ejected me earlier. Before I went in, I imagined that I could get through it, and sure enough, I did without any problems. The room was small with a small window showing light outside now. To my left looked like the front door. I opened the door and peered outside. Immediately, the song "You Ain't Nuthin' but a Hound Dog" by Elvis filled my ears. I walked out onto the very small front porch. In front of me was a hedge that led out to the main road. I could see some people walking past our dorm house.

I was second guessing if I really was dreaming right here. If I wasn't, I didn't want to make a fool of myself by going outside and running around in my pajamas. So I did the nose plug RC again, and yep, still dreaming! The music got a bit louder, and I began to walk to the beat out into the road. I was so overcome with emotion that I began to practically dance in the road. There were little crowds of people that were scattered around the place. I really wanted to fly. I ran and jumped but nothing happened, my feet pounded the pavement as I landed back onto the ground, as if in real life.

      Then, my alarm rang.
    6. Don't Push Me.. I'm Close To The Edge (DILD) 6/7/15

      by , 06-07-2015 at 12:57 PM (Sydney's Nightly Adventures)

I remember being at my mom's house in my slightly dark bedroom. The only other light that was in the room came from overcast light outside. About 5 other people were in there, out of those five I specifically remember Sim, Erin, and Mike being there.

My bedroom had 4 other twin beds put in there, and my room was a bit bigger. The beds were side by side, and each person was laying on one with blankets. We were taking turns playing some sort of game of charades.

I remember that it was my turn. I walked up to my desk with one of my blankets, and sat down in my desk chair. I didn't proceed to act out, though, because Sim and Erin were talking and I was talking with them.

Suddenly, as if it was totally normal, I began to sort of "conduct" this music that was playing. It was the "20th Century Fox" theme music that plays before most movies. I don't know where it was coming from, but I didn't think it was weird or anything, in fact, I was having a lot of fun.

After that ended, I was still sitting in the chair. Suddenly, Sim got onto her knees on her bed, held her blanket above her head so it made a sort of "cave" over her, and proceeded to "whip" her hair in a circular motion. Sort of like a stripper.

"Wait, Sim no..." I said. "Don't do that.."

Erin saw it too and was saying the same thing. "No.. you gotta do it like this." and Erin proceeded to whip her hair up and down.

After a couple seconds, I said, "What am I even doing up here?" I got up from the chair and went and "sat" on top of my bedside table. Mike was to my right, looking at me curiously.

Some urge of mine told me to open the cabinet of my bedside table. I reached down to the light tan cabinet knob of the bedside table, and opened it. Oddly, there was another door behind it. The same exact one, in fact, like I had never opened the door in the first place.

Realization overtook me. "Wait a minute..." I said.

I reached up to my nose, pinched, and breathed in. I was actually DREAMING!

Suddenly, all noise had stopped. There were only three people in the room now. I could feel a weak presence at my right elbow; there was someone walking beside the bed to the left; and myself. This dawned on me in about a half second.

Ignoring whatever was at my right, I slowly got off the bedside table and acted like I was walking towards whatever person was walking towards the bathroom now. It looked like someone I knew, but I couldn't really tell in the semi-darkness. Once my feet hit the floor, I suddenly felt someone push me from the right, my shoulder. I heard a large grunting noise from right beside my right ear, sounding like "ERR!" I expected that I would hit the ground. But instead, I kept falling. I couldn't see anything or feel anything. I felt like I could have been floating. From the time I was pushed to the time the dream ended, it had been about 3 seconds.

Then I woke up, for real.

    7. Fly Me To The Moon - DILD - 1/10/2015

      by , 01-10-2015 at 05:15 PM (Sydney's Nightly Adventures)
Fly Me To The Moon (DILD)

I think I was lucid from the start. My bedroom was dark, and I was standing in the middle of the room. I wasn't scared like I usually was - of the dark in dreams, because I knew I could change it - I was aware enough to realize that I needed to turn on the lights and stabilize the dream, one of my goals.

I remember saying out loud, "Why does it have to be so dark?"

The lights slowly came on in my room (my lamp and my main light), as well as the light outside.

I thought again to stabilize the dream. I walked over to the right where my mirror would have been (it wasn't), and gently touched the wall. It felt cold, but not too cold. I noticed my hand was slightly deformed, and a very light, glowing outline was around it. My touch sense improved a bit. I backed away from the wall and shouted, "Clarity now!" However, it didn't really help.

I saw a small end table up against my wall. A book was lying there, it looked like a Webster's Dictionary for kids (it was that thick, and it had many colors on it). I walked over and picked it up. I turned it over onto the back, where the summary/sneak peek of the book usually was. As I looked at all the words on the book, they constantly kept changing. There were a lot of one sylable words, like "had", or "that", and the sentences didn't really make sense. I decided to read them aloud as best as I could.

      I did
(I don't remember any of it now), and as I did, my voice sounded a bit distorted, and a little lower.

I put down the book. I turned around and walked towards my window. It was open, and daylight was streaming in. I stuck my head out; and instead of our large front yard, it looked like there was a building right below me that connected to our house, with a small concrete/grass courtyard inbetween the two buildings. I remember then saying, "Show me something fun." (As if talking to my subconcious) Right in front of my eyes, out a little ways in the air; a dark, shadowy rainbow began to form. It quickly disappeared.

Somehow I got onto the ground (it was blurry right then). I walked in the courtyard a bit, just looking around. I saw lots of pebbles on the ground around my feet. I looked to my left. I saw a bucket full of water.

I then thought, "Oh! I can try to water bend!" I walked over to the bucket, and stood on either side of it. I at first tried using both hands, and was willing the water to move. I gently was moving my hands in a continuous up and down motion, acting like my hands were scooping the water up. I noticed tiny movements and ripples in the water. After a couple more seconds, I used more "strength". I tried to use varying hand positions, and trying to make my hands more "gentle." The water started to rise up out of the bucket, but there was some resistance.

Suddenly, a boy about my age, if not a bit younger came up. He seemed immature. He was looking me up and down.

I looked back to the water. With some new, great resolve I waterbended a portion of water out and threw it at his face. At the same time, I clenched my hands together (but not all the way into fists). The splashing water immediately turned into ice. The ice crystals formed within a second. It looked so cool.

He stood there, stunned. Most of the ice was on his face, and it froze his hand in mid-air. He then fell over because of the heavy ice.

I walked over to where most of the pebbles were. With element-bending in mind, I also thought I could try earth bending. I wasn't too familiar with those, though, as I was with water bending.

At first, I tried to stomp on the ground, and create a crater, with rocks flaying out from it, like rippling water. It didn't work so well. I was able to crack some of the concrete when I landed, and some dust clouds flew up, but that was about it. I tried to move the rocks and pebbles at my feet, with varying motions of my hands, but that didn't work so well, either.

I decided to go back inside. However, I didn't want to be near my house anymore. So I found our lone "front" door in the courtyard. There were small steps leading up to it, but no deck. I touched the door knob. I closed my eyes and tried to imagine another place, like a beach or forest. I opened the door. I then opened my eyes, but to my disappointment, it was still my house. It was dark inside.

While still standing there, I suddenly remembered another goal I wanted to achieve. I wanted to eat something. As if on command, I heard my mom shout, "Dinner's ready!" from inside the house.

I walked into the house and closed the door. I was in the den, as if I had entered from the back door of the house. I walked forward and to the left where our kitchen was. Momma was in there, bustling around with the food. Daddy was also in there, helping put out plates. I remember seeing my siblings walking around as well. I couldn't smell very well what was cooking.

Instead of waiting for the plates to be served, I grabbed what I thought was a green bean out of the pot on the stove. I put it in my mouth. It had the consistency of spinach; it was mushy, as well as slightly fibrous (like eating a twig) but it still tasted like a green bean.

Some time went by. My siblings and I walked outside to the backyard. It was dark now, the sun was almost setting behind the trees. I looked up. Dark clouds took shape in the sky; it was twilight.

I wanted to increase the lighting again. "Come out, sun." I said, to myself.

The sun slowly rose from its setting position up into the middle of the sky. The sky brightened at that, as well as the clouds. It turned into a pretty day.

My eyes still looking up, I looked around for the moon. I saw its smooth silhouette a ways beside the sun.

I wanted to fly to the moon. I jumped, and, still looking at the moon, I willed myself to it. I imagined the moon becoming closer and closer.

Instead of actually flying, I looked back towards the ground. I was levitating about 3 feet off the ground, in a superman-like flying position. My siblings were looking at me kinda funny.

I gave up and landed back on the ground. I decided I wanted to pull the moon towards me. I "imagined" with my mind, a lasso in my hands. It didn't show up in my hands, but I made the motion anyway of "lassoing" the moon. After a second, I began to "pull" on this invisible rope. There was great resistance, but the moon began to get bigger. I pulled again, harder. It got even bigger. I pulled once more, with all my strength. The moon continuously kept getting bigger, huge now; as if I had pulled it out of orbit and it was sailing towards us. Instead of it landing on the earth, however; a dark building landed in front of me. I, stupidly, assumed it was part of the moon. It wasn't really a building; it was circular, with 3 floors, but no walls. The entire structure was dark purples, blues, and blacks. There was a person in a costume standing on the topmost floor, leaning on the fencing.

I walked around it, looking at it.

The dream ended when my alarm woke me up.

      Dark Storms (DILD)

I remember being at my school. It was dark outside, and I was standing in the lobby. Only a couple lamps illuminated the lobby and elementary hall to my left. Suddenly, I felt aware.. Wasn't I just asleep in my bed? I did the nose plug RC. Sure enough, I could breathe through my nose!

I proceeded to run down the hall to my left, and for some reason, that caused me to teleport.

I wound up in my mom's house. It was still nighttime. (I had lost some lucidity here) Some of my classmates (mainly boys) were in my living room with me. We were sitting on two couches. I was in between two of them, Mike on my right and I think it was WL on my left. I think we were watching a movie on a very dim TV screen in front of us. Here, I just kind of let the dream go (I didn't have that much control).

Mike was talking to me and suddenly he placed his hand on my right leg. He smiled at me kind of oddly. I noticed he didn't have the best intentions, so surprisingly, I was aware enough (I'm really surprised I did this) to move his hand off of my leg. He then began nudging me with his shoulder, playfully.

      We ended up "falling asleep".
(There was a period of time where it was darkness for a couple seconds) We all woke up at the same time, still in the same place on the couch. "Did we fall asleep?" I heard myself say sheepishly. "I guess so." Mike said.

The living room was dark. I heard something outside. I turned around and looked towards the front door. I could see through the windows on the door
(not blurry and distorted like they are in real life). I saw what looked like a police car pulling out of the next-door-neighors-who lived-across-from-us's front yard. "Is that the police?" I asked out loud. I got up from the couch and walked towards the front door and opened it. I saw that it was raining, much like a monsoon. The guys followed me to the door. Across the road, I saw the police car, and a badly wrecked car beside it in the yard.

      "Oooh." said someone.

Suddenly, they disappeared. Having little control and awareness, I assumed that they went to go look at the wreckage. I closed the front door. I found my glasses on me somewhere
(probably in my pocket). As I was handling them, I noticed they were broken. The frames had snapped in two. "Maybe I could use some sort of magic to repair these", I thought.

I never tried. I walked to the back door, and looked out onto the back porch. It was dark of course. I could see my great dane staring at me through the window. He looked oddly deformed. I opened the door to get a better look.

Instead of a normally shaped dog; his body looked like a balloon. His head was normal sized, and his legs were very thin and long. His tail was nonexistant.

When he walked around, it was creepy.

Creeped out, I went back inside and closed the door.

Suddenly, I heard a loud clap of thunder. It sounded more like glass breaking, but then a very bright flash of light illuminated my vision. The house was as dark as ever. A very loud clap of thunder again. A flash of light. A bit scared, I opened the front door again. It was barely raining now. Pieces of the wrecked car were still there.

      I then woke up naturally.

      Halfway In (DILD)

I remember being with my friend Julia and my sister Sam. I think we were in front of my Dad's house, only we were in a neighborhood. (In real life it is secluded in the woods) Julia brought some sort of car with her. My step dad was here now, and he came up to us. Julia gave us something to put on. I want to say that they were glasses, but I'm not so sure. So i will say that they were. She gave them to me and I put them on. Apparently, it made you invisible and likely teleport to the dream world. I took them off for a second. I gave them to my step dad to see what it looked like for him to be invisible. He put them on, and slowly faded away. I put my hand to where he was. My hand was suddenly slowed to a stop as I tried to push my hand through "him". It was like pushing your hand through jelly. He took the glasses off and appeared. He was amazed.
Julia gave Sam some glasses too. My step dad left, and we all put then on. We both hopped onto the outside of the car (it now looked like a dune buggy) as Julia drove. She told us that she was going to show us something. As she was driving, a small tent appeared at the end if the driveway. She drove towards it and as soon as we came to it, the tent flap opened for us. She drove in.
The first thing we saw was some giant balloon animal to our right. Julia still driving on, we saw many things. We saw Dopey from Snow White dancing around us at one point (I thought he was a robot, but now that I think about it he may have been real), and we saw some ballerinas and ice skaters. I told myself that I would go back there again. When the tour was done, there were a lot of people in the lobby meeting the manager and other characters.
I suddenly realized I could be dreaming. I told Sam and Julia that I would be right back, and slipped away. I found a room with three mirrors in them. Now halfway lucid, I decided I would be brave and walk up to the mirror. Bracing myself, I walked up in front of it. And to my horror.. I looked and my feet looked like where my head should be and I was standing on my head. I looked in the other mirror. My jaw was shaped sort
of oddly but that's about it. The other one yielded the same results.
I decided to try to step through the mirror. Putting my hand up to the mirror, I imagined that the glass was water. Touching the glass, it felt cold, but like liquid. I pushed my hand through, only able to get half of my hand through before it stopped.

      Running in the Rain (DILD)

I remember being in an old house. I think it was some sort of China house, with pagodas on top. I remember walking outside the backdoor. When you walked out, you were standing on a platform about 10 feet in the air. there were steps going down to the right side of me.

Suddenly, a gigantic monster comes out of nowhere. He's taller than the platform where I stand. He charges at me. I scream and run back inside, squeezing through the door.

I come through the house and out to the garage. I find my family and others gather around picnic tables. Light music was playing around. The garage doors were open and I could now see that it was a light drizzle outside.

Suddenly, a thought occured to me. I MUST be dreaming. I did my nose RC, and I was!
The thought that occured to me first was to get away from there. I looked outside at the rain again, deciding. Well first I should probably put on some shoes. I looked down at my feet. They were a light yellow color. My hand caught my eye. My fingers were bent up in a weird way. Disgusted, I looked up.

I closed my eyes, and tried to "feel" shoes on my feet. No luck. Whatever, I can run barefoot. I ran out into the rain, feeling it's wetness slapping my face and neck. It felt pretty real. I felt the concrete under my feet scratch against my heels as I ran down the driveway. Once I came to the end, I looked to my left, then to my right. Which way should I go? I went right, so I would be heading to the end of the neighborhood.

I starting running as fast as my legs could carry me. Faster, faster! I was so fast. It was exhilarating.

I was almost at the end of the road. I saw a large car lot, like the ones you see in town with the ribbons/flags streamed across the lot. It was placed in an odd way, it wasn't supposed to be there. I saw a small tarp in front of me, I decided to pick it up. The wind started to pick up. I remember reading someone's dream on how they flew on a tarp, like a hot air balloon or a parachute. I ran a few feet and then jumped, my hands grasping the two corners across from each other.

The tarp picked up a little bit, making me glide over to the car lot. I looked below me. Not 3 feet under me were 3 Mustangs (light blue, lime green, green) going backwards on their own, all connected on top of a tarp. The wind was blowing much fiercely now, so the tarp under the cars was screaming for release. I hovered back down to the ground beside the cars. I wanted to fly for real. I bent down, and then tried to jump up. When I did, I heard an "Ow!"

(This part was very fuzzy. Apparently I "woke up" in my room and hit my mother [she was beside my bed] because I jumped up in my dream. I think this was an FA, because I don't remember doing anything else after "hitting" her.)

I woke up for real and my mother was standing over me, saying that she was leaving for work.

I was in a dream. I remember it having some sort of red theme to it. All of a sudden, a thought sprung through my mind. "Wait, is this a dream? I could be dreaming!" Excitement rushed through me. But then the dream started to fade, every time I would blink I would see my room, illuminated by the morning sun. And then, the dream was gone.

"No!" I thought. I layed there for a second where I awoke, staring at the wall. But then somehow, a pixelated line ran across my line of vision. "What the heck?" I thought. "Wait... what if this was a false awakening?"

I did the nose RC and I was lucid!
From where I was laying, I sat up and tried to get out of bed as slowly as possible. I stood up in my room. It wasn't as vivid as I had hoped.

I wanted to stabilize. But I forgot to do the crawling technique. So I just looked up at the ceiling and shouted, "Give me more vividness!" Nothing. So I tried again. "Vividness, now!" Then I tried, "Clarity, now!" Nothing.

I don't remember doing much in my room, or how I got outside. But I remember walking up through the grassy field, not really looking at anything but trying to find my Dream Guide. I felt that I wanted to fly just a little. So I pushed off the ground as hard as I could, but I didn't really get anywhere. It was just like jumping on a trampoline really. So I tried again, this time with more gusto. While in midair, I closed my eyes and imagined me floating. Sure enough, when I opened my eyes, I was hovering about 2-3 feet above ground. "Pretty cool," I thought. But then again, I've always done this in dreams. I glided a bit up the field, then landed.

I saw a group of people inside what looked like a plastic space ship looking thing. I entered it, and yep, there were indeed some people dining. I saw a group of people and decided to go talk to them.

I approached them. They all looked at me. I can't remember what I asked them, but I think it was something about my Dream Guide. They shook their heads. I also asked them about one of my fears and how it could be solved. One of them sighed (a fairly skinny lady with brown hair, and wore a red dress with dangly earrings to match), and mumbled something. I don't remember what it was.

The dream sped forward again and I was at my school, still lucid. The same woman in the red dress was here, but she had a sour look on her face. She didn't like me for some reason.

There was a ton of people on one of our soccer fields, probably having a party. I saw a group of people and I walked up to them and see if they would tell me something. I don't remember the things they said to me, though.

I remember running up to the soccer goal, and a soccer ball was in front of me. I yelled, "Soccer!" and I tried to kick the ball as hard as I could. But something stopped me.

I then lost lucidity. I thought that I had woken up at my school. "Darn it!" I yelled; unaware of the people still around me.

I never regained my lucidity, and woke up.

I remember being in some kind of forest area. It was very dark, but for some reason we had these little lamps hanging up in the trees to provide light. I was with a couple of people.

I can’t remember what caused us to do this, but my friends starting sprinting off, like they got scared of something. I quickly followed behind them, tracking them down with my eyes so that I wouldn’t get lost in the darkness.
I went around every tree and crevice that I could see that they dodged. I came to a small hill, and jumped off. In midair I thought, “Wait, this is a dream!” and landed. I felt a mild shock in my shoulders and back. I didn’t RC, I just kept following them. Eventually the dream ended. I only took that little moment to notice that I was dreaming, but lost lucidity right after that moment.

      A Two Story Car?
I was with my sister Sam, and my little brother Tom. We were inside a large vehicle. There were these two men who were taking us somewhere in it.
I think we were trying to hide some sort of object. But I’ll get to that later.

We stopped at some sort of truck stop, and a lot of weird people were walking around. The men got out, and told us to stay inside. They would only be a minute.

We stayed inside the car and explored around. I found some stairs in the back of the car (the car outside was like a van, except it had two stories inside!) and climbed up them. Inside, I found a room as large as the one below. It looked like there were bookshelves full of records and books. Looking to the right I saw just a regular window. This room didn’t look like it was designed for a car at all, just a regular room you would find in your house.

I walked downstairs and my sister was playing music on the radio. It was so loud I heard it while on the stairs. I think my brother was just sitting there not doing anything.

I got back into my seat in the front (the steering wheel was on the right). I saw a weird man walk by, so I slid down in my seat. “Don’t let him see you.” I whispered.

Eventually the men came back. We drove to some sort of warehouse looking place. Whatever we were trying to hide, one of the men had with him. We walked inside and saw some people walking around boxes. Inside looked like a huge garage. We went through a sort of side room (it looked like a hotel room) and I think put whatever we were hiding on the floor.

      Then the dream ended

      It's About to Rain
We were at our school. I was with my friend Mike and his mom. We were outside on the playground, walking around. I remember Mike’s mom saying, “Mike, let’s go running.” (They were runners)
He looked at the sky. It was a weird shade of yellow and it was starting to rain. “No, mom,” he said. “It’s going to get bad, the weather.”
“Who cares let’s go.” She insisted.
      “But mom –“
      “Let’s go.” She said sternly.

After that weird episode, it turns out they didn’t go running after all. He came to my house and we were in my bedroom. I think he was supposed to keep me company during the storm.

We were in my sister’s car. She was driving down the road. All of a sudden, we see a car bump the one in front of him. They immediately stop, and Ken keeps going, since she’s in the other lane. I hear her go, “Oh my gosh!”
    13. 4/7/12 37th lucid: I'm far away from home.. and other dreams.

I don't remember at what time I was lucid, but I guess I was right from the start. I looked around. I saw that I was in some kind of city. I didn't like it I felt alone. I decided to run up to a nearby eighteen wheeler parked in front of me and ask about my dream guide, since that is one of my ultimate goals. I started to run, but it seemed like my legs wouldn't work! It was like I was running in slow motion. I tried to believe I could run, anything is possible in a lucid dream.

I finally made my way to the window of the large truck. A pudgy woman sat in the front. She looked down at me with a frown. I quickly asked her, "Do you know where I might find my dream guide?"

"We have nothing like that here," she said. "Come back with a couple hundred dollars and maybe you can apply to this school here." she pointed in front of me at a school not too far away. It looked like a large private school.

I sighed and walked away. Moving on, I decided to explore. I looked into a nearby forest. I walked down the slope, trying not to trip on any rocks or limbs. Then the thought came to me that I should stabilize. I remember Mzzkc's method of stabilizing, taking a bite out of a tree. I didn't take a bite out of it, I just picked a small limb off of a tree and tried to take a bite out of that. It felt really weird in my mouth, like it wasn't supposed to belong there.

It only raised my vividness just a tad. I continued on. I found a small shack, well it wasn't really a shack. It was just an awning with people under it watching a TV. There were four guys. One I recognized, my youth leader. Only he was skinnier, and was growing out this long gotee looking thing. I watched what they were watching. It looked like some kind of show that was supposed to embarrass the people on it. The first person was a girl who was supposed to sing a song, a Taylor Swift song actually. She sang horrible. Next there was a girl that was supposed to dance a weird dance blindfolded.

      The dream ended shortly after.

      Working in the Mall
I remember walking around a mall, looking for something to do. I eventually found some kind of little restaurant with pool tables and such. I found a waiter who looked just like Gibby off of iCarly. He told me about a waiter job he had to do in Chicago that got him embarrassed. I don't remember the story though. He was telling me this while leaning over a counter.

      The Lesson
I was at my mom's house with a couple of guys I knew and one of my friends. I'm not sure what we did, but we did something bad. That resulted in my dad teaching us all a lesson. I was supposed to drive a car or something. I got in the car, ready to drive it. I started it and was going. Once again, I forgot where the breaks and gas pedal were. I found them.

As I was going, I was trying to remove the stuff on the dashboard so I could actually see. I heard my dad in the back go, "Good. Good." I swerved to get into the right lane, while almost hitting a couple of cars. Instead of the breaks, I hit the gas, and I sped up a tree on the side of the road. The car fell back down on its side. I got out of the car and said I was okay. It scared me to death though.

Then my dad had to drive us home, showing us all the obstacles that he could easily maneuver or something.

Oh my gosh. This technique is amazing!
So last night, I woke up after 5 hours of sleep, went to the restroom, then got back in bed. I did about, 5 cycles (If I remember correctly.) Then I got comfortable and did one cycle for some reason. After a few minutes I turned over once more (now on my stomach) and fell asleep.

I woke up.. and my body was completely paralyzed! I could not move. I think I could open my eyes, but I didn't want to! I got really scared (as I always do with SP. T-T). I heard these weird wind sounds in my ears or something, and my body just felt heavy and numb (it was a bit hazy at this part, can't remember much). I just decided, "What the heck, I'm getting out of this!" (I've done this before, and I ended up in a FA) So I tried wriggling my head, then my arms, then my fingers, and finally "broke" out of SP. I lay motionless , still lying on my stomach in my bed. Then I thought to myself, "Crap. I shouldn't have done that." But then I RCed out of reflex, and what do you know, I was in an FA! I got really excited. Still laying on my stomach, I used my arms and "pushed" me out of bed. It was extremely hard to do this. It was like pushing a rusted lever or something (kind of like I was "stuck" to the bed). Then I saw it was dark in my room so I got scared once more (I'm always afraid of seeing scary things in my dreams, like weird shadows and such).

I sat on my bed, looking around in the darkness for my lamp. I shouted, "Light!"
      Nothing happened.

I remember that electronics do not work well in dreams, but I turned on the lamp anyway. Light immediately flooded the room. I wanted to see myself in my full body mirror, but was too scared. So I kind of "danced" in front of it to blur my body but see myself in it anyways. I didn't take notice of all the details in my room, I just simply walked into the bathroom and tried to turn on those lights as well. Once I turned it on, the lights shone very dimly. I walked into Sam's room and did the same. Dim.

I shook her awake (at least I think I did), and told her I was dreaming, and to come on with me. She muttered something, but I was too excited to listen to it, and ran out of the room. I stood on my balcony, looking down. It was almost daytime now. I said I would jump off of it. I was afraid I would get hurt. But it was a dream; it couldn't hurt me.

I jumped off of the balcony, landing on my feet. I only felt a mild shock travel up through my legs.

I then walked out our front door, which was a large archway with no door. It was daytime out now. I looked up at the sky, it was clear and crisp. Then I started losing lucidity bit by bit, but I didn't notice. The grass was as green as ever. I saw my mom sweeping the pavement, and my dad was just walking around.

I tried to fly down the steps. Instead, I hovered down them and hit my toe on every single one of them. Since they were brick stairs, it hurt a little. Then I tried to fly around the front yard, but I wasn't making any progress. I tried with all my might to "flap" my arms, but to no avail. Not even if I ran and jumped could I fly.
I gave up and walked over to the side of the house. My house was bigger than usual. I heard my sister, who was outside now. She yelled to me, "Imagine something!"

Good idea. I tried to summon a Lamborghini. Big mistake on my part!

I turned around and visualized what I wanted. A Lamborghini. I wasn't specific, though. I turned around and faced the garage. A really long car, like a limo, was there. It was an ugly shade of green and yellow, and looked like it was made out of coke cans. Ugh.
I tried again, this time it was a longer car, but was an ugly shade of blue. Somehow, the green car had rolled itself down into someone else's driveway.
I tried once more, this time being specific. But it didn't come out as I wanted. A brown car appeared, and it looked like a Model T. I gave up. This was just too hard!

The dream sped forward. I was with a group of people in a grassy field. My lucidity level got even lower, I could hardly control anything. I just had to go along with the story line.
All of a sudden, a nest of "cracker jackers" broke open and swarmed around us. Someone yelled, "Get the powder!" (Apparently, this powder was supposed to ward off cracker jackers) I imagined this white powder. It started raining down from the sky, and the cracker jackers swarmed away. It was kind of like bug spray for mosquitoes I guess. We were careful not to step on the dead ones. They could still sting.

The dream sped forward once more, and I was sitting with a group of people. My lucidity was almost gone now. They were being rude to me. I just walked away, not knowing what to do.

I woke up. I remember going throughout the morning, kind of sad that I didn't have any more time to use the technique in the night, because of school. My mom handed me a piece of a Reese's. I tore the Reese's apart, and it revealed rich peanut butter and chocolate chips! Then the dream faded. I woke up in my bed.
I was paralyzed again! I just decided to really get out of SP now. I did, and I didn't have an FA.
I looked at my clock. All of this happened in less than 2 hours. Wow.

      Dream: Don't kill them!
I was at my dad's house. His house was made into some sort of arena, and they were going to kill two innocent people. A little tanned skinned girl, and a tall boy. I don't really remember the most of this dream, I just remember that they weren't really killed. The people in charge of killing them were playing a trick on everyone.

I set my alarm for 5:30 to wake up for the day. It went off, I turned it off, then set it for 5:45. Then I went back to sleep. Awoken at 5:45 by my alarm, I just shut it off completely, and said that I would rest for a bit. You know that feeling where your bed is just so comfy and you just can't get up? Yeah, I had that feeling. It was like my head was glued to the pillow. I "fell asleep" I think, and triggered either a very real daydream (which either led me to a dream) or I entered a dream completely. I'm not sure if this was DEILD, because I don't remember the transition. I just remember darkness, then the dream.

      But anyway here it is:

I was lucid from the start. I didn't really know what to do, because I knew I had little time. Once again, I wasn't completely aware, so I just decided to look around. I was standing in a bedroom at my dad's house, only, everything was cleaned out. The bed remained, with some PJ's on it. I walked into the closets, nothing. I knew this wasn't my room, and I knew the person who lived in it. But it was a really familiar name. I heard her mom come up behind me. I asked where the girl was. She said that the girl was feeling a bit sad lately. That didn't answer my question, but whatever.
      Somehow, I was teleported.

I ended up on a plane. This plan was very wide, and it didn't have a ceiling. (wth?) It looked more like a carnival ride to me. There were at least a dozen seats in one row. I found the girl sitting on the last seat in one row, looking out the window. I sat beside her.

"Hey, what's your last name?" I asked her.
      She turned to me. "Molly."
Shouldn't that have been reversed? "Okay, what's your first name?"
      The heck?
"Oh, did you get your name backwards?" I asked.
      "Um... I don't think so?"
Awkwardly, I turned to my left. Half of my class from school has just appeared and is now sitting next to me.

Then I was rudely awakened by someone else's alarm.
