    1. Mindfulness

      by , 05-01-2017 at 04:33 PM
Did a little mindfulness meditation before. Had a dream about zombies and whatever. Went to a restaurant to order some fish meal or whatever. I heard a loud beeping noise. I thought it was coming from my wallet so in front of the cashier I was hitting the wallet violently. The cashier told me the beeping probably meant my identity was stolen. Turns out it was my alarm clock.

    3. Adventure with Switched, Pals, and Pizza.

      by , 04-05-2017 at 04:02 PM
Non-Lucid dreams are more adventurous than Lucid-Dreams. Go figure. I was in another state with a group of students from when I was in school. Old pals, you could say. We were goofing off in the hotels whilst trying to figure out what we could eat. Somebody brought several boxes of veggie pizza and scarfed that down. I recall stalking and mocking Owen Cook, co-founder of Real Social Dynamics. It was night time and he was hounding these two women which kind of bothered me. Visited this grave in my backyard with some guy I know from Chicago. There was a foot sticking out of it. The last part of dream involved me hanging out with a nu-metal bands from last decade called "Sw1tched". I started making fun of the their bass-player for having a "clickity-clack" tone reminiscent of KoRn. I was holding a seven-string guitar in my hand which also contributed to me mocking them for ripping off KoRn. We started jamming by playing some songs from their debut album. I don't remember the first song but the second song was called Darkening Days. In retrospect, the riffs I was playing on the guitar was different from the sound coming out of my amp. I actually remember vivid the frets I was hitting. These were the frets I was hitting on the first song.

    4. Three lucid dreams through the eyelids.

      by , 03-30-2017 at 04:15 PM
All I did was lay down after WBTB and just stare through my eyelids. For anyone that is curious:

You look into the distance at anything more than several meters away from you; the farther the better. Then you close your eyes and continue to look at that object and others as if your eyelids are not closed. Visualization is allowed here BUT BUT BUT priority is to be aware of the object in the distance AS IF YOUR EYES WERE OPENED. For example, I lay on my right side and stare at my window across the room as if I were seeing it with my eyes opened. I will start to feel the dream forming and just go with the flow.

This morning I had three lucid dreams. One visiting my old high school. Another where I had very clear hypnagogic imagery and saw sentences that made no sense. I noticed the misspelled words and tried to read the sentence but since my dream recall is garbage, I don't remember what that sentence was. The third was a standard one of me walking through my neighborhood looking for a special someone. I found another woman who then transformed into a reflection of me, then a monster, then attacked me. I wasn't afraid since I was lucid.

Each of these lucid dreams had to be induced after I briefly woke up. Each time, I went back to sleep using the same method explained above.

    5. Outside my head #343454656

      by , 03-24-2017 at 05:10 PM
      Did WBTB.

      Meditated for 20 minutes.

Lied back down in bed and focused on a point on the other side of my bedroom. This is what I mean by being outside of my head. I made no thoughts distracted me from this. At some point in time I fell asleep and I realized I was dreaming. Went outside my house and saw some people walking about. That's all I remember from my 30 second encounter. Somewhere along the line I lost lucidity because I usually sleep for two hours every morning.

Lost focus on my mantra wall falling asleep. Meaning, I could not even form a complete sentence in my mind. Damn. Had a vivid dream about football. I was on varsity. Not something I wanted to dream about. Visited old weight room.

    7. Maybe a MILD

      by , 03-09-2017 at 05:21 PM
Woke up, did my meditation. Tried to fall asleep while staying present to the moment. Had a hard time falling asleep. So I let go of the mindfulness and let daydreaming take over. The sleep paralysis came in gently. I quickly started affirming, "I am dreaming, I will be dreaming." At some point I fell asleep. So I one lucid dream at my old high school. Then, I had another lucid dream while walking down in my neighborhood. Found Naomi(Dream Law of Expectation), and this time she looked a bit more how I imagine her to look. Sort of grey skin, boxbraids, biracial, tomboyish. We took a little stroll down the street. I tried to initiate a conversation with her and she said some basic things like: "What's up?", "Nothin Much." For the most part, she was silent.

As I looked down the street, I saw the most beautiful scene to date. I am a big sucker for scenic skies. Wallpaper-worthy displays. Overall the sky was overcast and it was night time. In the distance, the clouds started to part and show off a beautiful starry night sky. There were some green hues.

    9. 18-minutes

      by , 02-04-2017 at 05:59 PM
Had a lucid dream this morning. Yes, all it takes is 18 minutes of doing SSILD for me to successfully lucid dream. 6 cycles of SSILD. 3 senses per cycle. 1 minute per sense equals a lucid dream. However, I do run into the problem of losing lucidity in the dream or waking up and falling back to sleep without lucidity. I remember walking around in my neighborhood looking for something to do and that's about it.

Anyway to lucid dream the way I do:

      1. Wake up after 4-6 hours of sleep. Find a place to sit in a half-lotus position or any comfortable position as if you were trying to meditate.
      2. Go to https://fitlb.com/tabata-timer and set up your timer. For me, it is 18 rounds of 1:00 minute intervals. 1:00 minute per sense. Sight->Hearing->Touch repeat. If you are paying attention, you should end on the exercise focusing on touch. If not, then you missed a transition somewhere and that is okay. Just complete that cycle you are on without the timer.
      3. Lie down and go to sleep. During the time between lying down and actually falling asleep, the best thing you can do is preoccupy your mind with extra SSILD cycles. Don't pay attention to the time spent on each sense. Focus for a good 30 seconds or 10 breaths then move on. THE OBJECTIVE HERE IS TO FALL ASLEEP. Do not try to anchor, mantra, or try to catch the transition. If you do catch the transition into the dream world, cool; if not, then don't get fixated on it. We are looking for a DILD not a WILD. The expectation to lucid dream is enough.

Following these steps, a lucid dream will happen.

Coming back to SSILD. Felt the transition but stayed it in it for too long and lost lucidity.

    11. Two Lucid This Morning

      by , 01-28-2017 at 06:46 PM
Meditated: had a lucid where I just say outside and took everything in. I stared at the moon and watched it warp. Collapsed to the ground and had a false awakening. Continued the lucid dream to my backyard and looked into a pit of rocks and sticks. Then game over. Woke up and tried to meditate back into dream but instead had vivid non-lucid dreams of getting chased by huge monsters, post-apocalyptic water shortages, meeting a talking Zapdos , seeing old school chums.

      Gotta work on that re-entry.

    12. A longer lucid dream

      by , 01-25-2017 at 05:45 PM
Did a mindfulness meditation this morning then went to bed. I felt the transition. I sort of got stuck where I felt the sleep paralysis but saw nothing so I out of fear of losing lucidity, I affirmed that "I am dreaming." This was after a sort of dry spell. Not really a dry spell because I didn't commit myself to meditating and becoming as deeply present as I possibly can. During the dream I attempted to become present again which made the dream seem more solid. Met people. The end.

    13. Presidential Pure

      by , 01-19-2017 at 05:10 PM
Dreamed I somehow became president of united states. Selected Bernie Sanders as my VP. Then opted to step down. Met my security detail. He was a young arab man who knew some martial arts. I also had a very incompetent and goofy secretary with green hair. Before then I had a lucid dream which I tried to stabilize yet ended in mere 10 seconds.

    14. Another One

      by , 01-10-2017 at 05:20 PM
I am having lucid dreams so frequently now, I really don't know what to title these entries. Did mindfulness meditation(Here & Now) then went to sleep with mindful awareness. Had a DILD but lost lucidity somewhere in the beginning. Need to do a better job anchoring lucidity.

Had two lucid dreams this morning. I recognized I was dreaming in one where I was driving. Another I was in my neighborhood trying to summon a dream character. No dice. Gosh, I need somehow to master dream control.
