      Question Dream Recall Tips

      Hey guys.

I need some help with my dream recall. I can remember my dreasm pretty well. Some times two or three pages. But i have some dificulties because sometimes i woke up, remember the dream that i just have but then i fall a spleep and forget the dream. I am worried because sometimes because of that i spent a day without writing in my dream journal.

Is that a problem? Any tips to better dream recall?

Everytime you wake up, there is a conscious transition state between waking and sleeping, I think this is what is generally utilized by professional Lucid Dreamers but thats not the point.

Focusing on that transition state, try to keep a mental "feel" of that moment everytime you wake up so that if you want to remember a dream you simply lock your brain in that transition state.

If that doesn't work there are several guides in the Tutorial area that can help as well
Dream Remembering Tier: 3/5 (Sometimes I would, sometimes I won't
Lucid Dreaming Tier: 4/5 (Most of my dreams remembered are lucid, there are hardly times which I'm not.
Dream Control: 2/5 (I can do it anytime I choose, the problem is that it burns me out in the dream

Every time you wake up, just lay there for a moment with your eyes closed and try to remember your Dreams. Go over as much of your Dreams as you can remember and you will continue to remember them after you wake. Don't expect to remember every Dream though.
      I Dreamed a Dream
In it, saw people I've never seen
      Gone places I've never been
And done things I'd do again.

I use to do that all the time! Here's what you need to do go to bed with mind set that you will write down your dream, keep reminding yourself as you fall asleep. Trust me it will help.

I'm working on dream recall too. I'm not sure if this will work as I have yet to try it but try telling yourself to dream of a person or whatever you want to dream about before going to sleep. Something I've read somewhere about recall. Hope it helps.

You can sit up so you dont fall back asleep right away. First thing I do when I wake up is memorize keywords from the dreams I can recall, since I don't journal in the middle of the night. Then when I finally wake up in the morning, I remember the keywords and that triggers the dreams.

      Good luck!

Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.

A great piece of advise I have learned is to visualize and take in as much detail as you can while you are awake, over the course of the day slow down and analyze every detail of your surroundings. Also read a book but try to imagine what is happening in the book in as much detail as you can.

      ^^this is good for you.

I don't use much of it anymore, I have my own methods now, but this helped me a lot.

I think the best thing I improved on is that I use this as well:

      http://www.dreamviews.com/general-dr...le-dreams.html

I incubate my dreams as well so they all have a pretty close concept (last night was all battles!), so it is pretty easy to pull up all my dream ideas.

      I have about 5-6 dreams a night.
