Screenshotted from a "Cracking the Nutshell" video, which I watched halfway through now - thanks Box77.
Not sure what to make of it yet - but it's very insightful and this is a great picture - shame I can't tell you who created it...

Edit: I even dreamt of it last night - it belonged to some weird huge animal and I had to find out what it was and didn't...

Fractals are amazing! I never get tired of them. Have you ever seen fractal broccoli in the grocery store? It doesn't show up very often, but these are pictures of it:
I was going to buy it, but there were a gazillion little bugs living on it, and I thought that would be such an amazing place to live, so I let them have it. At least until someone else buys it.

It's called Romanesco, Schmaven! I think it comes from an interbreeding of cauliflower and broccoli - I did eat it - and I find it tastes much better, finer than the both of them. I can really recommend it, even if it's a bit more expensive, and not only because it is so beautiful!
Edit: One could lucid dream of being a very small entity on such a Romanesco landscape!! Mind - blown.Last edited by StephL; 07-18-2014 at 07:38 PM.
