Hunger Games. It was very good; the shaky cam in a couple parts almost killed me, though. It was mostly near the end, when I couldn't even tell who was who until the camera panned out. The lead's acting was awesome, as well as a good number of the supporting characters'. |

We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

I dream a lot, need not be asleep.
Look up 'Battle Royale'. It's a novel which came out long before the Hunger Games, in which a corrupt Japanese totalitarian government forces classes of schoolchildren to fight eachother to the death on an island, allegedly for research. It is a mechanism to keep the population too terrified of the government to form insurgencies. |

Saw the Hunger Games last night, a little late. |

I saw the Vow, and even though I was a little disappointed in it, I still loved it. I thought there was going to be more tear-jerker moments in the movie. But the fact that it was based off a true story, made me jerk half a tear and that was all I needed :} sucker for those. Worth the watch! |
