Until a few years ago, I was unaware of the whole thing, but from the first moment, I have always considered it perverse--which is a step down from the adult practice that I have seen as just stupid.

My point is, people think that beauty is an appearance, and they are completly ignorant of the reality. As every environmental acquistion of a living organism is to maintain and promote the life of the organism, things like love and beauty have to be defined commensurately, Example Love: Love is all the things two people do together to maintain and promote their life. Beauty, would have a similar definition with the result that the only truly beautiful thing for one is one's mate.

I didn't know Europe is a country, but I did know that there are about 193 countries. Don't forget about military power and political influence.

Europe and America are basically of the same order of scale in terms of size, money, and political influence. The US does have a more powerful military, but personally I'd rather not pay those billions of tax dollars seeing as traditional warfare is no longer sufficient even to sort out a tinpot country like Afghanistan after a whole decade, and any more than a small deterrent's worth of nuclear weapons are completely superfluous.

The EU to member state legal influence ratio is pretty much the same as the USA to member state influence ratio so whether you call it a country or not is academic.

Personally I think the way things are going, America is going to find itself severely diminished in a few years. By 2015 the projected deficit is 15%, far in excess of what sunk Greece and is currently in the process of sinking the other countries with excessive states like Spain and Italy. Europe is better but still bad.

The population of the U.S. is just above 300 million. The population of Europe is above 800 million.

We successfully overthrew the Taliban in Afghanistan, and they have not been the government since. The one we set up still is.

I hate beauty pageants in general. The contenders resemble plastic barbie dolls, but somehow that's the definition of "beauty".

I don't have any reason to 'insult America'. It has its problems but I think the central ideology of America is a brilliant thing, even if its application has become somewhat perverted in recent times.

The problem here is that there's a difference between the incredible idea that America isn't vastly superior to the rest of the world, and 'insults'. This is the only issue I have and ironically your posts have only strengthened this opinion of an endemic nationalistic superiority complex leading to a bizarrely distorted or at least vacant view of the planet.

The US isn't the largest economy, the US's scientific and technological developments are in line with the rest of the modernised world (it exists!), and if you came over to Europe and said that the US was the world leader in 'culture and entertainment'... hahahaha. Where do you even get this stuff from, I know you've never visited Europe in your adult life and I sincerely doubt you've set foot anywhere else.

Never liked these damn things. (Child pageants.) It brings out the worst in the adults, and breeds the worst in the children. Even those children that enjoy doing them often turn out to be shallow and materialistic little prima donnas, who learn to base their own self-worth on their looks. It begets the kinds of tweens who spend 4 hours a day in front of a mirror, and border on complete, psychological meltdown, when they can't get a single hair to lay down on their head like they want it to.
