Thread: Dream Character Intelligence

Yes my own dream stalker has some intelligence and knows how to control dreams etc, and i hate it. Hope last time i handled her was the last time.

I've encountered some very smart and rather insightful DCs in my dreams, but I don't know that I specifically changed their intelligence directly. Rather I believe they seemed intelligent to me because I have above-average intelligence and tend to associate with fairly bright people, and I feel that the DCs likely to appear in my dream would reflect the people I encounter in real life.

I suppose it would be interesting to try and make one seem less intelligent...


I think the most captivating and intelligent DC I've ever met was a beautiful Asian woman who understood that to be an effective ruler of people one must understand the needs, both emotional and material, of the people we govern. We had a nice long talk about the subject, and we had good chemistry together. The dream was quite intimate without becoming lewd.

I will sometimes make them extra gullable for the sake of convinience. I like to control the entire dream sometimes and work on specific tasks or train basic skills and annoying DCs can mess it up. So, say I find a DC is guarding a door and starts hassling me, I will "know" that he is a s dumb as rocks. Then I say something like "I just saw him run around the corner! If you hurry you can catch him!" The extra dumb DC guard then runs off and I do not have him in my face disturbing me anymore.

i have this one DC that has been in my dreams for as long as i can remember, she has been very intelligent, in a way that she has been teaching me a lot of life lessons, and i can't control her in anyway i want, i keep meeting her once in a while and sometimes when we talk, she can refer to many dreams i've had with her, in some ways, she is more real than many friends i have in real life, even if she is just part of my personality or mind, it is nice to have a separated "self" that you can talk to

Lucy, who is a recurring DC of mine, is smarter than any other DC i ever met. She is tricky, smart and powerful...

For some reason she doesn't want to be friends with me, ever since i once pushed her away from me when she wanted to approach in a friendly way... i did that because she was a nightmare at first and i was scared.

But i don't give up... even if she tries to avoid me

Vinleg and Littlezoe, I personally believe people can make contact with beings native to the astral in dreams. They can become very helpful teachers and seriously advance any LDers progress. Both of your DC sound like they may be that kind of thing.

I definitely feel like Lucy is worth the time i invest in trying to get her to be my helper/dream guide. I feel some kind of connection towards her, like she is more important than any other DC. But for some reason it seems like she just wants to disappear and not be bothered by me... I spend some of my lucids by trying to find her and talk with her, but she doesn't like it for some reason.

Since she was a nightmare at first, then she disappeared until i intentionally searched for her... maybe she fulfilled her part and wants to leave now... but i hope i can change her mind.

So yeah, i'm working on it

i'm sure my dc has been in my dreams since i was 12, weird thing about this dc is that i can never quite remember in detail her face or body, i can describe it and remember her appearance and hair color and all that, but it's sort of impossible to picture it in my head when awake, don't know if this is one of my mind's tricks, it would be really intriguing for her to be native beings to the astral in dreams, but she knows me way to well, so it's really hard to believe, but whoever she is, she is a completely different person than who i am or what i want to be
