      What has been the most vived scenery you have had in a dream?

      I want to hear about the one place your mind has created in a dream, lucid or not, that has been the most vivid and lasting in your mind. I will give you mine.

      It was a cliff, next to an endless body of water. I don't even remember what the dream was about, or what had been happening up to that point, or afterward. I don't remember myself in the dream, either, just this cliff, and I was on the top, looking across. It was reddish-brown rock, really jagged and cracked and broken all over, like it was really old. The piece where i am perceiving from is shaped like a long thin triangle, with the point of it facing out toward the water, and I can see another face of the cliff across from me, across one of the sides of the triangle. So imagine a river running between the side I am on and the opposite side of the cliff. I can see all the way down the other cliff face, its that far apart. But the other cliff face isn't just rock. It is the same reddish-brown aged rock, but there are doors all over this cliff face, in these ornate gold frames, sort of like old roman columns on each side holding the doors in. There are at least a hundred of them, scattered sporadically over the side of the opposing cliff. The doors themselves are gold, as well, and they have knobs on either the left or right, seemingly at random. There is no way to scale the cliff to get to the doors, they are literally on the surface of the cliff wall. I just remember seeing these doors, and just existing there, hearing the waves crash on the rocks below. The sky was clear. Other than the waves, it was quiet. I still remember that dreamscape to this day more clearly than any other dream i have had since, and it has been a few years. It felt like something straight out of a fantasy book, for real. I wish I had been lucid, I would love to know what was behind those doors...

      Now I want to hear yours.

      The evening hangs beneath the moon, a silver thread on darkened dune.
      With closing eyes and resting head; I know that sleep is coming soon.

      Upon my pillow, safe in bed,
      A thousand pictures fill my head,

      I cannot sleep , my mids aflight;
      and yet my limbs seems made of lead.

      Wow,I like how cool/exiting that place sounds. I can't recall a lot of vivid non lucid scenery but I remember one. It was a forest near a wooden house that was filled with so many birds and cute animals that seemed like a mix of something real with something fake. I enjoyed petting the animals and carrying them but I wasn't aware it was a dream. If I did know I would probably go on some type of forest adventure. XD Theres not much details there but trees and animals but it felt real at the time.

      Cool, kind of like the animals in Avatar: The Last Airbender. All of the animals are a mixture of two or more animals. Sounds like a cool and peaceful place!

      Although this dream setting was naturally dark & gloomy, it seems to be the scenery I best remember from a dream. We were vampires journeying up the mountains heading to a castle. I remember the old stone houses we found on the way & the gothic architecture that the castle had once we got there.

      Mine is the first time I got lucid. It was exactly the moment I realised I was dreaming. I was standing in front of a retirement which is about 500m from my home. The streets and the other buildings looked so realistic

      Believe it or not, the first ever lucid dream that I had was among one of the most vivid, or at least that's the experience that immediately comes to mind for me. And it stayed vivid throughout. It took place on a beach.

      The most vivid moment was 2 nights ago when I saw incredibly dark clouds. I looked through the window od my house then thought "wow is it going to be a tornado?!"
      Nad immediately after that sentence i saw very very detailed creation od it. I saw exactly how it came out of the sky. The funny thing is it was only of 5m width and 20m height. Later i saw my friend laying on the floor and asked "wtf are you doing dude?" nad he said that the tornado was pulling him. At that moment i felt very heavy and dropped. Pretty amazing non-lucid dream control.

      One of my most vivid dreams was the long, visually detailed non-lucid leading up to my first LD. I could see myriad tiny instruments and small toys and things on desks in extreme detail as I walked down through a stairway that passed directly through little offices and workspaces (descending rectangular staircases (stairs laid out on the 4 walls of a rectangular building space turning 90 degrees at each corner) was a dreamsign for a long while).

      Recently in lucids I've been having very detailed outdoor expansive scenes: trees, buildings, large bodies of water, extending out into the far distance, really amazing.
