Thread: Weird Dream Foods

Huh...I don't often eat anything weird in dreams...but I am interested in reading what others say that they've eaten!

Peregogies...lucky that you remember what they were called . I rarely remember names of anything from dreams when I wake up...but I did remember that there was this guy named Todd in my dream from yesturday! But I forgot the little girl's name! Shoot!

That sounded good until you mentioned the vomit

I need to eat more weird stuff in my next lucid dream.

Well...I guess it's about time for this sort of thread! Honestly, I can't remember actually eating the food, but I can remember what it was. One of them was a cheeseburger that I saw on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. It was big, and it had grilled cheeses for buns. Delicious. My dad woke me up before I could eat it, though! The other thing that I think I can remember eating had the fruity center of a Strawberry Pop-Tart, but it had the appearance and crunch of crispy chicken fingers. It tasted pretty good, actually! It's something I might have to ask for at KFC!

Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives is awesome! I need to try eating stuff from that show in dreams...never thought of that before.

The chicken pop tart thing is pretty funny

Yeah...my dad loves it too! I'm glad that there wasn't any chicken in the tarts, cause that would have been disgusting!

i tried eating dirt one time while telling myself that it will taste like chocolate because i control the dream

it tasted like dirt

Last night I was a security guard in a huge department store... my partner was John Candy. We started seeing plates of food here and there around the store, more and more, and it all looked really good. All kinds of pastries and delicacies. Rather than eating it we started having a huge food fight. And it turned out all the food was really made of shit.

This very much. I've always wanted to litterally devour a book...

In dreams, I find myself eating meat every once in a while. As a vegetarian, I find this disturbing.

Usually when I dream I'm eating food, I wake up really hungry. And other times I'll be searching for food (driving around or in a restaurant about to order something). Oh, I had this dream I was in line at a KFC , except nothing on their menu was what they had in real life, although it all looked good

But yeah, I've had dreams before where I've eaten food that tasted awesome, but don't know the name of it and am not sure if it exists in real life...

Oooh great!! I have two off the top of my head.

I had a "Caramel Latte Chocolate." It's was one of those more fancy-type things, like from Bernard Callebaut or something. It was a white chocolate cone, swirled with solid caramel. And inside was a liquidy, milky-caramel filling. OMFG it was the best thing I have EVER tasted!!!

This next one isn't so much a made up food, but a made-up business. I was at a Cake Buffet. You had different base flavours of cake like vanilla, chocolate, marble, etc. Then an attendant put your choice of icing on it. They gave it to you like that, and there was a condiment bar to take it to where you can put cherries on, or sprinkles or whathaveyou.

Too bad there's nothing like that IRL afaik.

I saw something called a "Good'n'Bad Bar", but I never actually tried it. It was a chocolate bar, half chocolate, and half cheese.

One tasty treat I did try was some black licorice with nuts in the middle, something like a cashew. The outside was covered in those tiny round candy balls, mostly red with a few green ones. They were shaped like raspberries, and they were delicious!

I also saw some bottles that were labeled "Peasant's blood", but I never tried those either.

Well, I've got something else to add to this thread! A quote from my dream journal entry:

I found myself in a chair with a table circling around me. Past that, all was black. On the table was all sorts of weird food, mostly variations of a beehive-shaped substance with a popsicle stick coming out of the bottom. They were in all different colors, some transparent and gelatin-like, some solid-colored and firmer, like a cake or something. Oh, and some of the popsicle sticks were edible as well. Plus, every one of these weird things had trippy decorations on them, too. Swirled colored icing, big balls of some sort of candy stuck all over...and it all tasted awesome.

This time dream food didn't make me throw up!

Once I'm done building the most awesome sandwich ever that can never be remade, somebody wakes me up and I literally attempt to bite air from my hand before I'm full concious.
