Itching solutions please! (I might have one)

Hey all. My first new thread here . Hope it's in the right place.

I have had a constant problem with itching through meditation and WILD practice. From the minute I sit still, I begin itching. Some are ignorable, others just get worse and worse until you've got no choice but to scratch them hard. From browsing around, seems that this is a common problem. General advice is "if you can ignore it, do, otherwise scratch it". This leaves me scratching every 60-90 seconds, and ruins all my practices.

Using either different soap in the shower, different detergent, or no soap at all makes no difference. I had a complete diet change about a year ago. I now eat a very fresh diet which is 99% vegan, and this has made no difference. Antihisthamines also don't help. This leads me to believe that it's all in my head, and not a reaction to anything.

Yesterday, during WILD practice, rather than ignoring the itch, I focused all my energy on it. This seems counterintuitive as the more energy you put on it, the worse it should get - well it didn't. I actually thought that I may be killing two birds with one stone, as I get to focus intently on something, and prevent myself dozing off to sleep. Eventually the itch subsides and another one appears, I now put all my focus on the new itch. I'm also performing the usual countdowns, sinking feeling, etc, relaxation techniques at the same time. 20 minutes later, for the first time ever, after 5 years of on and off practice, I experience mild vibrations during WILD, which start to get stronger. Then they go, then they come back slightly stronger all over my body. I get excited, before I know it I have 3 simulataneous itches that just have to be scratched. I scratch them and roll over to sleep

Any advice? Or any other anti itching methods? I'm going to retry this technique tonight, although I'm not entirely sure that I'm on to a winner just yet..

I always get really itchy When I try to WILD. I find focussing on the tip of my thumb or toe makes the itches disapear.

If you do scratch, you may continue your WILD attempt. Not all is lost.

The itching is the #1 reason that I fail at WILDing, meditation, and self hypnosis. Whenever I try to relax and lay still for any length of time, there is always that itch that shows up for no reason. Maybe I just give up too easily after scratching.
