Do a Reality check every time you wake up |
|
Today I had about 4 FA's and I'm kinda getting tired of having them, They are getting really weird and they are basically creeping me out. One of them I managed to get into a lucid state. And I decided to go to another place and I managed to do some dream control and it worked but the false awakenings are getting really annoying. I had one where I woke up from bed and I heard a voice like a demonic voice telling me something and I heard a weird buzzing noise. And I was asking my self if I was still in a dream after that I woke up. Anyone know how I can prevent this issue? Thanks!. |

Get into the habit of doing a reality check every time you wake up. If you have another false awakening, you are likely to become lucid. |

Ask yourself if you're really awake every time you wake up. If you get up in the middle of the night but feel like you're too tired to even bother doing an RC, do one anyways, because a lot of the time you might be asleep. Check to see if your thoughts are clear and if you can do basic math, using your fingers to count - this can double as the finger-count RC as well. |

We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

Have questions about lucid dreaming? DM me.
If you want to avoid false awakenings, maybe if you have one get lucid and keep concentrated, I think that when you loose focus and concentration it may trigger another false awakening. If you can't avoid them from happening, trigger an awakening, try to create a link with your physical body from your dream, tense your whole body with strength close your eyes with strength, and open them up with force, willing to wake up. |

Are you dreaming?

Do these occur after a lucid dream? It sounds like you are waking prematurely from your dreams. You are just dreaming about waking up. It could be all the time you are spending dwelling on yourself in bed. Whenever you practice MILD or WILD, or picture something to do with lucid dreaming, imagine yourself in the dream. Don't imagine your body in bed, sleeping, waking up, WILDing, ect. Imagine the end result. The dream itself. |
