Have you ever woken up in Sleep Paralysis and are you afraid of it?

Hi, I have been waking up in sleep paralysis at least once a month and sometimes twice, I was wondering if any of you have experienced this and are you afraid of it, I'm usually not too afraid because I know that it's not real. It usually only occurs when I really want to have a lucid dream that night.

Oh it isn't common for me but when it happens it makes me very happy. Finally managed to change the echoed-omni-whispers into images of ghosts/shadows/demons attacking me, it is very fun to play with. You can change it to something less shady though, SP HH can be controlled.

I hate being in sp. Normally when I get it I am falling asleep and end up stuck paralyzed and normally freak out and get out of it by wiggling my toes. But ya it sucks. I rarely ever get it when waking up from a dream though.

When I was a kid and did not know what it was, and when or if it would arrive I would get terrifying results. I'd have grasshopper locust things all over my room and body and I'd not be able to breathe very well because somehow my bedsheets were tightly over my head or something, and I would struggle to get up and the only way to wake up was to scream really loud but nothing would come out or 'suffocate' until i woke up, but that point before waking is too darn stressful either way.

Now, I don't get scary SP really and it isn't too difficult to make me feel better.

I had it once when I awoke in the middle of the night from some kind of stressful dream, though I don't remember what the dream was about. The dream did stress me out to where I actually willed myself to wake up from it immediately. I was awake in bed in the middle of the night, and I couldn't move, lol. So for about 30 seconds I'm lying there thinking so this is what sleep paralysis is. Good thing I heard about it before so I wasn't freaking out. I know I was still tired and it was the middle of the night, so I fell right back to sleep about a minute later. That was the first, and only, time I experienced sleep paralysis.

It's never happened to me, but if it ever does, I'll probably use it to my advantage and try to WILD.

I've only woken up in sleep paralysis once, last year. I wasn't afraid at all, probably because I had already read about it before. In fact, I thought it was quite an interesting experience, trying my hardest to move but not being able to. It didn't last very long, only for about 10 seconds. Unfortunately, I didn't have any hallucinations.

I just hate how it feels. It's not something I am interested in.

When I was a child, I woke up from a nightmare into a very unpleasant SP twice. It was absolute terror. It happened a long time before I started with LDing. Since then my SP aren't unpleasant and I am happy when I reach the state.

It's happened to me, usually when I become lucid but the dream ends within a minute. I like it just fine, it's a nice state of consciousness to be in, especially since it allows me to be conscious but be entirely still and not open my eyes, allowing me to get into another lucid after the short one I had just been kicked out of. SP is a very useful tool in getting a lucid dream.

When i'm more actively practising lucid dreaming i have sleep paralysis more often. I had over 50 SPs so far and 95% of them were when i just woke up
