Thread: Funniest Dreams

I had a dream where Metallica were in a barn painting a portrait of a slow moving turtle. Yeah...I have those kinds of dreams.

Do you mean lucid or regular?

Gab: yes if you've had a weird lucid, go for it. I just know for me that my strangest dreams are always non-lucid.

So my weirdest dream I ever had, was I went to a family gathering at my Aunt's house, and we heard a noise. So we went to the front window, and at the bottom of the street was a high school football field. It was halftime, and in the center of the field there was an elephant balancing on an exercise ball, while all around it there were women on giant stilts. I mean three hundred feet high. And they were running in a ring around the elephant. One football player got a little too close, and got knocked out by getting hit in the head with a stilt.
We left my Aunt's, and went to a bowling alley. Then somehow my mom was there, no one else from the family showed. And the people in the alley weren't bowling, they would lay in the lanes, with their head facing toward the pins, and push off, to nearly make it to the pins. They were all doing it to get their picture taken sliding down the lane. I wanted to do it for some apparent reason, and I laid down, and the dream ended.
Believe it or not, I went through that whole thing without recognizing any strangeness. I didn't get lucid off that dream

I have this dream when I was a kid. There's this witch chasing me and that dream always happen whenever I dream. The thing is I eventually realize that it's just a dream and tell myself I can do anything that I can think of. This dream always occur like it's a replay of the first ones.

I attempted WILD by trying to fall asleep while wandering around the house. I literally facepalmed when I woke up from that.

Haha, I've done something similiar, I was trying a WILD at my school, in a random chair outside at lunch. How can I think of lucid dreaming in a dream and not realize I'm dreaming! If I would be able to do that, I would have had tons of lucids by now

I've had one funny tonight. I was in class, there was a hologram with some astronomy stuff. In the background (like there were no walls in class or something like that) there were 2 pretty tall buildings. I see man on the rooftops and they are fishing from there.

Im not sure I have that many funny dreams. There was a lucid where I walked up to 3 woman and they seemed to be cold. My dream control was a lot less refined back then. I tried to create a fire, but it started as a candle and then a teki torch, then a wood burning cook stove. I stopped at the cook stove and tried to summon some thing for us all to eat. It ended up being salty beef stroganoff. I tasted some and then offered some to one of the women.

She just stared at me and said "You are in a dream world and can do anything you want, and you just stand around and do this???!"

This isn't very recent, and isn't anywhere near as weird as my dreams get, but I feel like sharing it for no particular reason.

In this dream, I was at some sort of resort island, but there were no humans around at all. Instead there were ducks. Just a bunch of ducks hanging out around the pools. Ducks eating fine foods in the various places set up. It was weird, that's for sure. I remember a group of them accompanying me up a mountainside trail, but when we got to the top I found out the "mountain" was actually a volcano. There was a lot of dialogue here, but I distinctly remember one of the ducks running around and pushing all of the ducks into the volcano. When I questioned it, It simply turned around and said "You're next." I'm pretty sure I woke up from the dream around this time, if not a little later.

Ducks.

Shouting "I'm lucid dreaming!" in a dream. I don't believe there was any control at all, and of course, the rest was just your average nonsensical dream. :/

Sivason, I also love yours. I can just imagine that happening to me.

Ok, so when I was little I had a recurring nightmare. In these nightmares, there were always two of me, like I was an identical twin. Also, it was always in third person, and from many different viewpoints. The basis if the nightmare though, was that there was an extremist government faction. They made a bunch of ridiculous laws, and if you broke one, you would be captured. No questions. Every single government official was Scream. And they drove around in black limousines.
My dream would go on for awhile, and in the end, my entire family was captured. Then, they would place us in seperate pink rooms, floating in a pink bubble. And there was a giant shackle around each of our necks, and it was extremely wide, with a sharp edge on both sides. To keep it from cutting you, you would have to strain your neck, stretch it as much as you could. I would wake up like that.
In the time, it was terrifying. Nowx it's hilarious to look back on.

So, I used to have a recurring nightmare. You know that plant thing from jumangi where you die if you touch the center? Yeah. So, I had a recurring nightmare that the plant thing was pulling me closer. My mom would be on the couch, sipping coffee and reading a magazine, not having a care in the world. This was when I was 5.
