A couple of months ago something happened to me that I can't explain and I'm not exactly knowledgeable on what obe's are, but one night I went to sleep as usual and my sister was on the computer in the living room as usual. I woke up in the middle of the night and wanted to go get water from the fridge so I got up and made it to the door then got sucked back to my bed. It frightened me so I ran for my door again to talk to my sister so she could calm me down, I made it out of my room and right by my sister, but then I got sucked back to my bed. I tired again and got to my sister and yelled for her, but she ignored me like I wasn't there, then I felt the presence of something massive and it had malice towards me, I couldn't look I was so afraid, then the thing without touching me made me toss into the air and I just flailed like a rag doll in the air then slammed to the ground, and it did it again flung me into the air and then slammed me to the ground then it dragged me by the legs into the dark hallway back towards my room as I clawed the floor and screamed at my sister to help but she was just so chill surfing the web or whatever. I asked her the next morning if she saw me or anything she was confused at my saying this, It felt so real, and in real time. Was it an obe or a form of lucid dream? |

Oh then I can add to my LD count then |

Interesting - did everything in your house look right, or was there something that was off? |

I agree. I really want to believe there is something more to it but I have had so many in my life (about half my LDs) that I've had many chances to analyze it. I just can't find any reason to think they are more than lucid dreams. Though, I suppose there are some here that will say otherwise. I guess it's for you to decide. |

Here I must, with respect, of course, disagree a little bit with my pals. I do believe in OBEs being different than LD. Don't discount the possibility so quickly. Unless you are OK with that. If you want to know more, read some William Buhlman, Jurgen Ziewe, Robert Monroe. Compare their experiences with yours. |

I have had some of my lucid dreams start as false awakenings that up to some point managed to recreate surprisingly exact copy of waking world, that's why you should do reality check each time you wake up. |
