Don't assume that a day where you perform 30 reality checks yields more chances to a lucid than a day where you perform 15 reality checks. It isn't that simple
Besides, just look at ordinary content: I turn my computer on every day, spend loads of times in it, doing things that I like, things that I have to do, and my dreams almost never include me in my computer. Now picture me as having an important meeting at work: my chance of false awakenings increases a lot. Like the people above said, emotion is crucial in incubation of content. But you also have to take into account the random chances of it. Many studies proved that there's some delay of experiences on the dream content. Sometimes it's days, sometimes it's week. Since lucid dreaming is something that goes against what you've been doing for all the previous years of your life, it's natural that it takes longer and it's much more random.
