    Thread: Humor: 21 New Induction Techniques

      Humor: 21 New Induction Techniques

      So, just to not confuse anybody, there are few actual techniques. I use D.I.L.D, W.I.L.D and also will accept D.E.I.L.D. as being its own entity despite it just being a W.I.L.D. variation. All the other things, from the commonly accepted M.I.L.D. to novelity made up names like V.I.L.D. are just someones variation on one of the two actual catagories.


      So I thought just for laughs we could poke fun at the idea of 'new techniques' with new acronyms. Please join in and see if we can hit 21 New Techniques! (or more)


      1) S.M.I.L.E.D. =Sexy Movie Induced Lucid Erotic Dream/ Everytime you see boobs do a reality check.

      2) P.I.L.D.= Prayer Induced lucid Dream/ Your new mantra is "Please, please, please!"

      3) S.T.Y.L.D.= Sit Tall You Lucid Dreamer technique/ Refuse to lay down until you have a lucid dream. All sleeping must be done in a chair.

      4) T.R.I.A.L= Total Recall Initiated Awesome Lucid/ Lay in bed and try too picture scenes from the movie.

      5.- W.H.A.T = "Wife has arranged trip" technique.
      Any planned trip to coast for the day with wife driving. Gets me in a nightmare state with uncontrollable lucidity.

      6.- S.A.D = " Sad all day" technique.
      When I have miserable days, my dreams seem to compensate, and allow me a few lucid moments.

      7.- T.I.R.E.D " The irritating repetitive eating dream " technique
      If I can not get into a lucid state, I start to use all my senses for dream initiation.
      Just using visualisations can often send me to sleep, so I imagine eating, or tasting a favourite food
      Irritating sometimes, as I have to get out of bed, and raid the refridgerator.
      This technique is not good, if you are on a diet, but can work when all else seems to fail.

      8.- P.A.G.A.N " Play a game after nine "technique
      Start playing a computer game after 9pm, then go to bed at 1am
      No relaxing before bed.
      Just turn the computer off after playing four straight hours, then jump into bed.
      No further technique needed, as you will continue with the game in your dreams.

      9. - C.A.R.T " Climb a rope technique "
      Used by many to reach lucid o'o'b' states

      10. M.I.T.T.H.A.D " Mushroom induced trip to higher alternate dimensions "

      11.- F.A.R.T " Feel a repetative tremor " technique
      Eat lots of baked beans, and boiled cabbage, then have a block of cheese before bed.
      If you can get to sleep before your stomach starts growling at you, then dreams will flow.

      Awesome. That was 15 and 16. S.N.O.R.E. very nice, now I have an excuse. It will still get me punched, but at least I have a defense.

It will eventually get into your dreams and you'll have the opportunity to kick your boss ass without being fired.

      19. A. B. C.: There are two variations of this technique "Avoid Boring Chores" or "Accomplish Boring Chores." Roman Catholics or former Roman Catholics like me need to do the Avoid Boring Chores variety, and then the guilt will trigger dreams of doing the boring chores to compensate. Everyone else may choose to either avoid or accomplish boring chores during waking in the hope of either through guilt or through integration of day memory into dreams, getting dreams about boring chores. Regularly reality check any time you do boring chores.
