What about the reading something, looking away, rereading it, and seeing whether it changed, can't you do that? I bet you can do the reality check of remembering the last five minutes of what you did or the last five things. You can also use impossible movement reality check - try making a movement that you cannot do in waking life, expect it to succeed, and if it does, you are dreaming?
