Ahh you had a nightmare. |

So I had posted a topic about me going in and out of reality a while ago and it has gone away. But a few nights ago I was down stairs with my mom my father was out at work and I was about to go to sleep because I was just bored. I ended up going up to my bedroom and going to bed. I later woke up or I thought I did and heard and saw the T.V on well the reflection of it coming from my living room I thought my dad had just got home after working and I decided well what the hell I am just going to go say hey. I slowly walked down to the stairs and looked over at my brother so and since I saw him sleeping I knew I was awake so I walked down and right when I could see the T.V………. It was pitch dark like no one was home but I could see a figure sitting on down on my couch and he said hey in my father's voice and by then I could I don't really know how to explain it but I could feel him watching me I could feel me breathing I felt that panic sensation you get when you're about to shit yourself then in a flash I woke up to reality and ended up going to school. I was super scared for the rest of the day and did not know what to think of it I tried getting this thought out of my head but know ever since this my dreams are getting more realistic and I control them like it is real |

To add to what dutchraptor said, to be exact it was a false awakening, dream that starts with you waking up and doing what you would be doing in waking life, they can be confusing sometimes and if you are interested in lucid dreaming, do reality checks each time you wake up. |

Yep, listen to them. |

Fear not the dream, but the mind that creates it. -Some guy I can't remember |

If you believe in OBEs, fears will limit your experiences. Well if you don't believe in OBEs and see your experiences as just dreams it goes the same way. Fear is the biggest block for most people when it comes to growth. It's by overcoming the fear you turn it into progress. |

A: Multi-layered consciousness is true and there's some hidden fear that must be confronted in some cliché manner. |

Try to imagine a life without timekeeping. You probably can’t. You know the month, the year, the day of the week; you have a schedule, a calendar... Yet all around you, timekeeping is ignored. Birds are not late. A dog does not check its watch. Deer do not fret over passing birthdays. Man alone measures time. Man alone chimes the hour. And, because of this, man alone suffers a paralyzing fear that no other creature endures.
A fear of time running out.
