I was playing AC revelations and Desmond got knocked into a coma. He used the animus to stay conscious and it got me thinking; can you dream while in a coma? If you're in a coma the rest of your life is that like purgatory where you can do whatever you want? becoming lucid forever... that's everyone's dream. Pun intended.
