Dream Guides - Are They Real?

I recently created a short video exploring dream guides.

What are your experiences with dream guides?
Are they just a myth of the lucid dream community, or maybe some kind of biological artificial intelligence?
Are they fact, fiction or somewhere in between?

Would really love to hear your thoughts and experiences.

You can watch my video here:

Great little video to make people think. I personally don't believe I have a dream guide. I've searched for one in the past and while I encountered characters who might be classified as mystical beings, I don't think they really were. I've yet to meet a character in a dream that impresses me to the point that I can't deny it was a sentient being stepping into my dreams. Also, how can someone solidly prove that a character in a dream is something paranormal? Is there a way to prove it to others? I'd like to know so that if I ever encounter a dream guide I will know how to go about interacting with it in a way that will prove to me it is not just an overly aware aspect of my own dreaming mind. So far the only thing i can think that might be proof is to have a dream guide predict the future and have it come true.

Why trouble yourself with the question of reality when in the realm of surreality??

      I woke from a non-lucid this morning, 6am, 12 hours ago.

I put thid in my dv dream Journal at about 9am-ish

I think the futuristic queen-head, it called out "Stop" when I couldn't see her. Then her head came and landed on a metalic table. She had a gold ... thingy ...flowing metalic material ... under her neck that she landed on.

I think she was a most important "dream guide"

      Her message

      STOP

      taking the mugwort ⚘

      This is from my dj

      ⚘⚘⚘

I don't think I should have any more "mugwort" woke-up out of a SUPER VIVID dream and the order was given "Stop!". Some one picked up a big, long but light weight gun. It made two thingies go all lightening like. A couple of hours after waking, sitting in the lounge of No Limits Gym (right now) I think the "mugwort" overstimulated my Brain.

The gun made a small thing and a big thing all energized and electrified. The thingies NOW reming me of brains. A giant one and a human sized one.

And a queen shouted one word "STOP" (!!!)

So I think the mugwort it toooooooo much for me.

Overstimulating my little human brain and the BIG brain aka "Our-Dreaming-Mind".

I had to smile at your reply there!
I pick people up when they say," is such-and-such real", with the response, "well, it's not imaginary", but this is the opposite - kind of.

It is because I spend so much time in the realm of surreality that I must question the 'realness' of whether a dream being is just a fragment of myself or whether it is something beyond. How wonderful would it be to say with 1000% certainty and proof that I have encountered something mystical, paranormal, interdimensional, or something that I can not even fathom with my conscious mind at the moment. Much of the main stream western world didn't (and still do some degree) didn't believe that lucid dreaming was real until someone went ahead and proved it was real. The day or night a dream guide being proves to me that it is its own entity, it not just some random character of my own subconscious's creation, will be the moment I've taken a deeper step into the world of dreaming or whatever lies just beyond dreaming.

I wish you could sense the aroma of this smelly Mugwort.

I got a brown paper bag of 100 grams of organic Mugwort.

      Maybe my "floatinghead" dream guide
was just drawing my attention to the dream power
of this stuff. And advising I take-it-easy and not to abuse it.

      I'll take another draught tonight.

      See what happens

      Thanks for the encouragement Fly_by_night

⚘I'm keeping my Mugwort adventure in my dv dj. That floating head is my dream guide ( me thinks) here is what I just posted in my dj. At the bottom is the link.

Well, I woke to a very vivid dream this morning
After having a cup of Mugwort tea last night. But the dream reminded me of something taught by a Swami at Glenelg beach over 15 years ago.

He said, to a small meeting of less than 20 students of his, that, well, firstly he said choose who you let into where you sleep and preferably keep you sleeping space totally for you.

      Then he said something like

What you do with you time awake time effects what you will dream about.

If you go the the race track and get excited about the race or if you sit by the radio keenly listening to the horses races, then if you did that with "focus" it will turn-up in your dreams.

He was pointing out that to get "useful" dreams you must tune into those kind of "useful" activities while awake.

The vivid (mugwort) dream I woke up out of was me being abused sexually. Mmmmm.

I think I need to start going to my sacred beach again and fill my mind with "usefull" moments to give my dreams something "useful" to work with.

I will have a cup of Mugwort tea ONLY after bussing down to the Henley-Grange strip of beach. Where I walk Jetty to Jetty chanting

      "Everything is Perfect
      And Im ALWAYS prepared"

To the song of the republic

Here is the song of therepublic

You can watch my video here:

Myth they are not. I had several encounter with them, even before I knew what dream guide is. I knew only that they are preparing me for something, something that I already knew but forgot. Every time I push deeper and deeper into the rabit hole. Last week I reached new level and with that I became one step closer to my goal. I think, I reached deeper than most dreamers here. I met with the 'Constructor' of all dreams, he wasn't very happy about it.

It begin as normal dream, I was walking with my best friend in some town, when suddenly notice something is not right. So I looked around and asked him, what city is this, I don't recognize it. He didn't say anything. In that moment I saw two absolutely indetical cats and said in loud voice "lol dream artifacts"(I mean glithces like in games) and "am I dreaming". Then my 'best friend' get very upset and said "Why, why you are still able to recognize that you are dreaming, after I tried my best to stop you", I just looked him dazled. He was angry and babling some insults in low voice. He turned towards me "OK be your way, next time I will create the dream so perfect, that you will have zero chance to become lucid", he touch my forehead with his index finger. I couldn't move my body anymore, he looked in my eyes "Wake up"(I heard the voice in my head). I wake up in my bed.

What do you think about it DanielLove?
