Every new lucid dream always makes me go "WOW" when I wake up. But the best times were when I nuked the city, flew to the moon, caused a tornado... and uh.. thats all I can think of right now.
I am sitting at the computer, logged on to Youtube. I'm watching a video involving dart wars and Kirie from Girls Bravo. As soon as the video ended, I live through it. The house is divided into two camps; red on one side, blue on the other. The blue team consists of Kirie, Koyomi, and myself. On the red team are my two annoying next-door neighbors. We all have dart weapons. The blue side has three-pronged blasters, and the red team has this two-barreled semi-automatic reloader thing. The battle commences. My team quickly gains the upper hand, driving back the red team. As the other members of the blue team go forth and conquer all, I am left to guard the base. This gets boring very quickly. Eventually, I become highly impatient and decide to go roam for a snack. I get my snack and discover that the red team has been more or less conquered. They have been driven to the back porch, and are taking heavy fire from Koyomi and Kirie. Somehow, they summoned about seven hundred nerf darts, and are now shelling the red team mercilessly. Finally, the battle ends...or so I think. Kirie steps out of the bunker and lifts up one of the red team members. He stammers out a sentence...
"But...I thought you were on our team."
"Don't worry, I am."
She pulls out a Halo plasma grenade and throws it behind her, sticking it to me. The grenade goes off, destroying my house as it does so. We are all now airborne. Massive chunks of rock are flying through the air. Below us, there are many long, long drops to instant death. Our only hope of suriving is to latch onto a rock and hope it absorbs the blow. Everyone is able to clamor onto this one flat rock, but I cannot find one.
I drift over a massive waterfall and begin my plummet to death. Down, down I go, faster and faster, hurling toward a rocky outcropping below. I count down the time. All fear is gone, replaced by a feeling of exhiliration. Three...two...one...I smash into the rocks. A book is open right before my nose...it seems to contain credits for something. As my body shuts down and my consciousness fades, I read over the book, knowing that it shall be the last thing I ever see. Death did not come, however. I did not lose my grip on consciousness, and my body didn't feel broken or misshapen. Just as I realized I was still perfectly okay, the dream ended.
I was in a city, in the middle of a large town square that had a simple patterned tile covering the ground. I am standing next to a subway entrance with a group of people and am listening to their conversation. I don't remember any of the conversation, because it was not important. Just as everyone is turning away to leave i point across the square and announce that I am going to rob the bank. Several people just stopped and stared at me with a very funny looking, uneasy look on their face. Their faces were saying something to the effect of "Is this guy crazy?" and "This guy can't be serious". I couldn't help but laugh at the stupid looks on their faces. What do i care what they think? I'm the Joker! (this bank I'm referring to isn't actually a bank, but just a huge vault sitting on one side of the square)
I walk over to the vault and find that my crew has already cracked the safe and is inside. As i step inside I see that they are setting up the explosives to blow open the strong boxes. They don't set up the explosives correctly and the resulting explosion just makes a huge bang but doesn't even put a dent in the strong boxes. They start resetting the explosives immediately. After the first explosion someone outside notified the police and SWAT vans were pulling up. I reach inside my coat and pull out a small sub machine gun. I can hear SWAT gathering just outside on either side of the vault door.
I walk right out of the vault in plain site of everyone. There are 3 SWAT on each side of the door. I turn to my left first and mow down all the SWAT standing there. I quickly whip back around and rush right up to the closest SWAT. I grab his assault rifle so he cant bring it to bear on me and shoot the other two officers behind him. I stick my smg between his kevlar vest and his helmet and shoot him in the neck. As he slumped to the floor I Heard a shot ring out and turned around just in time to narrowly escape a round from a sniper. I spot the sniper on the roof of a building across the square. I know that I'm dead if i stay out in the open so I dive back into the vault just as another bullet ricochets off the wall. As I stand up i see a high powered rifle laying on the ground. I pick it up and take several shots at the sniper forcing him to take cover. at this point the dream just kinda faded.
There is--though I do not know how there is or why there is--a sense of infinite peace and protection in the glittering hosts of heaven. There it must be, I think, in the vast and eternal laws of matter, and not in the daily cares and sins and troubles of men, that whatever is more than animal within us must find its solace and its hope. I hope, or I could not live.
Either my epic zombie dream, or the dream where I was a guy sent to clean out an old Nazi concentration camp/base that, and after I unlock more parts/rooms/areas each day, starts to get more scarier and abstract, such as ghosts, things shifting, etc. Basically in the end the guy is lef questioning reality itself, and why he was truing there in the first place (he was sent by the US army, and this is on a secluded island by the way). I'll go into detail about them if you really want, but I was amazed beyond belief at the detail and logic, and just decent storyline in general these dreams had. I've thought about novelizing them many times, I'm just too lazy.
I dreamed about a street with and endless row of buildings which were all the same shape. I walked into the first building and witnessed a murder which scared me crazy. I then ran outside and went into the second building beside the first and saw the same murder. I ran outside again and went into the third building beside the second one saw the same murder again. Building after building I saw the same thing, a cold blood murder again and again and again and again and I was helpless and could not prevent anything. I was stuck in a bizarre loop which, upon waking, felt like an eternity that would never end.

Lol. Also, loving the name, seems like we a fellow CS player.
It has to be this one. The most lucid I think I've ever been.

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID
This was definitely my most successful WILD yet. I didn't get much sleep last night, so I went for an afternoon nap. I lay on my back with my arms by my sides, which is a really unnatural way for me to sleep, but I reckoned it was probably the best for dreamin'. After a very short time I got some serious SP and rolling sensations (for the 2nd time whoop!) and I ended up in an interesting dream.
I had unwittingly inserted myself into a vampire/werewolf story. I think this was brought on by watching Underworld the other day. I was a vampire, of course, and I was walking through a town centre with a couple of my vampire cronies and a werewolf, who had defected. (Apparently the vampires and werewolves were at war). I went along with the plot, which went on around me. It was night time, and the streets were very dark, apart from the orangey glow from some low streetlights. We were on our way to sneak into a werewolf meeting at a hotel. I could see the hotel coming up on the left. It had a distinctly more reddish glow than the rest of the area. The dude beside me said,
"I thought this place was closed this late on a Saturday?" and the werewolf replied,
"Not for us." Sure enough, there was light coming from the building, but only from one side door, which looked like the entrance to a very exclusive club. There were two huge bouncers outside in black suits. We paused at a set of benches out in the street to discuss our next move. The werewolf guy warned me that there would be a scanner inside, and that they were only letting in the most elite of werewolves.
"I'll probably be fine," I told him, with a dollop of arrogance. I left the others sitting on the benches, and walked confidently over to the door. It was only then I noticed I was wearing a very nice suit. I tugged the collar slightly as I walked straight between the bouncers. My swagger was so awesome they didn't even question me. Right inside, there was a thin corridor, only about 3 feet across. A couple of metres inside was a simple ID scanner, the kind they have in some airports, only without the face recognition part. There were two girls I know in front of me (I knew them to be vampires too at the time), and a female guard at the ID scanner. The two girls inserted their fake driver's lisences, and were rejected. A red light shone from above the scanner and a buzzer sounded. Instead of being chucked out, they were allowed to merely walk back outside. It was my turn. I reached in my pocket, and found my ID card I usually use. I reckoned it might work simply because it was actually a real ID, I hadn't bothered with a fake one like the girls before me. Although it did occur to me that they would realise I wasn't a werewolf and not let me in anyway. I inserted my card, but to my surprise, the light turned green and I heard a "ping!". I was in.
Not quite what I looked like as a vampire, but hey...
The female guard stepped aside and waved me onwards. The corridor opened up to normal size. It was very dark- I thought it might almost be so dark I'd lose my perception and wake up by accident, but I concentrated on the small lights shining up the walls at the celing and made them brighter, allowing me to see ok. On my left was a glass wall. On the other side, I could see a fancy restaurant, with all tables full. I reckoned that must be the werewolf meeting. On the other side of the corridor was an enormous elevator door. There were two pot plants on either side, and some people standing in front of it. I recognised one of them as my friend Sophie, who I hadn't seen in ages. I said hello enthusiastically and gave her a hug. My friend Pete was also there. I was pleased to see him too. The lift arrived and the doors opened. I was surprised at what I saw. The interior was about the size of my living room, and there were dozens of people sitting on settees and on the metal floor. It genuinely confused me, but I stepped on anyway. I sat down with Pete against the back of a setee. I caught the eye of a girl across the lift and smiled at her. I caught my reflection in the metal wall and noticed my vampire fangs.
"Shit," I thought. "Although I am really working these fangs!" I assumed I would now be mauled by the many werewolves around me, but no-one seemed to care. Instead, the girl smiled back, and I noticed she had fangs too. We crawled towards each other, cutting a path through the people sitting about, and she leapt on me. We got it on then and there, with at least 30 people watching. Good times.
I had a false awakening here. I "opened my eyes", and felt the dream zap away, and my vision of the vampire chick was sucked into the distance, replaced by the wall in my old bedroom. I thought,
"That was sweet!" and sighed. As I sighed, I let out a huge amount of air. I was exhaling for literally thirty seconds. During that time I took several small breaths, becuase I needed air. At the time I reasoned that I had been breathing so deeply while dreaming that my lungs had absorbed an excessive amount of air, which was just being released now. When I was finished, I got out of bed and walked towards the door, ready to go downstairs and see what everybody was up to in the real world. My left arm felt really strange, like it was pointing the wrong way or something, but I stretched and it seemed to fix itself. I reached for the door handle, and noticed that I felt a bit strange, like I wasn't quite sure if this was a dream or real life. My vision was a tiny bit fuzzy, and I thought this might be from just waking up, but I did the hand reality check anyway, and was astounded to see about seven fingers! I laughed to myself that I could be so stupid to have thought this was real- I was in my old house after all. As soon as I became lucid, I had a familiar feeling of being "trapped in the dream", which I only ever had once before, in my lucid nightmare where I kept having false awakenings. Waking up for real would've been fine, and a few seconds ago, I really thought I had. There was even a vague echo of The Twilight Zone music which tormented me last time. I resolved that I wasn't going to get into that mindset, and the music petered out. I was incredibly aware here. I was so switched on I found it hard to believe I could still be sleeping with my mind still at work. I walked over to the window. It was afternoon on a cloudy day. Climing through the bushes in my garden was some naked girl.
"Jackpot," I said, and punched the air. I opened the window, ready to climb out, but my three brothers came in. They were asking me something which I can't remember now, but everything seemed so real here that I had to do three reality checks in a row, just to make extra extra sure I was dreaming. I asked them who sent them, for some reason. The biggest brother replied,
"Christine." (she's my ex) I asked him,
"What, is she here?"
"Yeah, she's in the cupboard under the stairs," he said. I went downstairs to see if she was in fact hiding in my house, but there was no sign of her under the stairs. I went inside and hoked about a bit, but quickly became claustrophobic, so I left. I wandered into the living room, where we have a big mirror above the fireplace. I walked over, and saw my reflection. At first glance, it seemed basically normal with slightly longer hair. Then the title of a thread I had read on dreamviews earlier popped into my head. It was about looking in the mirror in dreams, and how something weird always happens. Right then, my reflected face distorted itself into a horrible, demonic visage. The skin darkened, the eyes went totally black, and my head grew horns. It laughed at me evily.
"Fuuuuck that," I said, and stared it out. The longer I stared the more benign and cartoon-ish it got, until the outlines of the main features looked very much like they were drawn by pencil. Satisfied, I turned away and went out into the hall.
About here I woke up. I was shocked to find that it had only been an hour exactly since I lay down in bed!
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.
Vandermeer
Well, if you wonder what my favourites are, all of my dreams are awesome in my dream-journal. But the best one is this!
Fot-travelling over and over again(Alternative title:Being a dragon on a farm).
The dragon dream begins with me as a dragon(i dont know what dragon i was) and beside me was Cynder from todays spyro games. We were fot-traveling(we traveled on fot) and happened to be in the woods. when we came out, we saw a big pasage going on the valley. we walked up that pasage. at the end of the trail, we saw a ring in front of our paws and about 40 feet away were a HUGE farm-house. Cynder said"Step on the circle, it's a checkpoint". I went "okay" and stepped on it. We walked towards the farmhouse. in front of the doors was a sand trail leeding away from the farm house. as we walked towards the doors, we saw people run along the sand trail towards us. We knew they didnt want us here so we fighted. One of the peoples were a hunter(he hunted animals). As i said before, i dont remember the dream exactley so my mind skipped the fight and i saw myself(still in first-person, except with blur scence) lying on the ground. The hunter stood in front of me and said "Se ya in hell...". i shaked my head a little and saw him completely, He pointed his hunter shoot gun at me. After i shaked my head, he said"dragon". I shrieked "Cynder!!!!" as he shot me in the head.....................Everything turned black as he shot me, then a weird sound went out from my head that said "FUCK!" and the scene faded in with myself standing with cynder in the circle. I did the EXACT same thing and ended up with a bullet in my head AGAIN. The same voice came out from my head and i saw myself with cynder in the circle...again...I looked at her and asked"You dont have a weird feeling, have you?". She answered "no, why do you ask" i turned around facing her and answered "because" BOOOOOM!!! The hunter shot me again behind me laughing a little. Everything faded again and i heard the EXACT same voice, but this time it said"BULLSHIT MAN!!!!" and i saw myself with cynder in the circle. I looked at her and said"This isn't the way we should go" and turned around. She asked "Why?" and i said "Trust me" and flied away. She flied with me away from the farm house.
It was so awesome that i would se my second favourite dragon in my dream! Also, i was non-lucid.
