You may be detecting a certain sense of excitement in these replies. There's good reason for that. This awareness you have of the transition phase between wakefulness and sleep isn't something that occurs naturally for everybody. Many (if not most) have to work to develop it over time so you have a great tool to start working with.

Forming a habit (or attempting to) of reality checking when you wake is a great idea. I can practically guarantee that at least some of those times when you thought you were awake, you were actually dreaming in a false awakening state. I think you'll soon discover for yourself how realistic these can be.

Anyhow, you'll have a lot to explore as you move forward, so don't feel like you need to be in any rush. Opportunities are everywhere for you right now. Enjoy the journey.
