      Flying/Creating objects/Other cool stuff

Hi peoples, I'm quite new here and I intend to stay, because a specialist Lucid Dreaming forum is exactly what I need.

Anyway, my problem is this: whenever I lucid dream, I can't fly or make objects appear or anything, like I don't have 'admin powers' in my dream. If I try to fly I just float up about two metres and then glide back down, or if I try to make things appear, quite simply, they just don't.
Therefore, my question is this: what am I doing wrong or what can I do to obtain these powers over my own dream?

      Your help is much appreciated!

      Don't say "can't"

You just weren't believing enough that you could.

Remember "Positive things happen to positive people."

Also try reading the tutorials and that you don't learn to do everything in your first lucid.

Some people can fly all by themselves without creating an "explanation" as to why they can fly. Other peoples' dreams are slightly more stubborn and even if the person strongly believes they can fly, and expects to soar away from a standing position, sometimes it still might not work. In this case, create a scenario where you "know" you'll be able to fly based on something that "happened before". For instance, you can "remember" that you took a potion that would allow you to fly without impedement. Or, you can "remember" that you had just put a jet pack on, then you can take off. If the jet pack doesn't appear right away, simply make up another excuse for that. For instance, you try to push an imaginary button on your side, where the jetpack should be. You could say something like, "oh, where the heck is that strap?" or wherever you imagine the button to be on, then expect to feel it once you reach over to grab it.

It's easy to fool the dream if you know what to look for, and what to do. It comes easier with experience.

Dreams are all about expectations and visualizations! If you want to fly without the help of a summoned object, or without giving any other explanation to the dream, imagine the force you'll feel as you take off, and do not expect to slow down then fall.

Somtimes, you might just have squat control, which can happen to anyone. In this case, don't get stressed out, and instead try something more low-key.

      Good luck.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

While awake, can you imagine what it would feel like? Throughout your day, try to daydream about what you would like to do in your dreams. Get yourself in the state of mind that you can do anything.

Yeah, daydreaming is an excellent way to improve dream control.

I've also recently learned that there were studies a few years ago about the effects of video games on lucid dreams. People who play a lot of video games tend to control their dreams a lot easier. This is because they're used to being in a virtual world where they have more control than reality. Video games + day dreaming = dream exercise!

Another idea on the flying thing is to watch 100 episodes of DBZ. At least enough for it to burn into your subconscience... You could also learn the summoning jutsu from Naruto to summon items.

Just some weird ideas that might work.
