I really recommend relaxing and trusting in the Grace of God to provide these Lucid Dream experiences for you. Some things are in our hands, some things aren't. My personal approach is that asking is up to me, and giving is up to Him. Many people opt out of the belief in a deity when it comes to lucid dreaming, rather seeing themselves as the lone agents or explorers of the realm. However, for both psychological and spiritual reasons, I've found it helpful to invoke the God of Dreams (Not a separate deity per-se, but an attribute of the God of All Creation whose nature is Love). I put my faith and expectation into being given a dream from Him as a gift. This has worked incredibly well. It's my pleasure to share.
