Hey DV!
I have been loosely interested in Lucid Dreaming (and dreaming in general) for years, I enjoy reading people's journals etc. For few months I have been trying to attain lucidity myself, without any luck unfortunately
My dreams aren't vivid at all, they are very blur and random. I've never had situation when my dream would be so real that I would confuse it with actual reality. So yes, I'm aware that I'm dreaming, but it's far from getting control and the lucidity itself. I could say that dreams feel very inconvinient for me, everything is so fast and changes all the time.
I have Dream Journal, but I'm not really that good in recalling dreams. I usually recall 3 or 4 dreams, but can only describe the last one with details. The rest of them is basically what the dream was about, no details, because I don't remember any of them. I'm not even sure if it wasn't just a one dream that was constantly changing.
I tried WILDing and WBTB. I couldn't put myself in sleep paralysis though. One night I lied on my back in bed for about an hour, clearing my mind and doing all stuff that WILD tutorials tell you about, until it became too uncomfortable and I changed the position to finally get some sleep. I had, however, some progress on WBTB. I started waking up after REM phases, 3 or 4 times a night by drinking water before sleep.
Can you help me DreamViews? Can I improve "clairty" of my dreams somehow? I think this is the only thing that really holds me back... apart from bad recall, but I'm working on it. Can I do anything else to finally get a LD?
