Hello, |
Definetely move on to Mild. Its basically the same but your chances are hugely increased. If you dont get anything for a week from now take a three day break (still record dreams just dont intend on having a lucid one) hopefully by then you will have one. Often people try so hard it seems like there is no progress and they get a lucid when they take a break. |
I don't see any reason to move on to another technique after you succeed in getting lucid with one. If you became lucid once with that technique, you would probably want to keep practicing it in order to improve it. I suggest that you try one technique over a month's time. If you get very little success by the end of that month, then you should move on to another technique. Then you should experiment with that technique for a month. |

Previously known as Lucidis.
perhaps it is best though to take a small break |

Thanks for the advice. the problem is that ever since i started i haven't had a lucid dream yet. so i dont know if DILD is the best way or not. |
MILD is just things you can do while awake in order to increase your chance of having a DILD. By all means learn about MILD as that is where you get the modt results. Be patient, you have your whole life for this. |
Time, patience, motivation, and confidence are all necessary for lucid dreaming. A small break could help a little, but I think you just need to keep trying. You can get pretty far just by not giving up. |

Thank you for the replies. I will keep working at it. |
As you can see by the replies above a lot of people are hoping you achieve your goal of a lucid dream. |
after relaxing and not trying too hard or doing many reality checks yesterday, I had my first lucid experience last night! although it was only about 3 seconds, I was still definitely lucid. I kept the subject of lucidity on my mind but I wasn't being forceful about it like i tend to be. It might have been short, but its a start! |
Congrats! |
yay!!!!!! |
after my first lucid experience i started the MILD method and nothing has happened since. It seems like Im actually further away from my goal. Maybe I will take another break and see what happens... |
