Hey! I'm maddie. I like Music, Dance, Drama. I live with my mom, dad and sister in England

I'm new to all this kind of stuff, but resently I've had alot going on at home, school ect. I'm only thirteen but for a while, the only thing that was almost calm was dreaming. I am honestly not too sure what a Lucid dream is but am looking forward to finding out. for me, I just want to be able to choose what I can dream. That is my goal, I've tryed a number of things like chanting in your head what you want to dream about and stuff, its only really worked once. Anyway I'm looking forward to being a part of this site!

Welcome to DV!

A lucid dream is when you're aware that you're dreaming, so try chanting "I'm dreaming" while visualizing yourself saying so in a dream. That's called MILD and it's a very effective technique.

I suggest starting up a dream journal right away, as it is really helpful in lucid dreaming, and it is essential for beginners i think.

Like Matte said, a lucid dream is where you become aware that you are dreaming. There are various methods to achieve this lucidity
