      Amature Lucid Dreamer

      Hello Dreamviews community!

I had my first lucid dream when I was 13 years old. I am now eighteen and have started reading a book called "Exploring the world of Lucid Dreaming" by Stephen LaBerge. After starting a dream journal two months ago, I have had 2 Lucid dreams so far!

I am looking to learn as much as possible about Lucid Dreaming and get as much help as I can to further my skill in Lucid dreaming.

EDIT-I also think it is interesting to note that when I was a child I could go into sleep paralysis on command. If I laid down, I could go into complete body paralysis in a few seconds. I hope this ability will come back. I assume it would be helpful!

      Welcome to Dreamviews!

Yes, ETWOLD is a great book. So, I guess you learned from it which induction techniques can be used to have a lucid dream. Please check out our DV Academy, to see, if there is a class you would be interested in taking.

Looking forward to your questions and posts. Happy dreams

Thanks for saying hi! I am a bit overwhelmed by all of the aspects of this site, but I plan to be a regular contributor. The MILD technique has been by far my favorite so far.

If you need any help, just PM me or anybody with green stars underneath their avatar, or simply post your question.

If you like MILD, you will also like DILD. You just add some awareness training to your MILD. Here is an article about DILD. More tutorials are in DV Wiki.

Take your time, no need to absorb all info at one sitting. Read up and then ask away.

Welcome to Dream Views! This is the place to be for anyone wanting to learn how to lucid dream. The Dream guide team is here to help you navigate the forum and answer questions. We all have 3 green stars above our avatar. Click on our user name and you can then select private massage if you have a question, or you can start new threads. Don't worry about starting threads that have been started before, just try it out, if it ends up in the wrong place one of us can move it for you.
Also be sure to check out the DVA Dream Views Acadamy, click on this link to get there, DV Academy. Matte , our Dream Guide team leader runs a general lucid dreaming class, and you can join in contests where you gain points for dreams you have. Gab , another Dream Guide runs a class that is very valuable to beginners on MILD/DILD, which is by far the best method to start with.

The very first thing you should do is check out basic tutorials. This one covers most of the terms you will see members using, so start here, http://www.dreamviews.com/f20/beginn...eaming-124786/

Have fun and good luck with your dreaming!
Peace Be With You. Oh, and sure, The Force too, why not.
