Hello all.
I stumbled across the idea to lucid dream while reading up on sleep paralysis two weeks ago. Though I've only managed three nights in which I've recorded more than one dream, my dream recall seems to be steadily improving, and I'm even remembering dreams I had when I was younger. This past week I've also found myself staring incredulous at people and objects in my dreams, and I also think I possibly had a semi-lucid dream last night, though I'll make a post about that in General Lucid Discussion.
I also awoke into sleep paralysis with no fear and hallucinations for the first time in my life. As well as doing reality checks during the day and MILD while going to sleep, I began preparing myself for when I awoke into sleep paralysis, and even found myself strangely excited at the prospect. Then, four nights ago, I woke unable to move and immediately began trying to visualise myself standing on a beach. After a few seconds, however, I realised something was wrong: I wasn't afraid. I even rolled my eyes to the right and tried to sense if something was in the room. But, nothing. Unfortunately, I then became slightly worried and gave up trying to visualise the scene. Then my body began vibrating. Knowing I was falling back asleep, I began repeating to myself "I am dreaming", but within moments I was asleep. What a newbie!
