      Hello DreamViewers!

I tried submitting a post before but my internet didn't like me, so let's go again!

I'm Karla and I'm from Australia. I'm 18 years old and have been dreaming since who knows when, but I have been passionate about the subject since late 2012/early 2013. Since then, I have been crazily writing down dreams and trying to see if I can get certain things to happen within them. I have only been successfully lucid 3 times... Not fully lucid but lucid enough to be aware and change the dream course only slightly. Other things about me; I like drawing, writing stories and singing. I'm looking forwards to seeing what DreamViews has to offer!

      to DreamViews, Karla!

Congrats to your lucids. You seem to be on the right path to have more of them, with your dream journal and enthusiasm. Look around and let us know what we can help you with.

If you are looking for some extra motivation or inspiration, join is in our monthly lucid tasks - TOTM (task of the month) and TOTY (Task of the year). We suggest, vote on, then have one month to complete some lucid task in a lucid dream. We have some easier ones and harder ones, which of course is a relative term, haha. Lucid & Non-Lucid Games

      Happy dreams!

      Welcome Karla!

Crazily writing down dreams is a good strategy I can relate to - been keeping a journal for as long as I can remember and it's been very rewarding. It's fun to browse through the pages and read what cool things our mind can come up with. And if you add lucidity to the mix - there's something to look forward to every night .

      Welcome Karla.
Hope DV inspires you - there's loads of good techniques and tips here.
Three lucid dreams is infinitely more than none - so youre well on your way to many many more.
Just browsing the forums usually brings on a spontaneous lucid or two for me.
      Good luck!
P.S. will you change your name when you turn 19?

Thanks for all the welcomes guys! I made a "Lucidity Bucketlist" which includes TOTM and TOTY but still haven't achieved any of the points on that bucketlist. I've been updating my dream journals but am still struggling to approve someone's comment, I can't see a check box anywhere! And to "slimslowslider": I usually have the number as the age I registered on the site. So it will be staying as 18, even when I turn 30! It's a good way so not all my usernames are the same... So for my DeviantArt Account, it's KarlaB14.
