Thread: Hello, here is... me!

Hello everyone!

I always search for a meaning for my dreams, what does it mean to dream about this or to dream about that? And why??? So basically I was looking around for some information about a dream I had last night when this site caught me eye. Dreams have always been very interesting to me and thought that maybe this could be something for me?
I have had dreams about things that would happen a few days later. One particular dream I remember was when I visited a Zoo with other children from my class, we walked around and had a great time. I had never been on that place before but when we eventually went there with the school, I realized that it was like the dream repeated itself.
It was really weird.

Welcome to the forum. "Premonitory" type dreams are quite curious indeed; I've had some, but my mom had them often (and still does have them but not as much as before).

I personally don't like to discuss the meanings of someone's dreams too much unless I know the person well, because I don't want to insert a bias that didn't exist before. That said, I think there's a sub-forum just for that.

Also, you may or may not have realised that the forum has a large section about lucid dreaming; i.e. dreams where you know that you are dreaming.

Thank you! I have heard of it before and been able to be lucid dreaming but for only a short amount of time.

If I dream it's like this:

*Runs* "Wait, it's so boring to run around." *Suddenly flies* "Oh, I'm dreaming?? Alright." *Flies around for a few seconds and then wakes up*

I do remember my dreams surprisingly well but I never seems to be able to stay asleep when I realize I'm dreaming.

Interesting dream! I find sometimes unexpected elements from dreams can reappear in real life. The question is what causes then and if it is possible to have more such dreams.

Well, could it be well needed info? I don't know really why tho but I had another premonitory dream were my childhood friend got yelled at by her sister in a forest. I didn't like it because the sister was really upset about something. A few days later my childhood friend blurted something about a thing she did (Don't remember what) and that her sister was really pissed so we ran into the forest. We went different directions and lost each other on the way. But after a couple of minutes I started to get worried and looked all over the place for her. When I came out from some bushes she was being yelled at by her sister and the sister said exactly the same things as in my dream. I even saw it from the same kind of angle as in my dream. Kind of behind them but still a little on the side?? lol, don't know what it's called. Anyway, afterwards I was feeling kind of guilty since I knew how it was going to end, since I dreamt it. But of course I didn't know until it happend.

But if it is like that... you don't know what is really going to happen even if you dreamt about it. What kind of use is that premonitory dream then? :s

Definitely keep a track of these things! With more things noticed and written down you may be able to connect some dots over time.
