In my opinion, humans depend 90% on sight, and only 10% on hearing. I'd rather be deaf, because sight contains way more sensory information than hearing.

Though I'd be miserable, I'd rather be blind. Why? Because if I were deaf, I wouldn't wanna live, I wouldn't be able to stand the silence. And Music is my life, if I didn't have that, I'd be pretty miserable beyond compare to just being blind. It truly is picking the lesser of two evils.
