Maybe it's a sad thing to be happy about, but I found a pretty sweet laundromat today. It's brand new, with cafe tables and a cushy sofa, all the machines take cards as well as coin, and it's actually cheaper than the run-down chain place that's an equal distance in the opposite direction.

My $50 earbuds I bought last month are starting to break already. Not happy :/ Maybe I should reserve them for home listening rather than taking them to school and such, but I know the original price was even more, and for that much they shouldn't be too delicate to bring on a walk. Either way, I can't afford new ones, not even crappy ones. I dunno what's causing it either - the sound will just start cutting out if my iPod is in my pocket when I'm walking, or if my laptop shakes or something, but if I purposely jiggle it, nothing happens.

You should get the Skullcandy Headphones, or the ones that blocks most of outside noises next time you have cash.

I have those kinds and even if they do get in water, they still work. (or maybe I'm just lucky)

Yeah I've owned a couple pairs of Skullcandy headphones, but I don't like them lol. I think you're lucky, they've always broken really easily for me. It's too bad, they do look nice.

It's usually a short (break in the wire) right around where the cord comes out of the plug, due to the cord being bent hard against the harder plastic of the plug. If it just started, the way to keep it from getting worse is to make sure the cord is coming straight up out of your pocket and not getting tugged on or shoved against the inside of your pocket. When it does cut out in an unstressed position, I find the best way to get it to connect again is to turn the plug in the jack just a tiny bit at a time, like a fine-tuning knob.

When you do get a chance to for new buds, these are super comfortable and sound as good as anything else under three figures.

I have cord troubles with my iPad charger. I don't know how many of those things I've gone through.

I've not asked hubby for money yet and my youngest boy was in a rage due to hunger I tell them to learn some discipline. I buy everyone 1 can of Pringles when I go shopping. Theirs is gone within minutes. My can lasts all week. I finally had to tell my boy to go hibernate. I'll ask for money in just a couple of hours. He'll live. If hubby doesn't give me any, I'll have to wait until tomorrow for the pawn shop to open. Hubby will grumble, but he'll probably still give me an advance. He's usually pretty good about that, especially seeing how I had more expenses this week because of visiting my daughter.

My rant is my stupid neck. I still can't look down. I can't feel, to distinguishly separate them, most of the bones in my spine; but in between my shoulder blades working up is 2 normal ones then one enormous bone then a few (?) others I can't separate. Above and to the left of the big bone is a muscle (?) that I can feel and move around. No amount of massaging it helps. It's where the pain is originating.

My computer is driving me crazy! I just bought a copy of Skyrim before moving back home at the end of the semester. Lookng forward to some TES action i pop in the disc. Wait! I have to register it with steam. To do that i need to get the internet working.

2 hours later: Yes! The net is up! Commence dragonslaying! Wait... what is this message... "Steam is having trouble connecting to the steam servers"... Fuck! Commence searching for solutions!

Another hour later: Solution: Wait another couple of hours!

Another hour later: Yay! Steam works! Install skyrim! Wait! Fuck! Why is it downloading it? I have the fucking disc right in my dvdrom!

Suprisingly, only a couple of minutes later: Solution found! Lets try... Yay! Validating game cache.. 33%... 60%... 100%... and... and...

      FUCK!

EDIT: Its installing from the disc now! Yay! But i bet there's even more problems later on. Commence 12 hour troubleshooting marathon!

That's what I was thinking, it does seem like it's a problem with that area, but I can't see any sort of damage, and touching it/moving it around doesn't affect it. I'm just gonna put some sugru around the plug/cord, try to be gentle and hope for the best. Thanks for the recommendation, might see about getting those for going out.

I see some beautiful scene outside, I take a picture, and it's crap. I don't know whether that's because the camera fails to capture what's really there, or because most of the beauty that I perceive is due to the alterations my brain makes on the image after it enters my eye. Then I wonder, if another person were here, would they even perceive it to be as intriguing as I do? If not, I'm stuck between happiness at the fact that I'm able to see such beauty and being upset that I can never share the experience with anyone else.

But the same thing applies to music.

Fuck, my dad just told me that Hannukah is tonight and I have to by at my aunt's house in 20 minutes. WTF! I had no fucking idea. Shit. I need to take a shower, and almost all my clothes are dirty and need to be washed. And my only good jeans are ripped. I have nothing to wear. Also, I woke up at 4pm so I feel like shit today anyway. I miss the sunlight. FUCK... Well, I was sober for a day. There will probably be wine there, so yeah... fml

Wow Erii. I've been thinking about that movie for months and tonight (after the fiancee pissed me off) I was like, I'm gonna cozy up with a bottle of wine and watch The Notebook! =D (rented with fiancee's debit card) =DDDD hehe.

Anyway- tired of everything, and I'm hoping it's just the whole "seasonal" depression because I feel fucking low.
