This is a good reason for it to be legalized. Because it's illegal, you have to switch from an almost harmless plant to cigarettes. Too bad you don't live in Colorado, it's going to be legal there soon

Cigarettes are not going to help with the stress.

My rant: Counting down the news days until my contract is over. Cannot wait to move again and try something different.

I went out to smoke, my dad and brother were talking at the dining room table which you can't see from the kitchen. Then I heard my brother's voice but it sounded like he was speaking a different language, I couldn't understand anything he was saying and it scared me. I thought I was going crazy. So while passing them about to go upstairs, I said "Max you're talking in a weird voice right?" just to make sure, and they looked at me, and then I realized there was another person sitting at the table, who I realized in that moment must be my brother's deaf friend. I panicked and said "oh sorry I thought it was just Max and dad here and his voice was different... thought I was going crazy..... I'm sorry" and went back upstairs. I felt fucking terrible about it. I basically just told the deaf person he talks weird. I wasn't even going to say anything, just decided to for some reason. His voice sounded like my brother's....

I finally sort of got over it, had talked about it with someone else and had stopped feeling so bad about it a few minutes later, when my dad knocked on my door and came into my room and made me feel like shit for what I'd said. This sort of passive-aggressive thing in which he laughed about it and said that was really bad, can't believe I came in the room and said that, hopefully he didn't hear me. Yeah I already feel like shit about it and am trying not to, definitely don't need you coming in here making me feel worse about it as if you assume I didn't care before or something. Then as though that wasn't enough he says "drinking some beer?" I have like 7 beer cans on my desk but half are from yesterday, and I told him that. Then he looks around my room and says "wow dear you're a bit of a pig" implying my room is really messy but is also an insulting way to say it. I said it doesn't matter, it's my room, no one even walks by here since it's at the end of the hallway. And that's true. I was in the best mood possible before this and now I feel like complete shit. Fucking thanks.

*accidentally posted this on happy & cheerful twice in a row, wtf*
So.. the first part just seems like it would be embarrassing, I don't think that the Deaf kid would have took any offence to it, I used to have a deaf friend and I would alway ask him to repeat himself when he talked, I felt embarrassed, till he told me to quit apologising and that he understood, then he cracked some joke about never being able to hear me when i talked.

The second part kinda makes reminds me of my dad, I never really knew how to describe it becasue I didn't know what passive aggressive meant back then but, me and Him don't get along, I think people like that are assholes.

Its not really so much stress as it is the stress of not having an addiction and mind change... Id gladly smoke a pack a day, if it meant I could get a job then I'd quit again just like everytime before.

      fuck racisim

I wish people weren't so dumb.

Stupid things happened today...people wanted to fight. (last time there was a fight, a new bouncer told me 'hey you don't work here', and I backed off) I sat back and watched everyone talk a lot of crap and kept in mind who I was going to fight for if it came down to it. There were two people....a guy I've known since kindergarten and his best friend. Well anyways....people left and things seemed good.

I'm leaving to head to the bar down the street, when I see the girl I was dating (by this time she made it pretty obvious that we were just friends) and she was all frowned up. This other girl was yelling at this guy, because he had said the N word.....not only that, the guy had called her a Nigger lover. The girl I thought I was on a date with tried to mention the Dave Chapelle thing and we were like "yeah we say it to eachother all the time....." but something was different. Dude literally was storming off....and she (the other girl) was yelling at him to just try her, and that she doesn't give a fuck about colour. The dude kept walking, and she kinda followed him a bit, and I told her not to get into it. (i'm at the point where I realize this girl isn't my date because another guy rubbed her from front to back like it wasn't nothing....and she didn't care) I grabbed her, and hugged her, and just sort of reminded her that she didn't need to get into that stupid stuff.

Cops are there....bouncer is looking, and I talk her into downing/giving the rest of her beer to me before she leaves. My "date" walks off into the breeze without saying anything, and the other girl comes back, gives me an awesome hug, and then leaves.
I told her that we had to see each other again...because I found her attractive....but that's another story.

Anyways....later on that night, I hear the bouncer saying "oh it's all his fault, because he's black". I go along with the gag....because that's all I think it is. Then he says "it's his fault because he's taking all the welfare, the food stamps and unemployment."

I said out loud "wow...i've applied for all of those and was never qualified for any of them. As a matter of fact, I spent 6 years in the army, left, and now I'm in nursing school getting my money what I've earned.....also the majority people who are on food stamps and welfare are white".

i lowered myself down to his level with politics....but he never looked me in the eye with it when I said what I said. Some guy realized I was in the military, and decided to buy me a drink. I drank it, and left.

Went down the street, and met up with some other people, and they wanted to go back to the same spot I just left, after hearing what I said (and other stories about this guy) and we went.

The owner's husband says "you guys can stay" (even though it was after hours)......The same guy comes up and tries to kick me out. My friend says "he's with me". He says "he's been here all night, he's not with you guys". They double check him, and then I tell him that the owners husband said I'm cool. After that, he went to the owner and double checked to see if I was cool to stay there, and she said "yes". Finally he let it go, but my friend had to tell me to keep cool, because I was going to go off on that guy over this dumb stuff.

I find it so amazing that there are still dumb people who believe in that stupid stuff. I literally pay his check (you guys know i tend to get messed up a lot...and normally it's at a bar....not at home) and he's still so dumb about things. Some guy was trying to remind me what town we were in, and I reminded him that my friend and I were born in that same town and we don't feel that way about things. Generally, I'll joke around about dumb racist things with people I know, but I don't know this guy like that, it was obvious that he wasn't joking around. I keep trying to listen to the sentence I made the other night. At the same time, I'm ready to call on every every biker, redneck and everyone else who I've met there (who has my back for life) in the past several years before he even had that mediocre job to beat his ass down after I do it myself.

He's deaf, he wouldn't have even heard what you said. Or did your brother tell him or something?

Finished my last day today, my boss "Woohoo'd" when I walked out....
Luckily her bitchiness makes me far less attracted to her.
The downside is that I only got that job so I could have a good reference for better work.

Looks like I'll get the paintings finished too, if I spend ALL day tomorrow on them.

I didn't hear anything about Montana legalizing it, I thought it was just Colorado, Washington, and Oregon? I think it will probably only pass in Colorado, but possibly Washington too. It's crazy that we have to legalize a plant...

Out of curiosity, did you ever read trip reports much? That's what really got me going. :3 Back when I first started smoking weed I wanted to learn as much about different types of highs as possible so I just started reading Erowid all day and all night and fact checking in the meantime. Like, I would start on a drug a and read "This was my first time with a, but I have experience b, c, and d." and think to myself huh, now what are those? Then in a report about, oh, say, c, I would read "c was the most intense experience of my life, even moreso than e!" and think, woah, e must be something intense then, too. :O Get to some reports about it and notice that some people who took e took it with f but didn't say much about it, so after a little research I find out what class of drug f is and see all these others that go with it, and when I look those up it just leads to me even more things I don't know, and then I start to learn about those and go hey, this interacts with that like this, and that creates effects like this other thing! I wonder if there's a link? Start researching the chemical data, etc., etc., etc....

Ah, takes me back. Now I really only do Google Scholar searches for very specific ideas because I've run out of basic interests to research lol.

I started with datura reports. Just about anything listed under "Difficult Experiences", "Bad Trips," or "Train Wrecks & Trip Disasters" tends to make for a pretty good bedtime story. And it'll also get you interested in the workings of the mind like nothing else. (Until you work your way up to the salvia and DMT reports, anyway.)

Yeah man, it grows as a weed all over the country, just rip some out of the ground and shove it in your mouth. And when you get out of the psych ward in a week, write a trip report about it so we can all have a good laugh.

You really don't want to get high of scopolamine, I don't think I've ever read a positive report on it.

I wondered if anyone would know what I was talking about. XD For the record I didn't actually have anything in mind when I picked those letters lol.

I've read good scopolamine reports, but it's not exactly something that just anyone should go for because it requires a lot of discipline and proper care, and it's certainly not physically safe. But if you read the part of my post that says "when you get out of the psych ward in a week" and don't think that I'm joking, maybe you need that kind of smack in the face. (Still kidding, by the way.)

My rant is that I am very sleepy. I only got 3 hours this morning before I had to leave to see my girls... and then I was late And my youngest was crying by the end of the visit which always makes me feel like crap. She's moving about as far north as you can get in this state so I'm only going to be able to see her about once a month. If her sister moves, who knows when they'll see each other again.
At one point they were talking in code so I turned my ears "off". She eventually got my attention and I told her I didn't hear anything. She was annoyed and said she wanted me to overhear. She's trying to get her sister to smuggle in cigarettes for her transfer on Thursday (and of course, they want my help) I don't think so. She's not had a cigarette in about a year. Why the heck would she start again now? Grrrr...

My back and neck are VERY sore and my chest is getting inflamed which means I'll probably be able to pop it soon. Which means my anxiety is through the roof. Though I still don't FEEL anxious (or rather, THINK anxiously). But I've also been exceptionally crabby these last couple of days.
It's all because of my up-coming trip to Chicago. I really hate traveling. But I'll be taking my car again which makes things a bit better.
But I have to re-ozonate it after my trip to see my youngest for her graduation on Tuesday. I really hate that ozone machine.

Ugh... there's just too much going on. I'm going to be gone in Chicago for almost a week. Ugh...

I've decided to get a tattoo in like 6 weeks. A friend is getting one aswell. I'm not going to tell my parents though. They'll get a heart attack when Ima show them my tattoo l0l. I haven't decided what kind of tattoo yet. But I want one on my arm. Around the sleeve of my shirt xD. Does anyone here have a tattoo and does it hurt getting one?

Are you really sure you want to do that, it sounds like a terrible idea. Why would you put yourself through that just to get a tattoo (On which you haven't even decided what you want), you do realize that it will always be on your body and you will always walk around with it. I don't know man, it doesn't sound like your prime motive is getting a meaningfull tatto. Oh well it's up to you, just think this out before you make a mistake.

Silent meditation in the dark is good for best results, but I've also been able to use Stramonium before sleep for lucid dreaming purposes. Typically the trips manifest with an air of seductive evil, bloodshed, and death to them--things that I greatly enjoy as an alternative to the clichéd puppies and flowers atmosphere of most traditional psychedelics.

Just to grab a few really quick. Deliriants are hardcore but they're not as out of control as people think, it is possible to do them right. Not everyone takes large doses of drugs on a whim without doing any research first, and not everyone dislikes dark experiences.

DISCLAIMER: Not that I'm saying anyone here should feel encouraged to do it now, it's something that requires a very serious attitude and lots and lots of preparation, careful planning, and in-depth research first, not to mention some disregard for your own health. Be careful, people.

The second part kinda makes reminds me of my dad, I never really knew how to describe it becasue I didn't know what passive aggressive meant back then but, me and Him don't get along, I think people like that are assholes.
I hope he didn't take offence, it just seemed rude of me.
Glad to hear someone else has experienced the passive-aggressive thing from parents, because I have a hard time convincing myself it isn't me doing the wrong thing. I didn't know how to describe it either until very recently because I didn't know there was a problem on their end. It's hard to identify because those people aren't being outright assholes. It would be easier to believe they were doing something wrong if they physically hurt me or became furious over things that obviously don't matter. In a way that would be better, because it's hard to convince a passive aggressive person that they're wrong, which I guess people decide to do it. Because they're being so nice on the surface, if I bring up that they're being mean or something, it seems like it's me trying to provoke anger, and they make the excuse that they were just asking a simple question or making a comment, and they're only saying/asking whatever they do because they love me and care about me. It's literally impossible to do anything about so it's infuriating. If I had told my dad "do you realize it's sort of mean to call someone a pig?" he'd probably do something like laugh and say "well you are, look at how messy this is! It'd be nice if you could clean it up."
Parents are the worst but around here a lot of people are passive aggressive. I think it might be because around here, people don't talk to one another much, it's socially expected to be quiet and reserved. So people who desire to make others feel bad can resort to being passive aggressive. There's more of that than regular aggression.

He has something implanted in his ear (or brain, not sure) so he can hear a little, and he read lips well. I'm hoping he didn't hear/see the first part of what I said, "you're talking weird, right?".

I agree with dutchraptor, it sounds like a stupid decision. It can't be emphasized enough that it's going to be on you for the rest of your life. You really need to grasp what that means. That's after you've experienced more and grown mentally, after many of your opinions have been altered and you've undergone experiences that have changed the way you view everything. Even if you're sure you want one and are willing to risk regretting it in the future, six weeks doesn't sound like long enough to decide. You should really look into it first and do not set a time limit for yourself. Getting a tattoo isn't some fun outing to plan with friends like teenage girls getting their ears pierced. Look through different tattoo options in your spare time, which could take weeks or months or years, until you come up with something that goes beyond what you'd merely 'like', something meaningful which you're extremely unlikely to ever change your mind about, and which you feel you NEED to have marked on your skin for eternity.

I took a 2-3 hour nap, woke up, and thought it was 3:45 PM or so. So I turn the alarm off before it gets insanely loud and annoying. I go to my laptop at my living room, checked the time, and saw it was 2:45 PM.

      I was like..........

FALSE AWAKENING FALSE FUCKING AWAKENING IS NOT GONNA GET ME.

A relative of mine calls me asking me if I set my time back. Great......

      *sigh*

Then it's confirmed again with another person I know. Then I did a nose plug reality check. Yep, on Planet Earth.

Damn you Daylight Savings Time, thought I was going to have an LD that time...

lol, Poor Link. It almost sucks, sometimes, that our electronics set the time automatically now-a-days. I had a wtf moment last night as well, and I was EXPECTING the time shift lol

I took a good 3 or 4 hour "nap". My chest and back feel better after sleeping. I wont be popping my chest after all, which is a very good thing. Once it starts, I can't stop for a day or 2 and my chest muscle gets majorly inflamed and sore.

I think people take tattoos too seriously sometimes. I'd never advicate (damn you spell checker, why don't you show up anymore!!) lying or hiding stuff from your parents. But generally speaking, if you're trying to hide one from a parent then you can hide it from a future boss etc.
When I got my first tattoo, I had somehow managed to draw and impressive hawk. I took it in to show the artist and I wanted it on my right shoulder blade. But I couldn't afford it (and he couldn't draw it anyhow lol)
I looked through the book but was overwhelmed by all the choices. He suggested a rose with a short stem and a single leaf. He further suggested it to be a blue rose along my bikini line.
I absolutely love it to this day.

      **EDIT**
Zera, didn't mean to skip over your reply. My brain and nerves are just completely fried lol
I'm very envious of you for having seen wolf pups playing
I've tried googling wolves at play etc, but I got nowhere.
But yeah, people do influence their pets. Like, I never played ball with dogs, but I've always gotten them from someone else so they could have gotten the experience from previous owners.

And I know a lot of animals make dens, I've just been curious about the comfort of said dens. Like, if they found cloth in the wild (from a hiker or something) would they drag it into their den to make their sleeping more comfortable? Do they drag in straw or somesuch or even elevate the earth to make a "pillow"?
My pets are naturally so pampered I can't help but think of their ancient ancestors

Yep, some asshole linked to erowid on a forum or something and I spent the next few years reading trip reports and researching the drugs people took in them lol
I've never actually thought about why I stopped. I did read pretty much every single experience that looked interesting for the drugs I was interested in.
I think I also got tired of fighting for Cannabis legalisation and I just sort of stopped going to the weed forums and then stopped researching altogether.
I also submitted a trip report once on massive doses of Valerian. I don't know why. I couldn't sleep properly and was hoping it may help.
It was really weird because I submitted it under a name which was already the name of someone who had submitted a similar massive dosage report and I even put the same title (which I think may be why it wasn't accepted as well).
I found it on there a couple of months later and none of the words were what I wrote, and the dosage was slightly lower, I thought I'd been completely gone and wrote a massive report, having no recollection of it lol
So the Valerian actually had some sort of effect, making my brain extremely suggestive or something, but didn't help me sleep at all.

He said pretty much the same as you. You have to respect that plant and be diligent more than any other psychedelic substance.

That's pretty funny. I tried a large dose of valerian once too, I was hopping to get some mild psychedelic effects from it because some have been reported before and a friend of mine got some closed-eye tryptamine-like visuals from trying it, but it didn't do very much for me.

I know the main reason I don't read trip reports much anymore is just because it gets tiring and repetitive after a while. You start wanting to just skip to the good parts, and then even those become sort of predictable.... Every now and then they're still good, though.

Ah, yeah, I've seen some of his posts. I've been interested in doing that for a long time, I'll probably give it a shot at some point. I've always wanted to start building a relationship with datura, especially after my old explorations with diphenhydramine. Deliriants are wild.... I used to meditate on DPH a lot and one time I even started breaking through to OBEs, it would go from realistic but blurry delirium to crystal clear tunnels of exhilarating psychedelic madness, the intensity of the hallucinations was amazing. Unfortunately I had also dosed a little too high to stay focused and whenever I tried to bring it out fully I would stroke off into some little fantasy world of thinking I was texting nonsense to someone for a few minutes. I've always wanted to dive deeper into that, and I would honestly feel much better about doing it with controlled doses of datura than an antihistamine, I'll bet it'd be a fuller visual enhancement as well.... Can you imagine a datura-fueled OBE? I just know it could take you to all kinds of unfathomable states of consciousness.

You could get travel sickness pills and just take 3 of em or so if you want a controlled dosage.

Oh yeah I forgot to say, I did the same thing as one of those quotes you had. The guy who said he took a sliver and put it in a cigarette.
heh. So weird how people do the same things. Except I took it from the Belladonna tree, and just put a bit of petal and smoked it. I got scared as fuck (instant cold body and just felt.... dead) and never touched it again lol

Edit: Just looked that report up, he says the flowers are toxic and he used the stamen? Guess I poisoned myself slightly.
