Got to take the Corvette convertible out for a spin and was straight mashin' down main street. Got a lot of cute ladies to say what's up.

got my car back! good news, despite it costing me more than my one week's 40hr pay check...

really, it's good. i now have 1) air conditioning 2) speakers 3) cruise control 4) clock 5) sunroof 6) headliner lol 7) indoor storage for my bike--i didn't want to just throw it in the bed 8) power windows/locks

All things the truck doesn't not have. And a lot more. Plus my car's way more enjoyable to drive.

A rather pleasant surprise this morning. After what I thought was a long dry-spell, I pick up my dream journal and find that there are already a half dozen entries that I haven't posted. I scribble down some notes and get busy making my entries, not caring that it is making me late to work this morning.

...and this morning's dream was kinda sexy!

Got an A in 500 level inorganic chemistry, AB in chemical instrumentation, B in archaeology (my papers were great, but fuck them curved exams). Hooray grades based on level of interest!

My grades were perfect my first two years. And then life got shittier. Now things are far more balanced.

What the hell does ab stand for?? is that like an A- or something.

Just the middle of an A and B. It's 3.5 grade points for the course.

I'm happy because i finally arranged every single exam date with the teachers. Now i know what to study on which day to be most efficient ^^
I was also happy while coming home, there was a 5 minutes long rain, then everything got so sunny and the clouds just looked so nice... i had thoughts that i want to fly up there... ^^

I just went swimming for the first time in over a year. Sooo relaxing.

That is awesome, Alyzarin. I hadn't been to a lake/beach in about the same amount of time and I threw in my fishin' rod and dipped my toes in the water a couple weeks ago. Water is a good element to be around. Glad you had fun. I'm happy today, but go into the doctor for a check-up tomorrow. I hate going to the doctor.

Oh well.. here's a story from the afternoon

I found a little black cat.

He was running around on the street and looked all lost. Then i went outside to try and call him to me, to see if he has a collar or something... but he was already in the garden of a neighbour... Now that neighbour is just horrible with animals, they usually hit their dog when she doesn't want to do what they want...
The poor little cat went in there and one of them noticed her and tried to scare her away while doing stomps around her. Then when the kitty didn't want to go out of the garden and was scared, that idiot hit him with a water can...
The cat hid and they couldn't get her out of from under some stairs. I waited until they went into the house and i started calling the cat from the street. After a while he decided to come out from under the stairs and slowly approached me.
He was kinda scared at first, but once i got to pet him he started purring immediately

It's a really friendly kitty, but has no collar... but still, collars on cats around here is not usual, so my mom guessed that it must have owners that actually care about him since he is that friendly... so we decided that we'll put her in our outbuilding for the night and ask around tomorrow if someone is missing him... We didn't want to just let him go and maybe get even more lost on the streets... who knows where did he come from... :/

So we gave him some milk and catfood, water and some cat litter and i put some comfortable pillows for him in the outbuilding. We'll check on him in the morning and then my mom will tell the shopkeeper in the closest minimarket to spread the word that we found a little black kitten and if someone lost him then they can come to our house in the afternoon to take him home.

I can't stand putting a cat/dog on my legs, it's too ticklish.

We'll keep him if the owner doesn't show up... we couldn't just let her go on the street as he was lost already... We already have 4 cats, but we love animals too much to just put him out on the street instead....
But i hope the owner shows up, i would feel guilty if we would keep him, since i'm sure he has a good owner, judging by his friendly behaviour

I didn't have to put him there, he climbed up on my lap everytime i sit down somewhere
