      Native American Flutes:

The top one is more high-pitched, the bottom one is a bass flute - both sound amazing - great for meditation or just relaxing and zoning out. I Love the more simple/primitive instruments like these that are pretty easy to learn and totally non-technical. In the background you can also see part of my didgeridoo. All I can do with that so far is make a sort of farting sound - gotta work on the circular breathing thing.

Here's a vid if anybody wants to hear what they sound like - this is a bass flute:

It's a lot bigger than it looks - I blame wide angle lens trickery. It's about as big around as his, but his is longer. Stop snickering there in the back row! Mine is also made from PVC pipe, supposed to be easier to play than a wooden one, but if I learn to play it I want to get a real wooden one.

My brother's new dog. Sorry for the crappy quality, he would not stop moving. The black and white is a purebred husky, if that gives you a size reference. The brown is half german shepherd, half belgian malinois. I've played around with a full belgian malinois before, this guy was even bigger.

If you still aren't getting his size:
-His head is bigger than my head
-He is as tall as me when on his hind legs
-He weighs 81.5 lbs, the husky only weighs 51 lbs

Pretty awesome dog, good with kids, and protective. Very friendly with people he knows

I've got a didge! They're fun. I tried finding a picture of mine, but this is all I can find (and I'm too lazy to literally turn around and take a new picture of it).

I can't recall why I was taking pictures of the dirt and/or horse shit that splattered on my bike, but my didge is the blurry stick in the background.

Hrmm... looks skinnier than a flute in that picture..

and for a second when I first saw it, I thought that was your didge up front all covered with mud and crap... WTF??!? (though it seems pretty cool that it's got water bottles and gear strapped to it - like some kind of X-treme Sport Expedition model)

And @ Tommo (just noticed this part lol) it actually sounds great - it's just that I can't do the curcular breathing yet and you have to move lot of air through it so I can make a cool didgeridoo sound that only lasts for a few seconds - sounds like a deep bass trance-inducing musical fart.

Took me a little while to get the circular breathing down. It's not too hard, actually--push the air out with your cheeks while quickly inhaling through your nose! I actually bought an instructional DVD with my didge. The two people in it are ridiculous tree-humping hippies, and it's pretty funny when they zoom in on their faces to show the techniques. But hey, it helped!

Here; a slightly better picture (I decided to stop being lazy).

Haha wow - that is fricken insane!! And yeah, I can do the circular breathing thing ok without actually doing it into the didge, but somehow it doesn't work when I try with it. Like I can't blow hard enough or something - or I can't get my lips to vibrate enough from just squeezing out the air in my cheeks. Need to keep messing with it.
