Lol!! My dog used to perk her ears up when I played, but now she's used to it. |

Your didgeridoo is tiny. That's probably why it doesn't sound good. |

It's a lot bigger than it looks - I blame wide angle lens trickery. It's about as big around as his, but his is longer. Stop snickering there in the back row! Mine is also made from PVC pipe, supposed to be easier to play than a wooden one, but if I learn to play it I want to get a real wooden one. |

I've got a didge! They're fun. I tried finding a picture of mine, but this is all I can find (and I'm too lazy to literally turn around and take a new picture of it). |

Hrmm... looks skinnier than a flute in that picture.. |

Took me a little while to get the circular breathing down. It's not too hard, actually--push the air out with your cheeks while quickly inhaling through your nose! I actually bought an instructional DVD with my didge. The two people in it are ridiculous tree-humping hippies, and it's pretty funny when they zoom in on their faces to show the techniques. But hey, it helped! |
|
Haha wow - that is fricken insane!! And yeah, I can do the circular breathing thing ok without actually doing it into the didge, but somehow it doesn't work when I try with it. Like I can't blow hard enough or something - or I can't get my lips to vibrate enough from just squeezing out the air in my cheeks. Need to keep messing with it. |
