Why the hell would you wish that? I'd constantly be reminded I was running out of time and the ticking would drive anyone crazy.

As do crumbles. Funny thing is cobblers, pie's and crumbles are basically all identical. A lot of people use different terms depending where you are. Traditionally only pie has a baked crust all around it, but really all of them can.

My favourite would be a crumble with an all around crust, mainly because I had a delicious homemade blueberry crumble about an hour ago

My mother's apple pies always had awful crusts, so I guess I've been scarred.

My childhood was traumatic.

I remember I was 16 years old when I had my first chocolate chip cookie. I had just moved to the US, and a boy in my class shared one with me. So of course for the next year or year and a half I had a secret crush on this boy. Although part of me suspects in hindsight that he knew, because he took advantage of my crush by shamelessly copying homework from me - I was a good student, he was the class president and apparently did not see the need for doing his own homework if someone else could do it for him. Toward the end of senior year, I suspected he was gay, because he commuted home with another boy who was his best buddy, and the two of them went to the prom together. Then again, I too went with same gender friend to prom, because I was too shy and introverted and nerdish to get a date, and I am not gay. But I know this boy could easily have gotten a dozen dates if he had wanted it, then again maybe that was the problem, maybe he did not want to limit his options, and wanted to continue to give his cookies to a lot of girls.

pie is the best, it destroys cake at birthdays and pie has always been there for me. i physically and mentally want a pie right now, but i can't bake one, and the store is closed plus i have no money. if the pie button wasn't an option i would have clicked not serious enough due to the lack of pies around here. i think i have heat stroke.
