It will be a slow, arthritic melee, but battle it shall be nonetheless.

Wheelchair just means war-chariot to me.

Why can't you go to Japan or Hawaii this lifetime? By the way, Japan is way too stressful, much more than America, except Okinawa, which is like Hawaii.

Sorry, multiple post, but now it is my turn.

I want to remain aware and let my consciousness exit my body via my fontanelle on top of my head and merge with the clear light. There I want to dwell on the shore of form and formlessness until I can wisely choose the best way to be reborn in order to help everyone else achieve cessation of suffering.

I don't want to go to Heaven or Hell or paradise or any perfect idyllic realm because then I will not be motivated to grow andI will become stupid and then I will use up my good karma until I will be reborn as a mosquito.

The reason I am into lucid dreaming is that I am training myself to be able to remain lucid after death. But I think it is not going as well as it could and I should find another additional method.

I want my body to also be eaten by wild beasts.

Most likely death simply means an end to consciousness. Once the brain physically fail you lose cognitive function, memories, emotions, and pretty much everything that is you.

Seems remote that anything would be left after the brain decays.

Still. The science of combatting ageing is advancing more quickly than ever before. I spend my time at university making connections with people that will go on to pioneer immortality in science form.

I shall defeat Death through them. And become ageless. Endless.

And then spend eternity playing Tetris. :3

If you identify with the brain, death ends you. If you identify with the ground state of being, nearly all that you are will remain.
If you have a sense of caring for others, you will manifest a kind of inner strength in spite of your own difficulties and problems. With this strength, your own problems will seem less significant and bothersome to you. By going beyond your own problems and taking care of others, you gain inner strength, self-confidence, courage, and a greater sense of calm.Dalai Lama

Why don't you just use the button that lets you quote multiple people and/or the edit button?

This too. I guess if you believe in karma and reincarnation and stuff it makes sense... But what's stopping you from going out and doing something good for the world now? I think someone else already said this, but how does being reborn help you? You'll still be the same person, after all.

It makes grammatical sense. It just has a pretension of meaning when there is none to be found.

It's a nice question, it would be nice to think about it properly and truly construct a mental image of heaven. Lots of nature, people at peace with themselves, relaxing. Food grows in abundance, lots of clean water. Loads of space. Drugs, unhealthy foods, smoking, absolutely nothing affects the body negatively as it constantly regenerates. And then the ability to imagine things into existence. No institutions of control, no markets, no have nots; freedom, leisure, luxury, time to explore the mind, the natural world/worlds, and basically do what the fuck you want at no cost.

Do you think that people would get bored, though, if they had everything that they wanted?

Think about it logically, what your saying is, there's nothing to do right now because I've got the power to invent whatever new activity/object/scenario/environment/substance that I want. If you remove the ability your just going to get bored a bit quicker. I suppose its the age old argument of wont you eventually get bored of lucid dreaming. I know I wont. Heaven would be like a lucid dream but with real people experiencing their lucid dreams rather than dream characters. Like the idea of shared dreaming I suppose.

I kinda see a lot of issues with this model, though. I mean, say you have this one really annoying dude...better yet, make it a small army, that just won't leave you alone. You try to smite them, ignore them, whatever, but they keep on harshing your mellow. Eh...not my idea of a good time.

And you will eventually get bored...it's just a matter of time. But yeah, an eternity, which is a lot longer than it sounds, of doing the same things over and over and over again would get pretty darn tedious. To make it truly effective, everyone would have to have their own "planes" that they moderate...ban people, kick people, pop in and out of other people's planes, etc. This would cut back on the "annoy" factor. You'd also have to have the power to dump your memory at will; remember some of the pleasure involved with a certain event, but selectively forget that event in its entirety, so you wouldn't get bored as hell.

Of course, I'm sure there are other issues that would have to be ironed out, and I'm sure my solutions aren't perfect, but I think your idea could be capitalized and improved on.
