But it felt so much like a dream within a dream, as if I could feel the dream layer above me. It's kinda hard to describe, the closest thing I can compare it to is being in a basement with your eyes closed and imagining an even more open space. You are "in" a seperate world/space, but you can...sense the other world above you, bearing down. You can't see it, but you know it's there and you know where you are. I've had other "dreams within dreams" that were non-lucid and were just dreams that transfered into vanilla false awakenings. This felt different... And that feeling remained even as I slipped into non-lucidity.

Really, there's no way to describe it in the waking world.
